I know this is outside the usual convo for this sub, but I really want to get your opinions.
I want more representation for India in research. India may have one of the most diverse ethnic groups in the world, but those groups are still some of the most underrepresented.
I'm a student researcher and I was thinking about researching different states in India and what the population thinks about censorship on social media. Tell me why I was so surprised to find MINIMAL studies with Indian demographics being represented??
Finally found this and thought I'd share cause I think it's important. The Max Planck Institute is researching online platform regulation. They're comparing countries and seeing how each population prefers who to regulate the Internet, Reddit, Instagram, Amazon, vagera vagera
If you want India to finally have more representation in science research, PLEASE PARTICIPATE and SHARE with 5 friends/family.

It takes 5 minutes, anonymous, and super quick, they have 27 countries and languages represented, including India (english and hindi) 💪 ! It's not enough yet but it's a strong start.
