I just started playing Veilguard 😊 It's a small pet peeve, but I'm always a little sad if my Gal character has to walk like she got a package between her legs. Might be because I picked Warrior? Love the game already btw, don't get me wrong 🤩
Anyone who has a pretty one, show it off! I just got mine and would love to see how you've decorated yours!
This is Faelynn, I love the character creator in Veilguard so much!! She took me an embarrassingly long time to make 😂 She’s a mage btw ✨
Title, I’d have better words to say but I’m genuinely just shocked and too upset to spare time venting about someone like her, I reported her channel and hopefully some of you can as well
Not the sims 😬
I tried getting into house flipper but it’s got a lot of jank. Your pov will be 6 feet tall sometimes and 3 feet other times. I tried messing with fov and it didn’t help. I play on console so no mods. The controls also aren’t great.
I’m currently playing two point hospital and I love the gameplay. But there’s not a lot of focus on colors, decor, etc.
I wish I liked the sims, but as soon as I’ve built something, I’m bored.
I wanna make a friend explore PC gaming especially visual novel genre because my friend is a 70 years old yoga instructor who is not fond of or have experience with technology. But she can computer better than any of her friends or many younger than her but i would like an easy game to ease her into it. So i would like a recommendation for a game that is low effort, one she can save and get back to it anytime. I like visual novels for this especially something with great visuals and sound. But any recommendation appriciated
Altho I dunno what to call her. Shes a mage.
Game: Dragon Age - Veilguard
I'm looking for help finding a decent gaming chair that will work for me. I'm 5'3" with short little legs that dangle off the ground with standard gaming chairs.
I was looking at the Secret Lab extra extra small Titan chair, and it looks good with a seat height of 12-14". However, it's made for kids and has a weight limit of 150 lbs. I'd want something a little beefier since I'm about 165 lbs.
I haven't been able to find any good options. Is there a version of the Titan chair that's XS instead of XXS? Because if so I can't find it, and the Titan Evo Small's seat height is too big at 17.7-20.5".
I think ideally I'd want a seat height around 13-15". I'm also open to other recommendations that aren't from Secret Lab
I almost always play as a dwarf when the option exists and I always make my hair pink, but I generally try to make the PC look like me. I feel like she looks sad tho 😂 I can’t French braid myself, but my girl’s hair needs to be out of the way for fighting 😤
Genuinely every now and then I come across some discussions about regional pricing for games and consoles or limited availability in certain countries or someone in real life not understanding how it works.
The most recent example, I have mentioned i have gifted my friend a copy of the game she wanted to play (AC mirage), but was not able to buy as the game is not available for purchase in our home country. Even if you try to use key resellers the keys would not activate, so the only way for my friend to play it was for me to steam gift her the copy of the game. The person I mentioned it to just couldn't wrap their mind around why my friend couldn't purchase the game themselves or wouldn't activate the key despite multiple explanations.
Another example - when witcher 3 just came out I bought it for like a tenner on steam due to regional pricing and the game being cheaper in my region. Some people were annoyed and found it unfair and tried to argue that games should be the same price everywhere, completely ignoring the differences in minimum salaries between the countries (my home country has a minimum of around 150£ and where I live now it is over 1100£ a month).
This just makes me feel like anders and want to blow up, especially after some people abusing the system which resulted in a lot of regional prices to go up.
I don't think this game is what I have been looking for.
I wanted to play an action RPG with immersive gameplay and story, but this game is not really that.
I don't have many friends to ask about games like this but can you guys please recommend me a good RPG?
I've been pretty immersed in the League of Legends lore for a while, but I've heard that the RPG that they were developing is not coming out anytime soon.
Me and my boyfriend like to play OW2 a lot, and sometimes I like to try out new characters in the unranked part of the game. Naturally, since i’m new at them I tend to be inconsistent and not great at the character everytime. Tonight I played a character that was a sniper and so despite winning 2 games at her, the third game I preformed terribly. People in my team started to berate me in the chat and my boyfriend said nothing. I also stated in the chat that I was learning this character but continued to get verbally abused. I asked my boyfriend why won’t he say anything because often times he’ll defend himself. He responded by saying “Oh that’s why I mute and turn off chat”. I replied with saying yes but someone is being mean to me why are you not saying anything as my boyfriend?
He continues to say “Oh that’s why I don’t play this character, because she’s so inconsistent.” and “I’m just trying to play the game, ignore them.” I feel like he blames me for being verbally abused and continues to say nothing all the while other strangers come in to defend me in chat. I get so upset that I close the game, and he continues to play the game himself.
Everytime he plays this game it’s like he’s a different person, he also has such huge temper with the game. Am I overreacting? I almost cried and I don’t know why I’m so frustrated but it feels so isolating and that he wouldn’t defend me if people in real life talk badly about me…..
just looking for advice
Hey ! I loved Outer Wilds and I'm playing Chants of Sennaar, enjoying it so much ! Do you know any other games where you're basically just exploring and figuring things out ?? I wanted to play one with my GF to share such a great experience (and also because two brains are better than one ahah)

I’m about to head into my second IVF cycle 🫠and I’m looking for good games to play that are addictive, consuming, distracting, etc. Ideally on switch or steam deck compatible but we’ve got a PS5 too. Does it need to be a stress free game? Idk, no one seems to really know what’s going on in the fertility world. Last round I played Zelda Echoes of Wisdom which was a great distraction (wish it was longer though). I’m pretty open game-wise, but some of my recent favorites have been: Horizon Zero Dawn (+ Forbidden West), Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Pikmin 4, Overwatch 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Moonstone Island, Dave the Diver, Tiny Glade, Cattails 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Animal Crossing. I like puzzles, story, cute stuff, sneaky stuff, exploring, action, little bit of everything to be honest as long as I can get addicted lol. Any recommendations, vibes, or helpful tips are welcome 💖
I have a friend in an interesting situation. They're nonbinary, and use they/them. Their husband, is, well, a man. Their sons apparently keep referring to their grandmothers and others who exclusively use she/her by they/them pronouns. This is less than ideal.
I suggested that they add more women to the media that their kids consume. One of the areas of media they consume that neither of us knows a lot about is gaming YouTube. Do you all have any suggestions that would be suitable for that age range? Particularly ones who play games with protagonists who use she/her, to get practice with seeing those pronouns used.

I feel like a lot of the DLC for the Sims 4 over the years have been rather lacking. Either it's too specific and fits into a certain playstyle but this pack seems like "evergreen" content just like Seasons.
Heyyyy Dragon Age Veilguard is out tomorrow and I am so excited! After complaining/struggling with inquisition over the last few days, I can finally admit that I was wrong and this group was right. The DLCs were amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed the game as a whole. It definitely picked up and I enjoyed the second half of the game much better.
Anyway, Veilguard is out tomorrow and I've been avoiding main reddit groups and youtube videos galore because I want to go in pretty much blind. I've researched briefly enough to know what class/faction/race I wanna be, but otherwise I've avoided all reviews and spoilers. There's too much negativity and criticism going on around the game and I personally want to avoid that shit and just "enjoy the game" as it comes (ie not influenced by other peoples issues/opinions).
This is pretty much just a kind of "one more sleep until Christmas/veilguard releases" kinda post.
I'm super psyched!
Are we ready?!
Solas 👀 I'm coming for you, bro.
This made me laugh more than it should
Is it good?
Most of the games people seem to not like come from studios or IPs that are either sexist, have shady practices, toxic fanbases, hundreds of dlcs that would cost several thousand to get instead of releasing a complete game, and so on.
My question is what are the games you didn't like or hated that don't have questionable content or come from studios that are not problematic and have a relatively healthy fanbase?
Personally I didn't enjoy outer wilds. I have tried so many times to get into it but it just wouldn't click and would bore me. So while it is something I might recommend to people, it is not something I would want to play again myself as I was left pretty disappointed.
Another one is pillars of eternity 2 deadfire. While they improved on everything from the first game, I feel the story received a massive downgrade as it just feels empty compared to the first game, so completing it kinda turned into a chore.
