Have to look outside 10+ times a day just to look at the beautiful thing 🤣
I recently bought a set of focus ST170 wheels and need a full set of tyres, I have looked into pilot sports but they are abit much when I’d need a full set, can anyone recommend a good tyre I could get a full set of for around £300? Many thanks!
So far enjoying the new WK Motorsport Shifter I picked up for Halloween from Whoosh. Shifts are very quick and precise. Virtually no play and positive engagement into each gear. Install went smoothly outside of removing the mountune short shift kit. My example did not require tuning, or shaving the footwell panel tab. Will update if any reliability issues pop up.
I got my car (2015 FiST) back from the paint shop and now my stereo's not working. The head unit and touch screen (SYNC 2) seems completely functional. But I'm getting no audio from the speakers whatsoever.
I took it back to the shop, where they tried disconnecting the battery and doing the stereo reset, which did not do anything.
I think something was damaged by water, since when they were working on the car apparently water got in, because the carpets were damp and there was still some water sitting in the console below the shifter.
Do these cars have a separate amp that might have gotten fried? Or some other module I could look at? I have some experience installing stereos but I don't know where to begin looking on this car.
I called my local Ford dealership and all they said was "Can't say for sure without diagnosing, but I can tell you it's gonna be a lot of money."
Any pointers you guys can give me would help me out a lot.
Redline goods custom alcantara ahift boot, 4 panel with quad stitching, dark green to match Alien Man and silver outer stiches. Was a hassle to install and I still may go back and modify it because the boot can be lifted better into the reverse Lock out but needs to be cut some. What do you think?
Hey guys, I recently put BG synchro shift 2 in my trans after doing the big job of changing my clutch and slave. I realized my axle boot is tore when I took my wheels off again after I put the BG in my trans. I’m just wondering what other trans fluid I can use in place of the synchro shift, because I don’t want to have to order two bottles again for $70, just because I have to drain my fluid again when taking the axle out. I’ve seen a lot of people say good and bad things about motul. I’m not taking that fuckin chance, I’m in cold climates right now since it’s winter here in NY.

Hi.
Car started bogging/losing power over the weekend, was sort of intermittant. Sunday, tried to start up and just crank, no catch. When it would catch for a moment, would die within 10-15 seconds. Borrowed neighbors reader, P0087, low rail pressure.
Googled, low side sensor the first culprit. Replaced it. Same problem.
Ordered a FORScan reader and HPFP and the tappet. Reader I have only shows one pressure reading which I think is high side, 120-130 psi while cranking. New reader should show both.
That would all be consistent with HPFP or the tappet being borked, and replacing both is the next step.
Anything else I should consider? Fuel relay? High side sensor? Lowside pump?
Thanks.
Does anyone have recommendations for replacement windshield A-pillar trim to buy? Prices online range from $35 to $200 depending on the seller, which seems crazy.
I figure at least a few people here must have replaced theirs, since the trim on these cars rots out so fast. 8 years old and my Fiesta trim is literally falling apart in pieces, meanwhile my 12 year old Honda Fit's trim still looks like new.
Thanks in advance!
I’m looking to put a coolant temp gauge on my fist and I need the hose size for the adapter I’m buying off of glow shift so does anybody know the size of this coolant line.

Oil lvl is ok, I want to make sure what seems to be the problem (or if there’s any)
I went to my mechanic to check as to why my car keeps overheating in stop and go traffic he's currently quoting me $603.44 to change
Temperature sensor
Thermostat
Antifreeze
Thermostat remove and replace.
I was considering on buying the parts myself so he can just install. I saw that there are two options the 180 or the mishimoto part which one would you guys recommend and why?
last week i had an s280 installed in my 2016 st, and it was working fine until a few days ago when it started sputtering when it goes near full boost
it's throwing a code P0039 Turbo Charger Bypass Valve Control Circuit, but that seems unrelated; besides, the oem valve was replaced by a turbosmart bypass valve
i had the spark plugs replaced as well (denso tt iridium), and i have ignition coils on order since the car has 170 000 km on the clock, figured i may as well go ahead and replace them but before i do, no harm in asking around eh?
why does it misfire like mad but not throw any DTCs related to the misfires?
Hi guys, I have a MK7 and I think I have a high pressure fuel pump issue or Coils packs or a Crankshaft Position Sensor, not sure yet. Can you give me your opinion before I start pulling bits apart trying to fix it.
Already replaced them, Battery, Spark Plugs and ABS Sensors trying to fix.
The fault / symptoms. Typically happens when accelerating from a stand still, not hard just pulling away from lights etc.
I logged my drive to work this morning and on the way home, when the revs drop to 0 is when the fault has happened. When revs come back I have restarted the car. PM logs are best to look at, multiple faults.
Oh ignore the MAF sensor readings, I unplugged it for my drive home to see if it was faulty.
Cheers guys <3

I'm trying to find an affordable option to get winter tires on my bean after driving through a blizzard last week. Any leads are greatly appreciated
Anyone know if any good mechanic shops in Miami
Tires on right now are the Michelin pilot sport all season 4's. The dark rainy season has begun, and I'm having a small heart attack everytime I hit the smallest of puddles. Most of my driving is ~60-70mph highway time.
Bridgestone - BLIZZAK WS90 are genuine winter snow tires, and I'm fine switching out summer/winter sets. But it doesn't ever really snow here, just rain and the occasional ice, as our lowest avg temp is 35F. This feels like overkill, or just dumb.
Mostly looking at the FALKEN ZIEX ZE960 A/S or HANKOOK VENTUS V2 CONCEPT 2 H457.
Thoughts? Experiences? Especially rainy highway handling. TIA
