Red Lights

When we were kids, we all played that game "Red Light, Green Light." The whole point of the game, as I'm sure you're aware, is red means "stop," and green means "go." Even before we were old enough to drive, we were learning basic driving instructions at a very young age.

This means that you have no excuse to run a red light. I've seen it happen twice in the same day. Learn to fucking drive people. You are going to kill someone!

Taxi or Uber to Medford Int. Airport?

Which is the better option if I’m trying to get to Medford airport from Grants Pass? I’m trying to get there relatively on time, not pay an absurdly ridiculous price, and be in one piece when we get there. Also if you guys know a good cab company please share that as well.

Has anyone worked at the Iron Oar in Merlin? I left the lil pantry in Merlin because it was a toxic work environment. I did an interview with them last week and was gonna follow up on it.

Greyback Forestry

Does anyone have experience working for Greyback Forestry? Would you recommend it? Why or why not? I am aware that it's very physically demanding, and that most of their employees are ex-cons, but I'm hoping someone can tell me more.

Looking for information about a eerie encounter

The holiday season recently had me remember a frigthening encounter i had a few years back around 2016, When I was younger and still living in town I was walking through redwood park on early morning just barely past sunup so it was still quiet dark, it was a very foggy morning the type where you can barely see 10 feet past you, while walking out of the fog came a large hooded figure in a heavy looking robe, it was all brown almost like burlap and the hood covered his face, he towered over me, I'm 6ft so he must be in the range of 7-8 he had some kind of tool with him but I didn't see exactly what it was, he moved very quietly and didn't say anything, then simply disappeared back into the fog, if anyone has any information on who or what this was I'm desperate to know more about what this was

ASL "speakers"?

Hi! I'm currently taking classes for ASL and while practice in class and at home is excellent, it's not the same as practicing with someone in person. Is there anyone local who is fluent and is willing to help a newbie practice?

Spiked Roads & Trails near Grants Pass

Just saw this on the Forest Service Facebook page.

U.S. Forest Service- Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest  · We are saddened to report that someone has been “spiking” Forest Service roads in the Taylor Creek and Shan Creek areas. Hunting and mining interests have reported spikes and wires across roads and trails in the area. Reports have stated that the boards that hold the spikes have been covered with leaves, so it may be difficult to see them. If you see anything on the Wild Rivers Ranger District related to this type of activity, please report it to the Grants Pass Interagency Office at 541.471.6500 or the Wild Rivers Ranger District at 541.592.4000.

Why does Grants Pass think Cave Men had such bad posture?

I don't believe cave men were haunched forward like the sculptures in GP show.

49er KC game

I'll be in town during this game. I'd appreciate recommendations for fun places to watch the game where a "mature" woman would feel comfortable.

Anyone have any experience with Lyft in Grants Pass?

I know someone considering signing up to be a driver, I'm wondering if there would be enough demand to make it worthwhile.

Looking for very specific car

Hey! I'm from the Medford area and am looking to see if anybody or anybody you know has a green, e-class mercades benz car with a sedan/saloon model. I'm of trying to give the PERFECT gift and would be interested in paying above its value to get one as long as its in good condition.

Hit me a message if you're interested

Everything is closed and it's my anniversary!

Hello everyone! My wife and I have our 2 year anniversary in just a few days and all we want is time to ourselves and to do something spooky and be out of a room for the 13th and 14th and everything is CLOSED or cost an arm and a leg. We are low income and basically everything we make goes to bills or needs like food, clothes etc so it's been hard to get anything saved so we are working with like $300 max. She just wants to be out of the house after some medical things have kept her down. I just want to give her the universe and an amazing wedding anniversary and everything is fighting me. Please PLEASE give me some kinda help. She's been planning for a while and I have to but no fruit to show and I don't want her to feel like nothing's gonna change either because it's been years of tragedy and fighting to do anything outside of work and bills and when we finally have a chance everything is closed. Please help us make our anniversary fun because I've run out of places to look. Thank you in advance

Aurora viewing

I just relocated here at the beginning of the summer and this is the first chance I’ve had to get out and see the northern lights since we got here. Are there any particularly good spots that someone can recommend?

Thanks!
