My friend like me is a massive book fandom girl, eg Harry Potter, Divergent, Mortal Instruments, Hunger Games, Twilight etc etc Anyone got any good present ideas related to all or most of the fandoms?
After reading so many vampire and werewolf novels, I find myself always being attached to the relationship development between a vampire and a werewolf. Anyone with me?
And the latest one that I've read this month is The Dark Empress. It is on Sofanovel.
It talks about the adventure and love story between a vampire named Saber and a werewolf named Haunter, and how Haunter helps Saber destroy the evil Dena and finally make Saber the new Dark Empress.
Every chapter fascinates me and I just cannot put it down. The bad thing is I have to pay to read the last few chapters. But totally worthwhile.
Starts tomorrow. Needs a thread. Shirts optional.
So how is everyone doing? Getting excited for Christmas?
How did everyone feel about the Scream Queens finale, HTGAWM midseason finale, TWD midseason finale amongst all the others?
This sub has been unfortunately rather quite lately :(
I admit I'm glued to X Factor (have watched since series 1). I loved the (problematic) first ep of Jekyll & Hotpants and am celebrating the return of the Detectorists.
Anybody watching it? It's got two hot guys and Nick Jonas. Yes, I know, I'm incredibly shallow. It's on its 2nd season and I'm wondering if it's any good.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
I am loving this show. It's going to be cancelled isn't it?
How is everyone enjoying the new seasons so far?
I'm enjoying Brooklyn Nine-Nine so far, Survivor's new season, TO's premiere and HTGAWM. I'm dying to know what happens there! The first episode of AHS was really good, and I've really got into Scream Queens. I haven't watched the premiere of TWD yet, but I will today or tomorrow! I also watched TVD and am not sure how I feel about it yet. ><
Haven. It's a TV show based off of a Steven King novel (and I think has other references to Stephen King novels). The subreddit for the show is pretty dead, so I was hoping to see if anyone else here had watched it. I'm going through s2 right now and while the acting isn't great, and the vfx is AWFUL, it's a nice, comfortable little show that is interesting enough to keep me watching. And the main male character has a nice stern jaw-y look about him.
As an aside, there are two actors who have lovely chemistry when they butt heads against each other. What are other shows that have two male leads who occasionally face off against each other with great chemistry?
Spoilers So definitely 2 Red Devils. I think Boone has to be one of them. Not sure about the other one yet.Chad is off the suspect list unless there is a whole team working together and not just two. The guys smashing up the red car and going after the Red Devils with baseball bats when they had chainsaws had me laughing out loud. What did you like about last nights episode? Any guesses on who the killers are?
How's everyone feeling about the fall TV season so far? By now, several new shows have debuted and several old ones have come back. What are the shows you're still waiting for, and how do you feel about the ones you've seen?
Me personally, I was really let down by the premiere of heroes reborn. I'm still waiting on agents of shield, iZombie and Brooklyn 99, as well as teen wolf and the 100 which come back way later.
My top ten favorite in no specific order are 1.Supernatural 2.The Vampire Diaries 3.The Originals 4.Bates Motel 5.Pretty Little Liars 6.Teen Wolf 7.Charmed 8.Buffy the Vampire Slayer 9.Angel 10.Two and a Half Men
Of scream queens? I started watching at like 8:01 and apparently missed something with ariana grande!?! Anyway I don't really like shows like this but I feel like I need to watch it find out the big mystery!
Edit: well crud I found out the premiere was 2 hours long so I guess I missed an entire hour lmao
If been afk for a few days, and I'm sorry. My grandpa pasted away today and we are moving. Irl stuff is just stressing me out! But I want to let yall know I will catch up over next weekend.
What are your favorite web sites to visit once you finish an episode? I know there's tumblr, but tumblr isn't really set up for communication, more so blogging. Where other than reddit can I find a couple hundred people having in depth discussions about TV shows?
Personally I'm most excited to see how TVD handles not having Elena and the new promos look so good. I'm also excited for TO, the second second season of HTGAWM, and Survivor (since its the second chance season). For new shows Scream Queens looks like it has the most potential and like a fun, campy horror show.
So many great choices! So hard to pick! Spike from Buffy is one of my favorite vampires. Oz from Buffy is one of my favorite wolves.
