Hey INAT! I'm working on something that I'm really excited about - a 3D browser-based social game where players can hang out, play games, and even make money by creating and selling their own items.
I'm the developer behind a new game called Maki Chat (which hit $2.5k in donations + $740/month on Patreon in just over 2 months! https://www.patreon.com/MakiChat), and I'm using a lot of the proven tech from that project to make this one happen. The core programming is almost done - now I need someone awesome to bring the world to life!
What I'm picturing:
Here's what makes this different from your typical rev-share project:
I'm looking for someone who's as excited about this as I am and can commit to consistent work. Most indie projects fail because teams fall apart - I don't want that to happen here. I've got the programming covered, and I need someone who can own the art direction and bring this world to life.
We'll be launching fast and early, getting feedback, and building this together with our community. If you're interested in creating something that could really take off (and making good money doing it), let's talk!
Drop me a message with your portfolio and let me know what gets you excited about this project. Looking forward to chatting!
Hello everyone! You can just call me Rat. I am a freelance artist and illustrator with 3+ years of commissioned character illustration experience. I’m looking to put together a team for a RPG Maker MZ game project, preferably one that won’t take too long or require too much time commitment.
-Looking for:-
• 2D artist(s) for sprites and map artwork (pixel or non pixel, no preference either way)
• 2D background/environment artist
• Someone with RPG Maker (preferably MZ) experience to assist
• Level designer
• Game designer
-Why RPG Maker?-
Well, the simplest answer I can give is that I’ve had the engine for years and have yet to be able to produce a single finished project with it, and I’d like to do so at least once. I’ve come to terms with the fact that making a project all by myself is too overwhelming for me personally, and building a team is the best way to go about this. I know my way around the engine and I think it is a good fit for the project in mind.
However, I am fully up for moving this project to a different engine and switching from 2D to 2.5D/3D if someone with that experience is interested in taking on that part of the project.
The idea is a casual, “cozy” game with a horror game aesthetic.
-What exactly does this mean?-
Think of the average art direction and design for a horror game. Filthy settings with grime staining the walls and floors. Scary monsters around every corner. Dreary rooms with chains on the ground and a single flickering light bulb hanging from the ceiling. Being a single weak human in a world full of ghosts and ghouls. Except, it’s not a horror game.
The game will focus on casual, low stress tasks like befriending the various personalities you meet, collecting trinkets, obtaining furniture to decorate your space etc. But all of it comes with a horror game aesthetic. A game that is not meant to be stressful and scary, but can perhaps be a bit charmingly unsettling just from the nature of how your environment and friends look.
As a 2D artist, I can provide illustrations, character design, and concept art. I am also up for working on setting up all the coding and creating systems for the game, though having another person to assist would be a huge plus. Having extra team members who are more skilled in places I lack experience in is definitely desirable in general. Being an expert or professional is obviously not a requirement, as I myself am not an expert on anything. Ideally this is a small project to help other hobbyists have something to put onto their portfolio
If you have any questions or are interested in working together, please DM or find me on Discord via my portfolio link provided here! Portfolio- WetRat
Hi everyone,
I’m working on a project that involves creating an adventure map inspired by this image. I’ve been told that creating such a map is way too difficult, and I’d love to get some feedback from this community.
Here’s what I’m aiming for:
From my perspective, I feel like the hardest part is creating the assets (e.g., terrain, trees, buildings), but once those are ready, the rest should primarily be layout and design. I’ve been told this is very difficult, so I’m trying to gauge the reality of it.
I’m looking for something simple to start with, but polished enough to build interest in the project. If you have experience with similar work or are interested in collaborating, feel free to let me know! Please email me at support@drawcodegames.com
Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions!
Hi all,
As the title states - I am looking for art and sound help (from two separate people very likely) on a hobby project. Posting here in case anyone is interested before I just tackle them myself to the best of my limited abilities :)
I have a few folks that reached out from my last post for music and will follow up with all of you soon! Feel free to reach out for music as well but I am primarily looking for art and sound here.
I have a solid but rough around the edges prototype for a game that is slightly larger in scope than a game-jam game for practice and portfolio. I am not much of an artist or sound guy so if there are people getting started in those areas that would like the practice of producing that content for a specific game and the reward of seeing it in action please reach out.
As I said it is fairly simple and arcadey but here is the elevator pitch: Escort a physics-based rolling ball in 2d space by drawing platforms with your mouse. Keep it within the travelling camera, avoid several types of obstacles, collect pickups to gain power ups/ abilities as difficulty ramps up and events occur. All of those elements change or are generated semi randomly/procedurally each time.
Here is a link to a very rough recording of some of the gameplay/mechanics/abilities. Reminder this is an early prototype with bare minimum mechanics, UI, placeholder assets, etc. from a couple days work.
https://youtu.be/hh-6kIkJEeo
I plan to release the game for free as it is more of a quick learning experience. The theme/ art direction is still very flexible and while the game is played in 2d, I am using 3d placeholder assets currently so either skillset is fine for art and you have a lot of agency. In terms of what art I am actually looking for this can range from concept/ main screen/ splash art, art for the ball pawn obstacles and pickups, as well as background. The music is of course a little more self-explanatory but it is arcadey/ infinite so something to fit that vibe that also loops would be what I am thinking. For sound I will most likely just use a bunch of free sounds but if someone does want to mess around with that here there are plenty of pickups, abilities, and different collisions that will need sound.
Thanks!
Hello.
I'm a Uni student and make games as a hobby since 2018, I'm looking for a 2D artist to work with in long term and make games together, not just this project.
I'm mostly a programer but also do some little bit of 3D art, like shaders and models.
Right now, I'm working on this game with Unity engine.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3122450/Cenk_The_Chopper/
It's a simple Third Person, Hack and Slash, Character Action game.
You kill stuff in a stylish way, you get points out of it, you buy new moves with those points and them finish levels with high score and fast as possible. Similar to games like DMC and UK but I adding my own taste too. You can look at the link for more info, and even play the beta.
I worked on this projected alone so far. Except for 2D art on the capsule and UIs. I have an old friend who did it, but we split our ways, because he started wanted focus on his art school fully.
Since my current game is 3D there isn't insane 2D assets needed, but when It does I can't put something good. I'm open for new ideas and games we can do.
I'm looking for someone who can do:
So, If you are interested and want to collaborate, you can just DM me.
Hi everyone,
My name is Almog, and I’ve been working solo on Nylos, a physics-based puzzle platformer, for the past three years. I plan to finish the game within the next year and am currently in talks with publishers. To speed up development, I’m looking for a talented 3D artist to join me in bringing the game’s world to life.
Here’s a YouTube video showcasing Nylos to give you a feel for the style and gameplay.
I need help with:
It’s important that your art can match Nylos’ current visual style.
Nylos features unique puzzle mechanics like gravity zones, object resizing, and quantum linking. Your work will directly shape the game and its appeal. While I don’t have funding right now, I’m actively working with publishers, and this is a revenue-share collaboration.
If you’re interested, message me here or on Discord (almog1752) with:
This is a passion project that’s on the brink of completion, and I’d love to collaborate with someone who shares the same drive to create something amazing.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Cheers,
Almog
A pixel artist who wants to partner up with an experienced programmer to make a classic RPG with online multiplayer gameplay elements.
It is a revshare situation where I'd be happy to work out any kind of contract/agreement to ensure you get compensated when the project reaches a point of revenue, no matter how small.
You'll ideally have a passion for SNES-era RPGs or modern variants such as Secrets of Grindea, Sea of Stars, Sun Haven & Chained Echoes to name a few. Art wise my desired guidelines are most similar to the latter, I'll link the document for art guidelines at the bottom of this post.
I essentially imagine a combination of A Link to the Past, modern RPG features, dynamic world and online gameplay community.
Like in any RPG you chose your class, kill monsters to gain experience and levels, gather loot and powerful equipment to improve your capabilities, explore the world, progress the story and whatnot.
The world will be set hundreds of years after a dark powerful entity and his undead armies conquered the world, bringing death and destruction everywhere. Where there was once three dominant factions and peace in the lands, there is now nothing but ruin.
You awake in the underworld being introduced to the backstory, introcuded to gameplay mechanics and eventually being given a second life and return to the world.
And that's where it'll begin. I should add a disclaimer that I'm not a great writer, so I'm happy to change things up to your satisfaction!
Look, I'll be straight. I'm not an "idea guy" and I'm not looking for others to do the majority of the work. I'm a seasoned hobbyist game developer who's spent ~20 years developing content & systems for another 2D online game notoriously known as "Graal Online", and I got fed up with not making something real out of it.
I know my way around networking and the issues that arises with client <> server communication thanks to those years and have already created a client & separate server of my own to get us started.
In terms of features I've already implemented, here are some of them:
If that's not all, I already have a community with at the time of writing 117 members who's following the journey.
I've done some market research and would say yes, very much so.
There are very few competitors out there and the one(s) I'm primarily following are free to play, sitting with 1-5M downloads on iOS despite fairly mixed reviews. One of these competitors recently launched on Steam and has a revenue between $100-150k with less than 200k downloads from purely in-game cosmetics despite having minimal and very lackluster content. Said game also has "Mixed" reviews on Steam.
If this sounds appealing at all, please message me either on Reddit or add me on Discord as "maaarcus87"

We are not open to commission, this is a rev share.
We have a prototype of a game here.
We are a small team of 6 people working on a retro top down 2D monster collecting game. We have been working on the game for one and a half years and are looking for an additional designer to help us. Currently we have one designer.
The game is heavily based on Pokemon, but features some new ideas. You can see our first two dev logs here and here or checkout some art from the game on twitter. We are using Unity, Tiled and Aseprite.
Our work style is setting milestones every few months and planning the tasks we want to finish by then and assigning them to each person to work through when they have time. Team communication is through discord and we use Clickup to track tasks.
Professional experience is not required but without a portfolio of some kind it is really hard to get an idea of you work. Working with the other designer you will work on designing monsters, stat balancing, creating moves, characters, maps and the story. You will also be required to test the game and check features are functioning correctly.
There are no set time requirements per week and we understand this is a revshare and not your full time job, but we are looking for someone who can continously contribute to the project until we release and not someone who is free for a few months.
Minimum Requirements:
- Basic understanding of game design
- Past work to show game design experience (can be hobby, school project or professional)
- Can contribute to the project long term (6 months or more)
Desired Skills
- Experience with Unity/Tiled
- Experience writing design documents for features
- Interest in Pokemon or similar games like Dragon Quest Monsters/Digimon
Feel free to ask any questions you have if you are interested or join our discord server
Hey all, I was hoping to find a someone or a few people to collaborate on my mob/mafia themed top down RPG game. I want there to be a heavy focus on dialogue and decision making and turn based combat when it arises. I was taking a heavy inspiration from Colony Ship for those familiar.
At the moment I am primarily looking for writers and level designers. I need someone who wants to craft an engaging world. I am a relatively experienced Unity programmer. I know where my strengths lie, and I am lacking in writing and world building. I want to create a world and an engaging story that will give the player many chances to make decisions. If you have talents in other relevant areas (3d modeling, sound and music engineering) and are interested, feel free to reach out, but I am primarily focused on getting a good gameplay demo.
The real strength of my game at the moment is the dialogue system. I have fully customized it and want to take advantage of it. It can be easily added on to and expanded.
I have a link to a short demo of what I have been working on. I hope it gives an idea of what I am aiming for. Ignore the errors!
I have this marked as hobby because I understand the reality of indie game development, but if it ever got to the point of having a full release it would obviously become Rev share.
I hope to hear from you!
Hello!
My name is Vittorio, and I’m a freelance sound designer with a passion for creating immersive and impactful audio experiences. I’m currently looking for exciting new opportunities where I can apply my skills to help elevate your projects.
With several years of experience in the industry, I’ve had the pleasure of working on a variety of projects, including the horror FPS Beneath by Camel 101 and the VR fantasy game Blade and Sorcery. Additionally, I’ve contributed to numerous indie games, each providing unique challenges that have helped me grow both technically and creatively.
My expertise extends beyond sound design to include audio implementation using industry-standard middleware such as FMOD, Wwise, Unity, and Unreal Engine. This means I can integrate dynamic and adaptive sound systems into your game to enhance the overall user experience. Whether you need sound effects for weapons, gore, vehicles, explosions, magic, environments, or anything else, I am capable of creating high-quality, custom sounds tailored specifically to your project’s needs.
I pride myself on being versatile, adaptable, and skilled in creating a wide variety of sounds, from realistic foley to fantastical creatures and atmospheric environments. I can work with you to ensure the sound design aligns perfectly with your creative vision, contributing to an engaging and immersive experience for players.
You can check out my portfolio here: https://vsommatino.wixsite.com/vsommati. If you’re interested in collaborating, feel free to reach out via DM or on Discord at vsommati.
Please note: I only accept paid work, with rates ranging from €25-30/hour, depending on the project scope and requirements.
Let’s create something amazing together!
Hi, I am a 19 year old student from Serbia and I am looking to join a Unity dev team and make something special! I have released a game to iOS and Android as a solo dev; it's called Mazify and it has garnered a 4.9 star rating on 1000+ downloads. I have also achieved #37 overall in Brackey's Game Jam 2024.2, out of over 1000 submissions. Here you can check out my entire portfolio: https://www.devotegames.com/portfolio
I am an ambitious developer with a goal of expanding my skillset. I can complete many different parts of the development process, from programming and game design to shaders and simple 3d modelling. I'm experienced with publishing on mobile and implementing in-app purchases and mediated ads, but I am more than open to working on PC games too.
I am open to any form of payment, we can come to an agreement even if you have a pretty small budget. And I guarantee I will devote all of myself to your project!
Hi there! I'm part of a team midway through a game jam and we could use more help with art! We're all just doing this for the experience and the love of the game. I've been in creative work for a while and did a jam earlier this year. You can see some of my work here: https://ryanswriter.carrd.co/#
There are 5 other contributors to the team: 3 other artists, 1 other programmer, and 1 composer/sound designer. Everyone is excited about the idea, but has limited time to contribute so we are looking to spread out the workload some more. As far as gameplay, there are elements of dungeon crawlers, visual novels, and chase/maze horror games. Themes include the difficulty but importance of remaining hopeful in dark times, as well as the role AI plays in our fear of mortality and lost legacy.
We're doing the Polar Expedition RPG Jam, which ends 12/23. The working title is “Souls of Europa”, and the short concept is this: The player is shipwrecked on a hostile moon haunted by a menacing, cold being. The being freezes people from the souls outward, requiring the player to keep their fellow castaways' hope and humanity intact through psychic healing, or lose them to the being's influence. It's a horror-heavy down-to-earth tone with bits of aesthetics from Treasure Planet and Alien.
We're in need of people who can do traditional art for CGs, and/or pixel art sprites, and/or UI elements. Any of those will be helpful. Some of our character concepts can be found here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-tHST3hNeRwYUmy9MoEqo6kMbz-_vtK2?usp=sharing
If you're interested, PM me here, thanks!
Hello there!
I’m a freelance composer looking to collaborate on some exciting new projects. With several years of experience composing music for films and games, and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK, I am confident that I can add real value to your project. You can listen to some of my work here: www.jashields.com/showreel
I’ve been an avid gamer my whole life, and I’m passionate about video games and the stories they tell. Whether your project is a platformer, an epic RPG, or something entirely different, I’d love to help bring it to life with music that enhances and elevates the experience. Whether you’re part of a large team or a solo developer, let’s discuss how I can contribute to your vision!
While I am seeking paid work, I understand that budgets can be tight for smaller developers or hobby projects. If you think we’d be a good fit, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, and I’m sure we can find a way to collaborate.
I look forward to working with you!

For the past half year or so, the game RubbleRousers has been my brainchild.
As a child, I loved virtual pet games, from Neopets to Wolf Play to Lioden to Howrse. What always surprised me, however, was that there was no such game for cats, which were (and are) far and above my favorite animal.
Plenty of years later, I'm now a student in software development with plenty of frameworks under my belt. While working a particularly uninteresting dev job, the idea came to mind: Why not make that game my childhood self always dreamed of?
Mixing this idea with some of my other interests, here's what I came up with: A virtual pet site where players, alongside their clowder of feral cats, must strive to survive in a post-human world, ravaged by a zombie apocalypse. I aim to mix elements of survival games with the traditional petsite formula.
Half a year later, I've made significant leaps and bounds. Here is what I have:
- A fully-fledged cat genetics simulator, made with the help of a local expert on the subject. This includes all the basic sprites for the game as well. Play it here, but note that it is quite slow (sprite generation is run on a cheapy AWS server)
- Professional graphic design in Figma for multiple core pages of the website
- Some art and promotional material
- The bare bones of a website, including a dynamic database and registration system. A lot of the basic backend is fully built, but the frontend is struggling
This is why I'm here. I will admit that, when starting this project, I vastly overestimated my own front-end dev experience. While Typescript is a breeze, HTML and CSS have stood as significant barriers for me.
As such, I will introduce who I am, what I can offer, and what I am in need of.
Who I am:
My name is Finch, it's nice to meet you! I'm a Computer Science student in the Midwest USA. Most of my experience is in C# backend. I am also an experienced project manager. I plan on providing the structure of the project, as well as the backend programming. So far, I have been working on RubbleRousers on my own, and I've had a great time! Most of what I have to offer is programming experience on the backend, as I've said. As such:
What I am looking for:
I really hope I've interested you in my project so far! Here is what I am looking for in a team:
- Frontend developer(s) experienced in Angular. I am happy to code in all the Typescript, but I need Bootstrap, CSS, and HTML experience
- Character artist(s) (If you're a warrior cats artist, or were when you were younger, this is absolutely the project for you!)
- Environmental artist(s) / Background artist(s)
- UI/UX designer(s) (You will be working off of the designs of the professional designer I have already worked with in the past)
- Item artist(s)
- Promotional artist(s)
- Graphic designer(s)
- Social media manager(s)
The current plan for the game is to build up a basic demo before releasing a Kickstarter. A ton of progress has already been made, so we're already well on our way to getting there!
This will be a RevShare project. You will be paid from the Kickstarter, if it succeeds.
Long story short? INAT!
Interested? Send me a DM!
Hi,
We’re currently creating a dark high fantasy RPG. I started this project a few months ago, and so far, we've made great progress.
The main premise of the game is that the player takes on the role of a Witcher-like monster hunter in a world cursed by dark magic and overrun by monsters and the undead.
The player was initiated into a monster hunter group at a very young age. During their initiation, these hunters are infused with the same dark magic that curses the land. This gives them exceptional dark magic powers but also corrupts their souls. The player will fight through dungeons and ravaged lands to find the source of this curse.
This is the Witcher meets divinity2.
Our current team includes me as the lead programmer with about eight years of experience, another programmer, a composer, a project manager, 2 narrative writer, a gamedesigner, a 3d artist and 3 2d artists.
We’ve got a point system in place for revenue sharing, so you’ll earn based on how much work you put in if we generate income. But if you're just in it for the money, this project is not for you. It’s mainly a passion project, though we do plan to make money with it, we are all big fantasy fans.
Right now, we’re looking for a 3d artist who can create models and modify existing ones aswell as tak care of texturing armor and clothing.
We are using Unreal Engine 5.4
Note: The scale is rather big and it will take a while to finish this so only join if your not afraid of longer running Projects. Be passionate about Rpg's and fantasy in general. Were all gamers and big fantasy fans.
We dont need any ghosts, so if you cant commit any work at all to such a project please dont respond.
I know everyone wants to be a gamedev but not actually put any work in, but thats sadly not how it works :)
If this sounds interesting, add me on Discord for more info and to check out some of our current progress.
Together we can create something awesome :)
Cheers

Hello!
My name is Velo, and I am a Junior 3D Prop Artist from Italy. I recently completed a Master’s degree at Bigrock, an esteemed school specializing in video game development and 3D art. Throughout my studies, I honed my skills in creating high-quality 3D models and textures, using industry-standard tools such as Blender, Maya, 3D Substance Painter, and Photoshop. This education provided me with a strong foundation in 3D modeling, texturing, and the technical aspects required to create assets for games.
In addition to my modeling skills, I have practical experience working with game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine. I regularly import my models into these engines to test them within game scenes, ensuring they work seamlessly and without visual glitches. This hands-on approach has helped me understand the importance of optimization and the technical requirements of 3D assets in a game environment.
Beyond modeling and texturing, I am also passionate about lighting and scene composition. I can contribute to the overall atmosphere of a scene by offering creative suggestions for lighting setups and prop placement, ensuring that the visual design enhances the player experience. I am always open to feedback and collaboration, as I believe teamwork and communication are essential in creating outstanding game art.
Fluent in English, I am comfortable working with international teams and can adapt to different project requirements. I am excited to apply my skills, creativity, and passion for game art in a professional setting and look forward to growing as a 3D artist in a dynamic and innovative team.
Please take a moment to explore my portfolio on ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/velocino007.
If you have any questions or need further details about my work, feel free to reach out. I'm happy to provide more information!
Thank you for your time and consideration!
[Hobby] - ONLY on the condition of the project being community driven (no deadlines, bounty-like system).
Hello everyone.
What started off as a hobby has grown into a possible career path for me. I'd like to build a portfolio for possible future job positions, that's why I'm excited to challenge my skills and refine them by assisting personal projects, small indie games, or anything else where I can contribute and learn.
Over the years I've been a part of close-knit circle of artists. This group is a blend of artists of differing experience levels, it's been a fantastic space to exchange knowledge and grow together. Whenever I hit a wall on a project, I always count on them for insides, possible solutions and fresh perspectives.
I've got experience working with a range of industry-standard tools and I'm continuously improving:
I have minimal familiarity game engines; I had small sketch projects in each of those:
I have some programming experience. I've written small projects here and there mostly using two languages - C++ and Python. I've also previously used C#, Java, JavaScript.
Right now, I'm eager to start creating and expanding my portfolio to gain more hands-on experience. If you are looking for someone to bring your character concepts or props to life or know of any projects that I can contribute to, then I would love to connect.
Since I have no portfolio or significant reputation, I fully understand that giving me payment beforehand is a risk! I'm willing to build trust and take payments in stages of work.
Here are some of my sketches: AlanMarshman (@marshmanalan.bsky.social) — Bluesky

Our game is an open-world experience combining psychological horror with emotional depth. Without combat but with gripping stories, you’ll explore an isolated, Alaska-inspired world while uncovering the shattered past of the protagonist, Richard.
The intensity of non combat horror games meets the exploration and wonder of an open world format. Promoting both empathy and reflection, the object is not just to frighten the player, but to truly make them think. Whether you’re avoiding danger, solving a puzzle, or simply wandering, Project MYRM will keep the player engaged in every aspect.
To bring this vision to life, we are looking for passionate talents to join the team:
Unreal Engine 5 Blueprint Developer: We need someone capable of implementing all game-relevant mechanics to deliver the best possible experience for players. The focus is on optimizing the game for release on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5, ensuring smooth performance and immersive gameplay.
Social Media Manager: This role goes beyond managing accounts on selected platforms. You’ll collaborate with us to develop a targeted marketing strategy aimed at building a large, engaged community. Your task is to craft a modern, appealing concept that stands out from the competition, ensuring the game’s presence resonates with players worldwide.
3D Artist: We’re also looking for a talented 3D Artist to help create unique environments and creatures. Your designs will be instrumental in shaping the game’s immersive world and unforgettable moments.
Your contributions will be recognized with a lifetime revenue share from the game. Together, let’s create a game that doesn’t just entertain but leaves a lasting impact. Ready to redefine gaming with us?

Hi!
I'm a unity C# programmer trying to break into AAA, with experience working on prototypes with small teams, both with industry hopefuls and those who have industry experience.
I'm a systems guy, loving all things systems programming. I'm not the best when it comes to character controllers / making good combat, but if you need your ability system backbone or your AI behaviours, I'm your guy.
I'm looking for a passionate team working on these sorts of top down action games, or perhaps even RPG games akin to Divinity / Baldurs Gate / Pathfinder, with heavy emphasis on systems. I'd hope that the folks on the team are not only passionate, but experienced to some degree. Doesn't have to be industry experience, but I'm hoping to find folks who also want to land in games and are putting 110% into everything they do.
On a side note, if you're a designer or a fellow programmer/artist who has the same ambitions as me, reach out. Perhaps we can figure this thing out together and put together a small team with a small scoped game in these genres. I'm no designer, but perhaps one of you have an awesome idea that I just can't wait to get started on.
My availability: My work is seasonal, and the winter season means plenty of time. Other than that, I do spend time working on a small prototype, but with the winter season beginning I'll have plenty of time to work on your/our project.
Feel free to reach out here and we can coordinate on discord.
Wanted to put some of my game inspirations below, incase your project/ideas align with the games I'm most passionate about:
Path of Exile / Diablo / Grim Dawn / Torchlight / Etc.
Gauntlet Slayer Edition (even back as far as Gauntlet Legend for the n64)
Ravenswatch
Hero Siege / Chronicon / Heroes of Hammerwatch
Baldur's Gate 2 & 3, Divinity Original Sin 1 & 2, X-COM, Basically all turn based tactics games
Hello INAT! 👋
I’m looking for passionate creators to join the team behind Forged, an ambitious storytelling project inspired by a Minecraft server. The visuals and world-building aim to match the complexity and artistry of Arcane. This is a collaborative effort to craft a visually stunning, narrative-driven series exploring themes of corruption, politics, and self-discovery.
✅ Work on a creative project blending gaming inspiration with high-quality visuals.
✅ Build your portfolio and collaborate with like-minded creators.
✅ Help shape a unique story with engaging visuals and profound lore.
✅ Receive full credit for your contributions.
If you’re interested, fill out this form to let us know more about your skills:
You can also find our Discord here: https://discord.gg/BhufHUBXpK
We’ll contact you via Discord or email if you’re a good fit for the team.
While Forged draws inspiration from a Minecraft server, we’re elevating it into something bigger—a crazy series that blends unique storytelling with a striking visual aesthetic akin to Arcane. It’s an unpaid project for now, but it’s an excellent opportunity to work on something ambitious, build your portfolio, and collaborate with a dedicated team.
Feel free to DM me or leave a comment if you have any questions. I’d love to hear from you!
Hello!
I am one of the Lead Developers on TERRA-TACTICA. We have been developing for seven months and have come a long way since our initial framework. We have created an in-house graphics engine and are building our 0.0.2 update, the first update that goes out to our play-testers and runs on our engine! Our game has elements of Civilization for the core gameplay. Still, we have entirely changed the significant things that make it our own: the Age of Empires for City/Building Management and Stellaris' Diplomacy.
We are looking for dedicated developers who want to join the team and stay to see the project through. We are very community-driven, regularly seek community input, and are genuinely looking to build a game that is fun to play and allows people to lose hours again. We are a very proactive team, tackling problems as they come at us. We do not see walls; where we do, we break through them or find a way around them; we want developers with the same energy. We do not want someone who cares about the money; it isn't something we as a team talk about at all (speaking of the team, there are 10 of us: seven developers (2 seniors, two lead), two artists, me)
We are not offering any micro-transactions; we are even going as far as giving our Alpha and Beta for free; we are only planning on charging once we have a proper game to charge for (we will be accepting donations once we launch the alpha as we will be crowdfunding through Steam). For any player donations, we plan to give a Steam Inventory item that is a collectible that is only useable in the game for the player's Banner and provides 0 gameplay advantages (still under development). This item will be tradeable on the Steam Market for players to trade and collect. There will be a wide range of free Banner items. The ones from donations will be little novelties as a thank you for supporting us.
In terms of game development, we spent a few months researching and developing our graphics engine, the Terra Graphics Engine. We are running our game on the engine, which is the 0.0.2 update; as mentioned before, this update will be the first one we pipe to our play-testers so they can provide us feedback and guidance on how systems feel.
Most of us use Pycharm; others use VS-Code. We track tasks on our GitHub Project Page.
Requirements
A strong knowledge of Python
Ability to think outside of the box.

Hi there! My name is Julian and I’m looking for more projects to be a part of. I mainly write orchestral music but I'm happy to try other genres of music to expand my skills. I have the most experience in making game music for Tactical RPGs and Visual Novels.
Additionally, I have done music for a metroidvania game, a calm relaxing mobile puzzle game, trailer music for a horror game, and a few other ones. I’m open to any kind of project if you think I would be a good fit!
Here is a link to a Youtube playlist of all my music demo reels.
To get an idea of my rates, the starting rate I currently charge is 175CAD per minute of music for non-commercial (free-to-play) use while retaining the music rights. I am open to discussion to figure something out that will work between the both of us if I am out of your budget - but I will not be accepting 100% rev-share.
Best way to get a hold of me is through one of the three methods below:

Hey everyone! My name is Noélly
I’m working on a game concept and looking for someone who shares my love for cozy, low-energy games to join me as an artist! If you’re into collecting, gacha mechanics, and relaxing gameplay, we might be a perfect match.
About the Game The game is set in a sanctuary filled with magical doors, each leading to new themed habitats where players can collect guardians (adorable creatures inspired by nature). I won't give an in-depth explanation here but it's something along these lines: A world-renowned gardener is tasked with restoring Earth's habitats destroyed by climate change, they are summoned into a sanctuary with 5 doors, each door being a habitat they will restore. They use glow pebbles (guardian poop) to gacha for decorations that attract guardians, and unlock new habitats. By collecting all guardians, they gradually restore the planet Some inspiration of mine include:
Cookie Run: Kingdom (gacha + collecting) Frog Pond by Shar (for the relaxing sanctuary/habitat concept and doodle-like art) Pokémon (character inspirations, variety, and uniqueness) Ogu and the Secret Forest (art style and wholesome feel).
I’m a beginner at game development (using Unity for this), but I’m committed to making this project happen!
What I’m Looking For Someone who loves cozy games and has interest in art styles that are simple, charming, and full of personality (think doodles). Open to collaboration—your input is super important, and I’d love for you to help shape the game visually. If we decide to monetize the game (still undecided—could go freemium or something else), profits will be shared fairly. What I Bring A concept with ideas for mechanics, gameplay, and characters (including a few designs I’ve already drafted). Tons of passion and flexibility—I’m open to changing and improving the concept as we go. A willingness to learn and collaborate! I know I’m new to this, but I’m determined to bring this cozy little game to life. If this sounds like something you’d be into, let’s chat! Share some of your work or just tell me about the games you love, and we can see if we’re a good fit.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hello people! My name is Lars.
I have been posting in this subreddit periodically and i am once again available for work. I have already worked with quite a few people who came across me on this board. My mojo stays the same: do the best i can for your project!
I can and have in the past taken many roles for projects. As a game designer, i can help you come up with concepts, flesh out ideas, build mechanics and systems, tweak rough spots in the game's design or playtest your game and come back with feedback. I have also lead and coordinated teams of developers, artists and writers in the past. I also dabble in art, music, sound design, writing and basically any discipline that is relevant in the making of a game and i use that experience to be the bridge of communication between all the members of a team, being able to understand the nuance of their craft and bring it all together harmoniously.
If you are not looking for something as permanent as hiring me for a project however, that's all right as well! I also have done many smaller-scale jobs, like taking a peek at your design and helping you tweak it or giving you guidance and advice in game design related matters. I am a jack of all trades and i can do pretty much any job (within my skillset).
Rates and prices will be discussed privately. Here are a few examples of my work:
If you're interested, you can reach me on discord under the username larschristiansen. Please do not send inquiries in reddit's DMs, i do not check them! Thank you for reading through my post! Can't wait to work together!
--------------- FAQ --------------------
This is where i will post questions that i get regularly under my post:
Of course i have! People on this subreddit ask me to work on videogames, after all. I have worked on RPGs, rhythm games, strategy games, digital card games, sandbox games, anything you can think of i probably have worked on. Over the three years i've been working on this subreddit i have worked for a rich and vibrant collection of clients. Whatever you have in mind, i can accomodate.
hello! im Diego and i have an artist partner: kdyzhvezdytanci
what -
were working on an action platformer! its kind of like a smaller hollow knight on rails with a more straightforward story about the transformation from evil to good, and a little rpg progression sprinkled in. this game has had a few abandoned iterations and you can see those on my youtube channel here:
awesome old penguin boss fight demo:
https://youtu.be/APYd6irUpRI?si=8fXajHHU6uB0naQ-
most recent gameplay demo:
https://youtu.be/dkC1M-tJBQw?si=TPmxh2oYewGxc9DX
(it it looks just barely passable, i probably made it lol, if it looks actually good thats one of my partners assets lol)
who -
as the title states, were looking for another artist. think you could create an npc or a table or a house or tree in the flat color pixel art style seen in the vids? then you might be who we are looking for :)
when -
im looking for someone who can deliver at minimum 1 artworks per week or 4 a month.
where -
you can message me here on reddit, but if possible id prefer you add me on discord. im not active every day on either but i am more active on discord. you can search my name "pickel99" and hopefully it shows up a drunk rock lee from naruto profile pic, thats me.
why -
because you want to have fun creating. not looking for negative nancies or people who are inflexible. i did say revshare. i just today bought the license to i can now legally accept donations for my games, and once i have a decent little demo of sorts we will begin figuring out how to advertise and such and hopefully people are interested. the end goal is an official steam launch. for now its just the POSSIBILITY of donations. all earned funds will be split up between us according to levels of contribution. that is the same way the sales will ideally work once we reach launch.
we are super new to this, just kids figuring it out really, but please come join us and have some fun with fellow creatives!

I’m working on a small multiplayer project using Mirror. I'm aiming for a simple 4-8 player co-op experience, similar to Lethal Company or Content Warning in co-op style. This project isn’t gonna be published but rather as a personal learning experience and something fun to play with friends. My goal is to develop a solid understanding of Mirror for future projects, rather than focusing on publishing a game right now.
I’m particularly interested in learning how to set up the entire thing, sync gameplay elements, and implement basic multiplayer features like player interactions, etc... Any guidance on best practices for optimizing performance in a multiplayer setting would also be incredibly helpful.
While the scope of this project is relatively small, I hope toget enough knowledge and experience to use Mirror in future projects.
If you have experience in Unity and Mirror, I’d love to connect and learn from you. You can DM via Discord: skythedragon_official. Please feel free to reach out if you’re interested in helping a fellow developer grow and refine their multiplayer development skills.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you!
This is a hobby position! No payments! If you come asking for money, I'll ignore!
(I couldn't think of anything else since there's not much else I have to say, I'm just looking for someone who can help me learn and integrate Mirror into a test project to learn for future projects. So this is for the 250 word count)
