647 is great for alot of bread applications however the flaws really shine when i make my favorite sandwhich.
Is this considered NSFW?
I tried pepper jack and sharp cheddar so far, but I need something to balance the tanginess of the rye. Thanks!
(Ignore flair I didn't know what to tag this as)

This restaurant in Claremont,CA has an absolutely FIRE grilled cheese sandwich. However, my other family members do not appreciate the marvel that is a grilled cheese sandwich nearly as much as I, which makes it so I can go infrequently. If any ex-employees or sleuths can provide a recipe so I can make it myself, I will be forever grateful to you.
Heare is the website's description:
Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Swiss, Mozzarella and Pepper Jack cheese on garlic bread."
🙏🙏🙏
I just joined this group, and I had a serious craving for grilled cheese yesterday, so I decided to make my standard adult version.
Started by spreading some garlic Parmesan herb Challenge butter on slices of Farmhouse sourdough from Pepperidge Farm. Then, I added a thin layer of Dean’s bacon French onion dip on the inside—a little trick I came up with about 10 years ago, and now I can’t make grilled cheese without it.
I made two versions: one with American cheese and one with pepper jack. Pepper jack is always the winner, but it’s nice to mix things up. Cross-grilled them to get that extra texture and grip. :P
For dipping, I heated up some mushroom and herb soup.
Finally, some zero sugar Dr. Thunder (the name makes me giggle), and an apple and cinnamon soy candle burning for the fall vibes.
Honestly, it was the perfect lunch.
It is difficult to cut bread.
…yum!
Pumpkin cream cheese and dulce de leche brie. Butter and cinnamon sugar on the outside.
I'm starting work at a German bakery that wants to start serving sandwiches, to start we'll be doing grilled cheeses on the panini press. So think thick sturdy german breads. We will probably use the closest thing they have to white bread, but may branch out. Also tips for butter/lube for the outside. Mayo? surely not on the panini press.... But at the very least like some herb butter. But yeah, HMU your top 3 cheeses to grill, thank you!
edit: Ooh also any tomato soup hacks
