##Family Tree
##Timeline
229 AC – A very brief affair between the Lord of Casterly Rock and Theia, the daughter of one of Lannisport’s wealthiest merchants, results in the birth of a golden-haired girl nine months later. Ashamed by her actions, the merchant casts Theia and her baby out, unaware of the father’s identity.
231 AC – Lannisport is sacked and Theia, who had built a reputation for herself as a seamstress, loses everything when her small shop is burned to the ground. Desperate, she writes to Lord Tyrion and informs him of Caria’s existence. He is hesitant to believe it at first, but when he sees the girl he knows her as his own. Both for her discretion and to provide for his firstborn, he pays Theia a yearly sum of gold.
237 AC – Despite her best efforts, Theia cannot tame her wild daughter. Caria grows to deplore the domestic skills of needlepoint and sewing; her interests lay in the ships entering and leaving the harbor, in the knights that patrolled the city streets with their swords and spears, and in the faraway hill-fortress of Casterly Rock. She knows the man that visits her mother once a year or so is from there, but not why he visits.
241 AC – Caria is just twelve years old when she meets Gwyneth, an orphan of the Sack who had taken to stealing and pickpocketing in order to survive in the streets of Lannisport. The two quickly become the best of friends, even though Theia forbids her daughter from consorting with “street rats and ruffians.”
244 AC – Dreaming of far-off lands and dominions beyond the borders of home, Caria and Gwyn stow away aboard a merchant’s ship that they believe is bound for Braavos, but is actually headed to Myr. Alone in a foreign city and without any money, they are forced to make a living the only way they can - by stealing. Eventually, they meet and befriend Briar and Lem, who work as extortionists for one of the city’s gangs.
245 AC – The four are accosted by members of the Bright Banners who Gwyn, now Griff, was attempting to pickpocket outside of a popular tavern. Instead of losing fingers for the crime, Caria volunteers herself, Griff, Briar and Lem for service in the ranks of the free company. Forced to sign a contract of five years, they are outfitted and sent off to the Disputed Lands, serving as squires, cupbearers and armor polishers.
246 AC – Life in the company is hard, but for Caria, earning an honest day’s pay is as rewarding as it is thrilling. The Disputed Lands are where proper mercenaries are made, forged in the fires of endless wars, and the trio experience many battles in their first year. Caria takes to the sword and horse more easily than her friends, whose expertise lies in the delicate art of subterfuge. Nevertheless, their skills come in handy when put to the task of scouting and sometimes assassination.
247 AC – While traveling from Qohor to Volantis, Caria and her companion Rodric go hunting together at the edge of the Dothraki Sea. They are ambushed by one of the great white lions that are known to roam the vast wilderness. She narrowly avoids having her face torn off by the claws of the hrakkar, throwing herself from her horse and drawing her blade. A fierce battle ensues, ending in the lion’s death. Caria still bears the scars of the encounter, and had the lion pelt fashioned into various bits of clothing, including a mantle.
248 AC – Caria, having risen to the rank of serjeant in just three years, finds herself on the opposite side of the battlefield from her countrymen when Myr hires the Bright Banners during the war against the Iron Throne. One of the generals in the opposing army is the same man who visited her mother from time to time all those years ago, though they never come face to face during the fighting.
249 AC – For her hard work, dedication, and fearlessness, Caria is elevated as the youngest ever captain within the ranks of the company. Her strategic acumen, martial prowess, and leadership having proved invaluable in the many conflicts involving the Bright Banners over the last half a decade, from battling with other free companies over the grim landscape of the Disputed Lands, to crossing swords with knights of the Seven Kingdoms before the gates of Myr.
250 AC – With their mandated five long years of service concluded, Caria, Griff, Briar and Lem decide to leave the Bright Banners behind. A few friends made along the way join their party - Roddy, the other survivor of the hrakkar attack, and the twins Tamryn and Cadwyn, who were born into the company but wished to one day become proper knights. Thus, the six companions would return to Myr together before seeking passage aboard a merchant ship bound for Lannisport.

Harlaw and Drumm are gifted the two best ships in the Iron Fleet by Lord Egen, in an attempt to win their favor. The raid in Essos ends up being a great success, with much gold and jewels plundered. He died childless, leading to a succession dispute. 249 AC: Upon learning of Vickon's death, Sigrun returns to Blacktyde to press her claim to the island. She easily takes control of Blacktyde Castle with her veteran crew of reavers and, with Sygarda's aid, convinces Frenya and her children to bend the knee by naming Falki her heir. They also accept to avoid the castle being claimed by her aunt Elara, who was still resented by her family for marrying Egen. Hearing of his sister's takeover and sensing an opportunity to return home, balon takes the trading ship from tarth and sails south instead of north, effectively stealing the ship, he sails through the south of dorne and up the sunset sea to blacktyde

240 AC - Elia who had grown fond of money and all the books it could buy quickly figured out easier ways to make money. She also started to adapt to the fact she would never fight at least not well.
244 AC - Arianne at the age of 16 could be said to be a powerful fighter , she could take on two trained levies single handedly. Elia however remained lost in the books.
250 AC - Elia arrived in Sunspear as her families envoy in the capital of Dorne whilst Arianne remained at home sharpening her spear and sword for any war to come.
Biography
Elia was a quiet child , quiet and reserved. This temperament of hers was obvious to anyone who payed a few moments of attention.
Elia enjoyed losing herself in books especially the less tragic ones and she quite enjoyed reading the biographies of some of the greater people to have lived.
Arianne was a rambunctious child who couldn’t be controller and thus her energy was channelled in to her training which forged her in to a mighty but reckless warrior of Dorne.
Elia began to indulge in some of the more theoretical and learned books hidden in Wyl and at every opportunity entered the libraries of other houses.
Elia grew in to a more modest woman though that was by Dornish standards she did not know how she compared to the ladies of the rest of the Seven Kingdoms.
Arianne was brash and rude and thus rarely let out of Wyl in fear of the diplomatic incidents that would ensue should she pursue a duel with some young heir or something similar.
Elia was no longer timid but had the confidence that a young lady should have , confidence forged by the fact she knew she had knowledge to support her. Arianne on the other hand was overly confident by nature and sought out a fight with any and all who would accept.

Lyonel is the firstborn son of Jaime and Tyana Lannister, coming into the world in the year 220 After Conquest. Not two moons later, unbeknownst to the young parents, another child was already on the way. Only a moon before his first nameday Lyonel became an older brother to Steffon Lannister. Four more siblings, including the twins Calla and Dalla, would join the family during the next ten years. Unfortunately, a fifth pregnancy with two babes at the same time proven too much for Tyana who died to birth them.
Lyonel had been an unashamed mother's boy throughout his childhood and took the loss almost as severely as his father, bringing them closer but giving Lyonel demons that he would soon enough drown out with drink. In the meantime he excelled in his martial pursuits while wholeheartedly ignoring the more academic studies beyond rudimentary comprehension so he did not look the fool in polite society.
Steffon was the exact opposite of his Andal twin, having an innate grasp of mathematics and engineering. Perhaps he would have become a Maester if he was not a Lannister. Instead he and Lyonel took to the seas as young men sailing up and down the coasts of Westeros and even to the Free Cities. The finest moment of Lyonel's young life was leading his house's ships and soldiers to war alongside the king when Myr picked a fight they were doomed to lose.
While the brothers were drinking in a tavern down by the quaside, their cousin Antario met his end when he was thrown from his horse journeying up to the Rock. Perianne Lannister, Antario's sister, was left with a stark choice: marry to secure her place as Lady of Lannisport or give it up for her uncle Quenten. Lyonel was the most appealing option for the first course of action so he was recalled and their union done without much pomp or circumstance to become the Lord of Lannisport. Day to day ruling he would leave to his new wife with Steffon lending his aid as Steward while Lyonel would assume responsibility for the military.

231 AC - Rosamund is born. Lady Eddra and Perianne barely escape a group of Ironborn who try to assassinate them.
232 AC - Birth of Leyla and death of her mother
235 AC - Eddra is found in her chambers on the ground, Lord Lannister becomes miserable and blames the Ironborn.
247 AC - Lord Arian Lannister of Lannisport dies at sea
248 AC - Antario becomes Lord of Lannisport. Lyonel leads the Lannisport Lannisters contingent sent to fight in the Stepstones due to his familiarity with Essos and martial predisposition.

“So End Our Foes”
Olyvar Trant barely remembered when he’d first heard those words, the words of House Trant. From the day his studies began, he’d pondered them constantly, even asking the maester what they meant, but the maester spoke many vague words that only confused Olyvar further. As he grew older, the words faded from his mind, replaced by his focus on training with the sword. It was one of the things Olyvar enjoyed most, the smooth flow of the blade through the air as he practiced his forms every day. He trained so hard that by the time he was sixteen years old, he was beating his eighteen year old brother in most of their sparring matches. When Olyvar was eighteen, his father drew steel in Lord Whitehead’s hall and was thrown in the dungeons for it. Olyvar led some men on a mission to free the Lord Trant but was caught and exiled to Essos by Lord Baratheon, with his father being executed.
Whilst Olyvar was on the ship to Braavos, a storm destroyed the ship and he was cast adrift on some rubbage. When the news made it back to Gallowsgrey, he was assumed dead. Instead, he was rescued a few days later by a pirate ship, who held him prisoner before selling him as a slave in Volantis. As a slave in the city, he worked as a corpse burner with a bone tattooed below his left eye, carting corpses away and burning them to avoid the spread of disease. One day, after several years, Olyvar was unfortunate enough to catch Greyscale from a diseased corpse and his masters, thinking him dead already, sold him cheap to a slave master of the fighting pits to be used as fodder against the champions of the arena. However, he found some success in the pits, putting his fighting skills to use and making something of a name for himself. He even fought alongside similar slaves condemned to the pits, with one named Dareo becoming his friend as they ate, fought, and slept alongside each other. After a couple moons, Olyvar’s greyscale stopped advancing for an unknown reason, leaving him noncontagious but with visible remnants of the disease across his face. Several moons later, his master offered him his freedom and 10 gold if he won this final match. But as he entered the arena, he was met by his friend Dareo standing across from him. Olyvar didn’t want to fight his friend but neither of them could turn down the promise of freedom as they engaged one another. It was a fierce few minutes but Olyvar emerged victorious. Despite the cheers and his new freedom, he couldn’t bring himself to celebrate.
Taking his gold, he bought passage back to Westeros, his slave tattoo now removed by the remnants of greyscale. When he returned to Gallowsgrey, he was met only by his twin sister, Lady Mary Trant, who could hardly believe he was really alive. Despite being asked of what happened in the years he was gone, Olyvar never answered, having become mute from the stresses of his trauma. While he was officially named Lord of Gallowsgrey, his sister continued ruling unofficially due to his inability to speak and constant hiding of his greyscale scarring. Lord Olyvar Trant still blames the late Lord Baratheon for the fate he endured in exile, seeking to fight until he finally understands his house words.

Gulian Stokeworth (50)
Melissa Redwyne (51)
Jeyne Stokeworth (30)
Cedra Stokeworth (26)
m. Ser Lucan Largent (35)
Geremy Stokeworth (24)
##Archetypes/Notable Characters:
Melissa Redwyne - The mistress of the household and Gulian's beleaguered wife. There was no one reason for their separation - just seven hundred, little things that piled up by the wayside. Perhaps she never got over leaving the Arbor or he was never forgiven for the measly, cheap ceremony he arranged for their wedding. Perhaps his dalliances - though never acknowledged by either - broke the back of their supposed love. Whatever the case, they each do their duty, loveless and needless, as she cares for her children in a way that he never could.
Ser Casper Stokeworth (General) - A towheaded cousin of the main Stokeworth line whose father, Donnel, distinguished himself enough for Gulian to take his son on as squire and, eventually, marry him to his eldest daughter - perhaps out of concern that Geremy, sickly in his youth, would not inherit. A rancid piece of shit and a damned fool, Casper is nonetheless clever enough at commanding men to remain a favorite in his father-in-law's court.
Jeyne Stokeworth (Scholar) - Gulian's eldest - and least favorite - Jeyne likely would have been sent to the Citadel if she had been a boy, assuming that Gulian would not like to keep the child as his heir. She is fantastic with numbers and lore and barely content enough with her marriage not to murder him. Of course, despite her cool appearance, she is desperate for her father's approval.
Ser Lucan Largent (Castellan) - A son of a vassal house and loyal knight for years, Lucan was a fair enough choice when the embarrassment Cedra caused them required them to marry her off as quickly as possible. Dull but effective, Largent is an able castellan and has served as such for a number of years.
Maester Cleyton (Medic) - The family maester, who is ancient these days, served his father before him and now serves Gulian now. Though forgetful these days, his ability to diagnose and treat most maladies has not left him, though occasionally for surgery he must summon assistance. A close friend of Lady Jeyne, having educated her in the finer arts of things.
Bors of the Wind (Master-at-Arms) - A surly, brutish old Sandy Dornishman that served a number of years in Essos before being brought back by Gulian after war between Tyrell and Hightower. Quiet, brutal, and efficient, Bors has been a loyal servant and violent killer for decades, though his graying hair betrays how old he has become.
##Timeline:
200 AC: Gulian is born to Adrian and Meredyth Stokeworth, amid the bicentennial celebrations of Aegon's Conquest.
210 AC: Adrian Stokeworth takes his place as a King's Man in court, briefly serving in an influential role and earning an engagement for his son, as well as securing a fostership with House Velaryon. His time of
212 AC: Gulian is squired out to Malentine Velaryon and fostered out to Driftmark. There, he develops a close attachment to House Velaryon and to the members of its household.
217 AC: After five years of fostering, Gulian is knighted and returns home. He is quick to find his father dying later in the year, making him Lord of Castle Stokeworth.
219 AC: Gulian hears word that Malentine Velaryon has been killed in the Stepstones and grieves heavily, retiring from tourney jousting.
220 AC: Gulian finally marries Melissa Redwyne, in a meager ceremony. Their first child, Jeyne, is born later in the year.
224 AC: Cedra is born, another girl, to Gulian's despair.
226 AC: Geremy is born, granting Gulian much relief and a male heir.
227 AC: Gulian is forced to war, commanding for the first time in proper battle and distinguishing himself.
240 AC: Jeyne marries Ser Casper Stokeworth, her father's former squire, in a clearly-arranged match that her mother protests.
245 AC: Cedra Stokeworth is caught in an indelicate situation with a servant, leading to Cedra being married off to Lucan Largent quickly to escape any shame for her house. The servant is sent to the Wall.

Benjicot Penrose (B. 205 AC) (Lord of the Parchments)
Timeline:
205 AC: Benjicot Penrose is born, the firstborn son of Lord Penrose. Amidst the Great Winter of 203 to 206 AC, he ends up being Lord Penrose' only surviving child. Benjicot never meets his mother, who dies a year later from the sickness brought about by the Great Winter of those years.
215 AC: At ten years old, Benjicot is sent to squire and ward under House Mertyns. With Lord Penrose looking to get closer relations with the Owl's Men, he entrusts Benjicot under the care of the Mertyns family.
221 AC: At sixteen, Benjicot Penrose first makes his appearance to the rest of the Stormlands at the Funeral of Lord Tommard. While his wardship will not end for another two years, he nonetheless takes this time to ingratiate himself with his fellow nobles.
224 AC: Now a full knight and with his wardship at an end, Benjicot Penrose participates in the tourney at Mistwood. However any achievement he gains is overshadowed by the drama of the day. Of course, he sided with the young Lord Mertyns during this time and supported them against the Wyldes regardless of the facts of that day
224 to 237 AC: In this decade, Benjicot Penrose does little of note. Although he ends up marrying a lady of the Targaryens of Summerhall. Still, Benjicot is only one of many who marries into the Targaryens of Summerhall over the years - and his marriage isn't particularly noteworthy. Still, that marriage produces three children - most notable of which is his daughter Jena, born in 226 AC.
240 AC: Lord Penrose dies. A combination of depression and gout ultimately brings the man down. Benjicot Penrose takes his place as Lord of The Parchments. His time will see him riding the coasts of the Stormlands to constantly assist against the pirate and slaver raids. A task that ultimately tires the man, but gives him precious command experience.
250 AC: A decade has passed since Benjicot's ascension. After his years of assisting with his brigades, the Lord of the Parchments has settled down into his home in the Stormlands. Yet with the bubbling chaos, he's ridden with his newly recruited hosts to aid his fellow Stormlanders and gather with them at Grandview.

TIMELINE(s):
210 - Lorren is born as the nephew to the then lord, Galeon Greyjoy. Largely he is a quiet child, choosing his own company those of his peers. He'd take to simpler things like drawing in his youth, something which his father thought unfitting for an Ironborn.
222 - Lorren is taken on his first reaving in Essos in an attempt by his father to strengthen the boy. At first, he has no true talent for it, more comfortable watching the more experienced men than partaking himself. But as time went on, he became more accustomed to the practice, having already killed more than ten men by the age of five and ten.
227 - Lorren is present for the death of his uncle Galeon, a loss he would mourn for some time. But not before being made bitter by the new customs sanctioned in by his cousin, the new lord Illin Greyjoy. Soon after which Lorren is betrothed to Wynnsom Wynch, who at first he quietly despised, but the two would grow close over the years. Wynnsom had unusual hobbies as well and the pair bonded over this.
231 - Decent runs rampant in The Iron Islands, lords calling for blood, and when denied it by their liege, they'd demand his instead. Lorren was not saddened by his cousin's death, though he had a mix of feelings regarding the new lord, Egen, who had called for a reaving shortly after his father's passing. Lorren didn't dwell on it however, if The Lord Reaper wanted a reaving then that is what he'd have. Lorren was among the party who burned the fleet at Lannisport, and later would earn himself something of a reputation whilst pillaging the lands of House Crakehall. When Egen called for the raids to end, Lorren obeyed and was promptly back home on Pyke with his wife.
235 - After several attempts to have children fail, Lorren and Wynnsom agree to stop trying as fears regarding her health start to arise. Around this time Wynnsom adopts a cat in attempt to cheer up her husband. It works, though he is not vocal about such things.
238 - Lorren hesitantly sails to war with the rest of The Iron Fleet, not wanting to risk his life over a conflict that had little concern with himself. But alas it was what The Lord Reaper ordered, and thus it was done. Whilst he was away, Wynnsom falls ill, which the healers believe to be a result of exposure to certain herbs and poultices. Upon his return, Lorren orders that a maester and drowned priest always be close at hand. He grows more distant from his family then, almost exclusively keeping company with his wife, their cat, and the few servants he had befriended over the years
250 - Lorren and Wynnsom remain on Pyke for the duration of the King's tourney and are largely absent from the following festivities on Pyke. Only recently deigning to emerge and socialize.

Biography
Myriame Snow was born to a milkmaid, fathered by some nobody son of a nothing branch of a noble house in the Neck. Her mother swore that it had been real love, and maybe it had, because her father acknowledged her, and sent enough paltry gifts their way to make life better for them than it was for most of their neighbors.
But a sickness took Myriame’s mother when Myriame was barely a woman newly flowered; and the gifts from her lord father dried up; and the friendship of neighbors eager to pump her mother for what they had turned quickly to envy, dark looks, and horrible rumors of promiscuity. So Myriame left home, wandered the Neck and the North until she was able to hook herself a lover who was big and mean and liked her well enough to ditch farming for his father and older brothers and run off with her.
He wasn't much of a thinker, her Benji, but he was strong, and he was good enough with an axe and a bow, and before long he'd gathered round them a band of ne'er-do-wells: the Bullfinches, they called themselves, because Benji was as big as a bull and Myriame could sing as prettily as a songbird. For close to a decade, the Bullfinches terrorized the North, until Benji took an unlucky spear in the gut.
It was a harrowing couple weeks, as the Bullfinches fell to infighting, each of Benji’s seconds staking a claim to leadership. But through guile–the liberal application of poison, blades in the night, and sexual favors–one by one the competitors fell away until only one was left: a lad nicknamed “Loon” who was willing to throw his weight behind Myriame, who started being called “the Cold Finch” due to her newly apparent conniving nature. Loon, who had become Myriame's new lover, pushed for this to become the more complimentary “Lady Cold Finch” based on her bastard status.
Myriame led the band south out of the North and into the Riverlands, which were rife with civil conflict. They had half a decade of good years, taking advantage of the strife to reap the rewards of violence. But those good years ended abruptly at the hands of the new Lord Grover Tully, who saw putting down the Bullfinches as an opportunity to establish his credibility as Lord Paramount of the Riverlands. He raised his banners and cornered the Bullfinches. In a bloody battle that cost Myriame her right eye, most of the band was wiped out, though Myriame (who was pregnant with Loon’s child), Loon, and a handful of bandits were captured alive.
Grover, seeing that Myriame was pregnant and maimed, offered a pardon, exiling the remnants of the band from his lands instead of executing them, with the command that they not return to the Riverlands without his express permission.
These were lean times. Only a few of the Bullfinches remained alive, and of those only a handful chose to stick around. They settled in the Neck near the ruins of Moat Cailin and picked a meagre sustenance through hunting and foraging in the swamps there. Myriame gave birth to a daughter, Wynafryd, and so in total they remained in place for almost two years, until Wynafryd was weaned and healthy enough to travel extensively.
At this point, Myriame and Loon decided to return to the only thing they were any good at: killing. Rather than pursuing banditry, however, they chose to pursue legitimacy. They called up some of their remaining Bullfinches and spread the word that the infamous Lady Cold Finch was starting up a sellsword company.
Once they had enough men, they secured a patron in House Dustin and launched themselves as the Cold Finch Cohort. Thus began two-and-a-half decades of modest business in the North, often supplementing Dustin forces in their conflicts with the Manderlys and Boltons or riding with the Starks’ band, the Hundred Axes.
During this time, Wynafryd (almost immediately christened “the Chick” by Lady Cold Finch’s followers) was raised in a sort of collective parenting situation. She wasn't neglected by her mother or father so much as she was adopted by a great collection of aunts and uncles. It was a rough-and-tumble childhood, with every adult in her life ready to impart some wisdom or skill or hard-knock lesson.
From the beginning, it was obvious that Lady Cold Finch and Loon considered the Chick the obvious eventual successor to leadership, but despite the affection of many of the cohort's members, this was far from apparent to the rest of the sellswords. Myriame had earned her reputation, but Wynafryd hadn't yet.
Thus, the Chick was most ferocious in battle, most liberal in her cups, most aggressive in her brawling. When the Cold Finch Cohort went to the Stepstones to fight for the North, she led almost recklessly, throwing herself into frays and coming out unharmed despite all odds. While this earned her friendships with Jonquil and Morgan Mooton, it also saddled her with a reputation for bloodthirstiness, and even her mother issued a private but stern warning that the cohort made battle for business, not for pleasure.
In the wake of King Daeron's feast, Lady Cold Finch received a message from none other than Grover Tully, requesting her to return to the Riverlands and come to Riverrun regarding a contract to, of all things, hunt bandits who were plaguing the Riverlands.

Rycherd Marbrand was born in 227, the third son of Lord Hendry the Lord of Ashemark and his wife Elinor Ambrose. Rycherd was not expected to inherit Ashemark, as when he was born he was the third son of the first cousin of Roland, the Lord of Ashemark. His father Hendry Marbrand was a proud man – a soldier made for the field of battle - who at times resented the fealty Ashemark owed to the Lannisters and what he regarded as their high-handedness.
When Rycherd was seven in 224, Ser Hendry, now the Castellan of Ashemark reluctantly allowed Rycherd to be fostered at Casterly Rock, while keeping his two elder sons, eleven year old Willem and nine year old Harys in Ashemark. Rycherd grew to know Maekar Targaryen, the son of the King who was seven years older than himself, also fostered at Casterly Rock. They were educated and trained in the arts of weaponry and war together under the tutelage of the twenty-four year old Tyrion Lannister, later the Lord of Casterly Rock. Rhaegar’s aunt, Alys, the younger half sister of Rycherd's father – older than Rycherd by eight years, and his elder sister Marilda by one year, were also warded in Casterly Rock. The fair Alys found herself the centre of attention of many of the young men of Casterly Rock, but it was Maekar Targaryen who captured her heart. In 226 AC Maekar was wed to Alys Marbrand at King's Landing, following a short betrothal made with the consent of his royal parents and the Marbrands both. In 228 AC Rycherd’s mentor Tyrion Lannister inherited the Rock after his father, Lord Tywalt, succumbed to an infection. In 229 AC Rycherd’s grandfather Ser Joffrey died, making Rycherd's father Hendry the castellan of Ashemark, heir to his cousin the childless Lord Roland Marbrand. It wasn’t long after, that Lord Roland himself died, making Ser Hendry the new Lord of Ashemark. Rycherd was an attendant at Lord Tyrion’s wedding to Sybelle Serrett the same year.
In 230 Lord Hendry’s eldest son and Rycherd’s eldest brother drowned in a clash with the Ironborn off the coast of Fair Isle to where he had gone to negotiate a marriage with the Farmans. Lord Hendry stricken with grief, declared his next son Harys, the Heir to Ashemark. This had been in response to Hendry’s eldest child Robert, a warrior twenty years of age declaring that he was the legitimate son of Hendry and that he should be the rightful Heir to Ashemark. Robert was the result of a youthful liaison with Naerys Bettley a young woman Lord Hendry had met at Casterly Rock in his youth, long before Rycherd’s birth. Robert was formally declared illegitimate at the demands of the Lady Elinor, Rycherd's mother.
In 231 the Ironborn attacked the West. Though Lord Tyrion continued to hold the Rock, he failed to protect Lannisport from being burnt by the Ironborn, along with swathes of the coastal Westerlands. So, at the age of fourteen, Rycherd had his first experience of war squiring for Lord Tyrion Lannister. Rycherd who had an unnatural hatred of the Ironborn due to his elder brother’s death at their hands was tasked with combating small groups of the Ironborn that had landed on the shores of the West. Rycherd hunted them down ruthlessly, sparing few. (Unscrupulous).
In 235 AC at the age of eighteen Rycherd was knighted by Lord Tyrion. He began to travel the Seven Kingdoms, as far north as the Wall and as far south as the deserts of Dorne. In 240 AC Rycherd fathered a son Philip by a Dornish mistress.
In 243 AC Rycherd’s elder brother Harys, the Heir to Ashemark died unexpectedly, leaving Rycherd as the new heir. His father granted him ‘Ash’, the Valyrian steel of his house: a great flamberge greatsword smoke grey and six feet long, banded with bronze and a mahogany handle. Rycherd began his training in learning to wield the great blade in combat (Two handed weapons)
In 248 AC Rycherd and a contingent of troops from Ashemark were amongst the large numbers of Westermen who set out as part of the Lannister fleet under the command of Lord Tyrion to remove the threat of the slavers raiding the coasts of the Stormlands and Dorne. The young Heir to Ashemark showed a natural inclination for raiding on many occasions deceiving the enemy (Cunning). His efforts in assaulting and pillaging the small settlements and outposts that dotted the countryside and outflanking small parties of the enemy (Flanking) in a weeks-long march towards Myr gained him the approval of Lord Tyrion himself. Rycherd took part in the siege of Myr helping in the assault on the city. Rycherd became involved in an altercation with a Dornish lord Lewyn Allyrion when he cast down the Dornish standard from the walls of Myr in favor of his own.
After Myr sued for peace, Rycherd resolved to return home to Westeros. Taking ship for the West, his ship was blown off course and he was shipwrecked off Lemonwood. Making his way northwards across Dorne, he was captured by Lord Dalt and turned over to Lord Allyrion of Godsgtace who had become Rycherd’s sworn enemy after the incident on the walls of Myr. Kept in captivity for nearly a year, Rycherd was finally freed, after news reached him that his father Lord Hendry had died and he was the Lord of Ashemark. Despite the efforts of his two younger brothers Gerion and Jon to rule Ashemark themselves and to prevent Rycherd returning, the payment of a ransom by Lord Tyrion Lannister and pressure from the King, who had acted after the intercession of Maekar Targaryen saw Rycherd finally released.
Returning to the West, Rycherd quickly repaired to Ashemark where he took control of his seat as the rightful Lord of Ashemark. He came to an accommodation with his brother Gerion who had been in dispute with Rycherd’s friend Walderan Lannett who had been attempting to administer Ashemark in Rycherd’s name after the death of their father. Jon Marbrand, Rycherd’s younger brother was harder to bring to heel. Eventually Rycherd’s mother Elinor, persuaded her youngest son to submit and brokered a peace between them. Rycherd appointed his half-brother Ser Robert Hill, the Bastard of Ashemark as Castellan.

Name and House: Ramsey Manderly
Age: 44
Cultural Group: Andal
Appearance: He appears much like a wandering wayfarer of old: a stout figure with a weathered face, framed by shoulder-length hair that tumbles in soft waves. His beard, full and neatly shaped, gives him the air of a woodsman or perhaps a traveling bard. He wears a rugged, dark-colored cloak, frayed around the edges, hinting at many miles traveled. Beneath this cloak, a simple tunic is visible, fastened at the neck with a cord or small clasp, lending a rustic charm. His gaze is pensive, as though he’s seen both the trials and wonders of distant realms, and his overall bearing suggests a quiet fortitude befitting a medieval wanderer or knight-errant.

Tall and lean, with an angular face framed by unruly chestnut hair, he carries himself with quiet confidence—though his ink-stained fingertips betray the scholar’s life he favors over martial pursuits. His life of petty thievery had led Will straight in to the painful embrace of the world of crime hidden in The Reach. He picked up skills here and there , by the age of thirteen he was good enough with the sword to protect himself though he would be helpless against any trained man.
Alastair Hill during one of his many journey’s to the Stormlands , Mistwood in particular. The old Crakehall had been travelling the Reach , Stormlands and CrownLands for more years than he liked to admit. Though the man had always maintained a certain standard of care for himself resulting in a full head of hair even in his old age.
Will had been recruited as assistance to Alastair as an attempt to stave off his eventual fall in to the world of crime , he had been working for a year before Alastair finally committed to taking him in as his squire.
Will’s two younger sister , Arwyn and Alynne were nine and seven now and continued to follow the squire and knight pair around.
By the age of 18 , Will managed to convince old man Alastair to join the Blackwater Brotherhood with him. Diving in to the depths of crime in hopes of wealth and fortune.
By the age of 19 , Will who had grown in to a more than capable fighter was officially knighted by Alastair or as he liked to call himself ‘ The Black Heart Knight ‘.
At the age of twenty , Will who had been a member for two years had gathered a reputation among the brotherhood and gave himself the moniker ‘ Garth Gardener ‘ though for any more serious matters he would use the title Knight Of The Lilac , named after his favourite flower. Alastair was basically Will’s father and Alastair didn’t reject the role.

214 AC: Hakkon was born on Skagos. His brother is stillborn, strangled in the womb. The process nearly kills his mother, the bloody affair is the talk of the island. A herd of unicorns is bled to thank the gods of the caves and rivers for this fortunate outcome, and their horns carved or crushed for children's baubles and herbwives’ remedies.
218 AC: Herryk is born at Kingshouse. His birth is not nearly as garrish as his elder's. He will forever grow in Hakkon's shadow, skulking and coveting what he does not possess the strength to take for himself.
222 AC: A great sacrifice is demanded by the shamanistic skagossons when a deep winter chill freezes the barren isles and traps them all aground. As summer blizzards rage and thin the baseborn and the peasantry, the noble sons of Skagos butcher criminals and bleed their livestock to satiate the thirsting, laughing maw of the old gods of the north. This experience forever jades Herryk, while Hakkon revels in the deeply communal aspects of their rustic folks’ spiritual expressions. He feasts well when their remains are thrown upon the pyre, and though he will never tower over the northmen he’ll meet on greener shores, Hakkon shall grow to be powerful and hewn from dragonglass, eating well and drinking deeply.
223 AC: A fierce melee draws the bravest and fiercest fighters of Skagos to the cavernous keep of Kingshouse. Men young and old wrestle with one another, fight barehanded, or exchange blows with live steel blades that leave them mutilated, scarred, and cackling with the rush of adrenaline. Such raucous activities draws the eye of Hakkon Magnar, and he learns to fight the Skagosson way: by brawn, by tooth, by will alone, seizing victory by the throat until his foes lay broken at his feet. What more of a life could a boy born on the hostile rock desire? 230 AC: The brothers Magnar took their first umbrage when a raiding party of frigid savages came sailing from Skane. From beyond the Wall did they come, with net and torch and axes to pry and steal what little the Skagos did not bear on their backs. No strangers to these were the true northmen, but stranger was the will of Lord Torek Magnar to see the young-bloods take up arms on their realm's behalf. He bid his sons cloaks of their father's house and a party of warriors tried and true to beat these brigands back into the depths.
The eldest son of Skagos split a man in twain with a single blow from his sword, sundering the will of his shield-brothers to fight that day. They flew to their ships in a great terror, coming to bear witness to their sails aflame and their crews afloat in the icy depths of the Bay of Seals. Herryk did cackle and laugh from the sea-cliffs as they dropped to their knees and begged for their lives, finding only the mercy of the Magnar: their heads were removed from their bodies, and their forms cut up and cast to the tides to be fish-feed.
The bards sung that Hakkon's appetite for battle was barely quenched that day, and he drank from the crimson tide dripping from his blade, thirsting for the war that never came.
234 AC: The reign of the Magnars is challenged by their peers. Their subjects - vassals by the southerner's ways - throw down the gauntlet at the aging lord of Skagos as it continues to see brigand and slave-makers land upon its shores, even while the seas are strewn with ice and storms, bleeding the island dry of its fighting men and meagre wealth. They come for unicorn pelts and skagossons to clap in irons, and some believe the time has come for the Starks to hear of this challenge. Others believe it was high time to take their handful of ships to Hardhome, to burn every village from Eastwatch. The Magnars believed their stand should be made here.
As kegs of ale are cracked open and the debate spills into shouting and brawling amidst the carousing of the gathered sons and daughters of the ancient isle, the brothers Hakkon and Herryk hear the whispered slights of their house's critics and rivals and demand they step forward. They deliver a scathing rebuke that insults their vassals and their retainers for cowering behind the walls of etiquette and propriety, and with spite frothing at their lips, reprimand their sluggish fighters, their lazing leadership, and the weak backbones of their family lines and their ancestors. The scathing flyting caused such uproar that three men died that night, one as their heart seized in laughter, one as their throat was slit open, and the other as flinging themselves to the sea. Reputedly.
237 AC: Famine has truly come to Skagos. The seas have barely begun to part and let ships sail for fisheries and foreign ports, and the greenery has only just begun to take root again on the barren isles. The game has gone thin, held back only by the punitive game wardens of Kingshouse. Poachers on pikes line the walls of the keep, displaying the price of insolence.
The peasantry ignored these warnings. They clamor at the gates, demanding change, demanding bread, demanding the blood of their lord for cowering behind his ferocious and cunning sons. Hakkon delivers the scathing rebuke of the law, beheading his fair share of rebellious men until he displays the most garish of insults to the dead: he butchers a man to his baser form, reducing him to gore and viscera with his trusted sword before a chafing crowd. It is said he tore flesh from bone with his teeth, spitting gristle in their faces and threatening to end the famine with man-flesh alone if they did not silence their uproar.
Such a display of barbarism was not taken lightly. Though efforts were made to alleviate the suffering of their charges with salted pork heads and sawdust bread, no further complaints were levied against the lords of Skagos.
240 AC: Growing old and weak did not suit the lord of Kingshouse. Lord Torek had begun to grow weak in his old age, his muscles fading as his hair slivered and grayed. He did not want to go meekly when his death came, and yielded his seat to his eldest son, Hakkon. Torek would remain a ruler in his own way, counseling the young man alongside the more subtly cunning Herryk in matters of statecraft, faith, and war.
Lord Hakkon was a harsh lord, nicknamed the Wintersbreath for his arrival at the conclusion of Skagos’ little ice age that had seen the land blanketed in snow and frozen over. He dealt a draconic hand to lawbreakers, beheading thieves, burning witches, and running predators through with pikes.
Hakkon placed a great deal of privileges and responsibilities upon his younger brother. He was one part steward, one part bailiff, and his left hand in war. Where Hakkon was the anvil, Herryk would be the hammer. He chased Tyroshi slavers off of Skane, herded wildlings into the Bay of Seals, and negotiated an end to piracy on the Shivering Sea behind the implied threat of cannibalism.
He never grew soft, or comfortable. Hakkon was a warrior first, and a ruler second. The man has yet to take a wife, believing few were strong enough to handle his intensity, nor could he be a proper father with his scathing tongue and raucous appetite for adrenaline and amusement. Had he learned of Westeros’ war across the Narrow Sea, he might have left all of Skagos to fend for itself, just to chase the perfumed men of Essos into the Disputed Lands at the head of a war-host. His blissful ignorance ushers a reprieve from the bloodlust of yesteryear as life returns to the barren island with the thaw of spring.
248 AC: A grand ship ran aground, caught in a fog and staggering against the craggy rocks of the Skagosi coastline. It spoke the queer tongue of Ib, and only a handful of its sailors knew the common tongue. But they were brought before the lord of Skagos, fed bread and salt under their roof as is the northman custom, and bid to give news of the world abroad as they understood it. Whalers were these men of Ib, and their hold was laden with a great leviathan dragged from the depths by harpoon and barbed spear. Hakkon was impressed by this feat, but he was most taken back by the word of war with Westeros.
The seven kingdoms had cut their teeth against pirates and hired fighters of the Free City, and worst of all, left their realm behind. Hakkon deemed this unacceptable, and sent out his dear brother with their trusted retainers across the bay to seek word from the other provinces and see what state the wolves of Winterfell found themselves in.
250 AC: Herryk returned with news from abroad of a divided north, of factions positioned on either side of White Harbor headed by the great northern houses. He spoke of the deepening fractures as bannermen challenged the lords of Winterfell at seemingly every step. He painted Stark’s enemies as opportunists, skirting the edge of the law and preying on their insecurities.
Hakkon was satisfied with this tale, and announced at once to all of his subjects that he would break the isolation of Skagos and usher in a new age for the skagossons - glory to the stoneborn, honor to the cave-dwellers, and above all - an end to hunger.

Starting Title(s): Lady of Bear Island
Starting Location: Bear Island
Born in 229 to Lord Yonah Mormont of Bear Island and Lady Alarra Umber more than 20 years after their marriage. Many northerners find the warmth of family to be their refuge against the cold of their lands, but this was not the case for the heir of Bear Island. She seldom saw her father, with him being out at sea aiding the fishing fleets or patrolling the bay of ice for wildlings and ironborn, while her Mother was consumed by a deep melancholy that cemented a distance there as well. While her close family could offer the young girl little in the ways of companionship, she was saved from her loneliness by her Uncle Hoarfrost Umber and Maester Manfryd, the first with the simple joys of family, games and songs, while the latter nurtured her talent for numbers while also being a window to the wonders of the wider world.
After her mother's health began to wane, she became acquainted with Maester Manfryd's daughter and assistant, Helicent, and a deep admiration and eventual friendship was born. The loss of her mother after years of struggle left Alysanne adrift, trying to navigate her grief along with her relationship with the sudden return of her father as a regular figure in her life, a task made all the harder by the addition of her bastard brother Jeor to the Mormont household barely a year after her mother's death. While a great distance had grown up between Father and Daughter during his long absence a balm for this old wound was a newly discovered shared love of the sea and sailing. When not at her lessons with Maester Manfryd learning first the running of a household and, with the passing of her mother, the duties and skills of an heir, she would be prowling the quays and markets of the small port below Mormont Keep. From the Maester she learned the finer points of Lordly 'copper counting', the merchants in their stalls taught her how to bargain for sweets and trinkets, while her father showed her how to maintain and repair the fishing skiff they would spend their leisure days in, sailing the coast and bays of Bear Island. This joy was soured somewhat by the presence of her brother. A man grown by the time he joined the Mormont household and began training with axe and shield, neither could bridge the difference between the other and soon both stopped their mummery at sibblinghood.
When Hoarfrost returned from the stepstone campaign with a Braavosi shipwright she found an excellent escape from the growing tension brewing at the Mormont keep, in learning the details of the new braavosi shipbuilding techniques Terro the Braavo brought with him. With what time was not spent in lessons or increasingly awkward family dinners, she endeavored to find ways to adapt the new designs without need for the mighty dry docks and workshops of the faraway arsenal. The death of her father ended any such endeavors. Lost to the sea, the loss of the final member of her immediate family struck harshly and left her melancholy and withdrawn. Unable to seek solace with the sea as before, Alysanne turned her gaze to the land and sky. Ranging amidst the deep woods of Bear Island and the mountain villages she felt, she could better feel the comfort of the old gods than in the Mormont godswood, surrounded by grief and duties. During one of her sojourns she found a wounded hawk, and after caring for it, she took up falconry and began accompanying some of the household hunts. Seeking a way to distract his young charge, Maester Manfryd began teaching her the paths of the stars and the maester's way of calculating their journey. The hours pouring over her amateur star charts and double-checking calculations was both an escape from well-wishes and any chance of meeting her 'brother'. Much like her lessons had given some small glimpse of the wonders of the world, this study enkindled a deep love of the stars.
With the end of her regency came the end of her distractions in the face of duty. Her father's work with the Mormont fleet had secured the bay of ice in ways seldom seen, and with her ascendance Alysanne sought to capitalize on this by drawing in trade with the promise of safe waters and an easier western port in the north than navigating the rivers of the rills and barrowlands. Her efforts were often stymied and sabotaged by malcontents that believed that, bastard or not, Jeor being taken in by his father was meant to show Yonah's approval of him as heir. Jeor had not spent the years of the regency idle, sowing the seeds of discontent, whispering of how an unwed and withdrawn lady would not be able to lead in such troubled times, a proper Mormont shieldmaid perhaps, but not a bookish copper counter. The tensions came to a head in late 249 when a wildling raiding force is spotted on the banks of the Ice River and Hoarfrost mustered a good number of the household guard to scatter them. With many of her strongest supporters away, Jeor and his co-conspirators see their opportunity and strike. But in the chaos of the initial attack they only secures for them the Motte, while the Bailey gate holds strong under the command of Jeor the Thornbush. A friend to Yonah for decades and name-sake to Jeor many of the usurpers assumed that they would be able to easily sway the ornery old castellan. They were gravely mistaken, and after holding out under siege for nine and ten days the Mormont fleet returned. Alysanne took her first life swinging the headsman's axe before the Mormont heart tree, executing over four and twenty, but at least she escaped becoming a kinslayer as Jeor had fallen in the fighting to retake the Motte.
At last holding full mastery of her demesne, Lady Mormont turns her gaze fully to the chaos of the mainland, praying that like so many Mormonts before her she will be able to serve well, even without the taste for blood that has marked many a she-bear lady in the past. As she musters her forces she sees also that her court is in many ways as much an inheritance from her father as her seat, with many greybeards serving as her closest advisors. If her ambition of an enriched Bear Island is to ever see the light of day she must succeed in her efforts to reconnect with the mainland and beyond that establish ties beyond.

Appearance: Named for the beauty after which her birthplace is called, Jonquil lives up to that legacy. She is a bit of a harsh beauty, to be true, but a beauty all the same. Back in her youth, that pretty visage was matched with a winning smile, but over the last five years, it has faded and faded, replaced by glares and scowls. Her hair is brown, mainly, though flecks of red can be seen in the right lighting, and flows like water from her head. The Lady Regent is tall, an inch taller than her only son, and dresses in fine fabrics when presiding over the lands of House Piper - and fine steel when defending them. Since her youth, Jonquil has trained how to fight, and her body's muscles and scars show it. She accompanied her husband to war in the East, and where he perished, she survived, never letting Maiden’s Dance leave her side since she picked it up from his still-warm body.

Name and House: Erich Baratheon
Age: 20
Cultural Group: Stormlander
Appearance: Black of hair and blue-eyed. What more could be said of a Baratheon? To the eye of any beholder, it is plainly clear that Erich is a wastrel. He’s seldom seen without a cup in hand rather than the tools that knights ply their trade with. He trades japes and jests with ease, betraying no impression past that of an amusing, if foolish, distraction from matters of more import. The cup-given oblivion he follows has, bafflingly, led to less drinking of late.
Trait: Inspiring
Skill(s): Animal Tamer (e), Flanker (e), Cunning, Tactician [Moon 3]
Talent(s): Drinking, dicing, dithering, anachronistic soccer
Negative Trait(s): Dumbass
Starting Title(s): Scion of House Baratheon, Ser
Starting Location: Storm's End
Alternate Characters: Edric Stark
Name and House: Raymund Morrigen
Age: 43
Cultural Group: Stormlander
Appearance: Sharp eyed and with a nose resembling the beak of his house's crow.
Trait: Hale
Skill(s): 2HW (e), Outrider, Brute [Moon 4]
Talent(s): Fishing x3
Negative Trait(s): N/A
Starting Title(s): Commander of the Garrison
Starting Location: Storm's End
207 AC: Raymund Morrigen is born a cousin to the main Morrigen line.
227 AC: Raymund participates in the war against pirates, and the storming of Ghaston Grey. Proving his valiance, he finds a place as a retainer in Storm’s End.
230-236 AC: Brus Baratheon and Gael Targaryen welcome a long-awaited child into the world, and name him Erich. Not for long; Gael passes away on the birthing bed, and Brus dies some months later after being kicked in the head by a stubborn stand steed. Erich is raised by Storm’s End’s wetnurses.
232 AC: Having been a household knight for some years, Raymund Morrigen becomes a sometimes-Castellan of Storm’s End, then finds purchase as the Commander of the Garrison. Over time, he becomes a close associate of later appointments: Cleoden Fell, who served ever-more frequently as Castellan, and Thurgood Cole, master-at-arms and dubber of many a callow boy.
241 AC: Erich starts squiring for Lord Jon Swann. It soon becomes clear that the boy is indolent, not at all given to martial pursuits.
248 AC: Erich is knighted. Returning to Storm’s End, he starts gambling with the common soldiery. After a lucky dicing streak, several of the household knights find themselves indebted to him. Lord Daric frowns on such behavior; Erich finds his rooms being ‘renovated’ and is cast out of the castle. He goes to catch a boat to the Stepstones, but finds that the war’s mostly concluded—instead, he finds Lucantine Manning on the docks, and the two quickly strike up a friendship.
249 AC: Erich lives life as a hedge knight. He attempts to join the Order of the Seven-Branched Tree, but continues gambling and drinking among them till he’s turned away. He meets Quent Quarterchain on the road.
Early 250 AC: Daric Baratheon passes. His Three (Morrigen, Cole, and Fell) grow uneasy, fearing they might be replaced with the change in lordship.
6th Moon, 250 AC: Erich arrives in King’s Landing too late for the tourney and too drunk by half to sign up for it. He goes back to Storm’s End.
7th Moon, 250 AC: Grance dies, Tyrion dies, and Erich’s hopes of meaningless carousing die. His drinking is tempered by drills and training.
8th Moon, 250 AC: Present. Mary Tarth is named Lady Regent. Raymund Morrigen, Cleoden Fell, and Thurgood Cole convene to discuss their future.
Bryce Fell (General), 19: The son of Cleoden Fell, and a frequent gambler as well.
“Red” Joffrey Wagstaff (General), 20: Erich’s childhood friend. No one knows why he’s called Red Joff, but the name stuck.
Lucantine Manning (Master-at-Arms), 22: The only one of Erich’s friends to see combat. Luc joined in on the Stepstones war in its conclusive stages, and saw the tail end of a skirmish with pirates.
Quent Quarterchain (Medic), 27: Previously an acolyte at the Citadel, Dolorous Quent could not afford to continue his studies, so took to being a hedge wizard. Met Erich during his hedge knight days.
Alynne Storm (Huntswoman), 20: A former lover of Erich’s. It’s a small wonder that Alynne sticks around at all, though the quarry in Baratheon lands seems enough to keep her busy.
Vermithor, the Prawns' Fury (T1 Canine): Vermithor is a spirited dog, a bane to all sorts of krill, oysters, prawns, and shrimp.
Daric’s Three (other than Raymund):
Cleoden Fell, 45: Oft-castellan, Cleoden Fell fancies himself the ringleader to the Three, and follows the spirit of House Baratheon almost religiously.
Thurgood Cole, 38: Master-at-arms until a few months before Daric’s death, then relegated to tax collection. Thurgood is overambitious and twice as uncouth.
