Monthly Nostalgic Remembrance Thread - December, 2024

Nostalgia is something which is a bitter-sweet part of our childhood memories.

We all for a brief moment travel back into our childhood days, whenever we encounter something nostalgic. It helps us reliving those amazing moments once again, and cherish those beautiful memories.

Come here and scratch those distant memories to remember instances of your childhood, which might bring out a wide smile on your face, after having been constantly living with stress and anxiety of our everyday busy lives.

Share your amazing thoughts, memories, stories, and experiences with the rest of us, so that others who can relate and be a part of that nostalgic moment can also travel back to those memory lanes because of you.

Anyone remember this crazy one? Actually I did not get this because we were using Closeup but my friend gave me this bike and I lost it somewhere 🤧.

BTW Tron: Legacy is a good movie with good music, thanks to Daft Punk.

Roadies 8 Theme song. Probably the last season before it went downhill

I’ve never liked Roadies, to be honest, but I believe the first nine seasons were created by someone who genuinely believed in the show and poured their heart into it. There were no budget constraints or compromises taking the show to places like Brazil, Africa, the USA, Australia, and Singapore shows how much it meant to them.

Now, when I see clips popping up, it feels like Roadies or Bigg Boss are trying to appeal to a different kind of audience. It seems like they’re just imitating what the previous creators did but adding a “desi tadka” to it.

Does anyone else remember this Air Wick ad or is it only nostalgic for me?

I remember watching it while watching cartoons like Hero Bhakti hi Shakti hai, Doraemon, Shinchan, etc. 🥹. I literally had to search for this ad for days after getting it's jingle became an earworm few months ago.

☆ Gangadhar Hi Shaktimaan Hai ☆

Back in the mid 90s and early 2000s, Mukesh Khanna had the country spinning on his moves 😄

I still remember how my friend used to rush from school and hop on his bicycle to reach home and watch "Shaktimaan" - an Indian SuperHero 😁

Somehow he got me hooked to this series and I was devasted later 🤣 But then, it was fun!

What were your experiences?

Can someone pls help me find this childhold game!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So it was a game i played back in the 2010s, it was a rooftop skyscraper parkour game set in a white urban city, it looke ALOT like Mirrors Edge but it was 2d, i remember there was a mechanic to break your fall and you also had to fight off what i believed to be security, i remember one level distinctively where you had to chase down a guy but thats about it, it was a super white aestethic, the main protagonist was a woman that lookes alot like the mirrors edge girl. i played it on my TV idk any other devices that it mightve been playable on, my memories of it are vague but herrs some games that its not:

N+, Vector, canabalt.

Seeing these old cassettes hits me with pure nostalgia

The only way I got to listen to so many old classics was through my dad’s huge cassette collection. Good times!
