For all of the Focuses from the performance series. The last year of Focus is coming ever closer and I feel sad. From owning ST170 (SVT) in Estate in the ever beautiful Imperial Blue, driving RS Mk1 once, riding shotgun in ST225 and to now owning ST250 again in the Estate in Frozen White, I don’t even know, what my next car is gonna be, when this one will be too expensive to maintain. Or if the EU will throw more and more sticks under our legs to own these cars. But until then, this is such an affordable and fun car, which can also support my daily drives with family and elevate my mood, when I drive on my own on some twisty back roads, especially now, with falling leaves all around.
Beautiful.
And for that, thank you Ford, for ever producing these cars.
I’ve currently had a Cobb fmic on my car for about a year now. The car was running great still I did a pull and popped off the coupler that connects to the turbo and downpipe. Since then my car has felt sluggish and I could tell I had a boost leak. I went to a shop to get a smoke diagnosis and they said nothing popped up and that the car feels fine. I do plan to get a tune on my car but it was after I installed my Cobb exhaust and depo downpipe that I’ve had sitting in my garage for a little bit now. I have a Cobb ap and wonder if just putting on the exhaust, downpipe and a tune will fix my issue, or if it’s maybe something I have to replace before I do all that
Hi Everyone! Just got a manual 2013 ST about a month ago. I bought the car with a Cobb exhaust (which I definitely love), but was wondering what mods people recommend! I plan on getting some wheels and wrapping the car, but would love to know what mods people are doing for reliability and power. TIA!! :)
Just bought a 2013 a week ago,
On the way to work, shifting shat itself exiting off the freeway. Started grinding trying to shift into 2nd then not too long after, lost the ability to shift 2-4-6.
Did my due diligence to research and try all the stuff mentioned here with previous users with similar issues. Turns out it was the roller pin on the shift arm that was loose and also did a neutral reset on the shifter. Thing shifts better than when I first got it. Was dreading having to bring it to ford to be told you need a new transmission or my synchros are unalived. Will get some loctite so that pin/screw will be more secure.
While I was in the engine bay also did a true vacuum route from the sound symposer delete plate. No more PSHHH sub 3k rpm.
All the plethora of information on this subreddit can save you a headache and a hole in your wallet. Little weird and cheesy post but thank all y’all for your service.
Does anybody have a cheap way to fix my driver door not latching so I can take it to a dealership without the door flying open on right turns?
Noticed this when parked, not lights ir radio. Sounds like it's coming from the dash?
Damn. It was useful being able to drop screenshots to help people.
Nice while it lasted I guess.
Had this code pop up. I did a little research but does anyone else have experience with this? With my CAl every now and then the sensor on the back of the intake pipe will come loose. Could it be that?
I am aiming to finally allow my girl to no longer see New England winter roads and wondering if y'all have any tips or definite "do's" to complete before storing Stacie
Took over a year to find one that checked all my boxes.
Tangerine Scream Facelift ST3 Snowflakes Around 50k miles 1 owner
Was definitely worth it
Which is more weird, that this person stole only one panel, the second one is still on the car
I pulled my teeth this morning after it stopped raining. Do you still have all of yours?
Last season I was using 235/45/17 winters on my 2015 focus ST. I’m due for some new winters but I’m having a hell of a time finding the above size. Question is, What other dimensions would still work comfortably with my current 17” steelies? TIA☺️
Hi everyone I'm new here. I got this beauty since April this year, it now has about 50k kilometers down and I have to renew my brake disc's on the front. I was looking for perforated and/ or slotted disc's but I can't find any with a valid operating permit for it (Germany). Does someone know if there are any available.
Chasing a part number or a outlet that isn't in the US of A to order a complete assembly.
I have read the write-up about building your own in the ST forums but I do not have the time to source all the parts and fuck around without, just wanting a "drop in" solution for the meantime.
My ST on a warm start with a full tank of fuel will start. Idle starts at 1200, drops to 600 then evens out at the 800-900 range. From what I have read up on this means the purge valve is on its way out.
Besides that I have a rough idle on cold start. (From what iv read up on this normally happens, the roughness is only at 1200 rpm then stops after) The car doesn't stall out of fail to start after filling up on fuel.
EDIT: After sitting for 45 mins in the cold, 2 starts and it has not done it on either

Best upgrade, intercooler
2nd best upgrade, rear headrests
Was alot easier than I was expecting. Also took a chance on a unit that may or may not have worked so kept the whole cost below £200. Great result.
