What do you make of this?
They were both at Janie's Fund last night. Not sure if they spoke but they were in the same room.
I’m doing this project where I’m listening to & reviewing every #1 album from the 70s (backwards in time though). I just finished ‘78.
This is my favorite so far and by such a wide margin? It’s so cool having three songwriters with very different voices and writing/tune styles, and yet they’re all good in their own way? And “The Chain” is the mixture of all three of their voices.
I swear this could’ve come out today? It sounds so fresh. I wish I could find a current artist with this production style!
Plus - they made my job easy for ‘77 because …. Damn they blocked a ton of other albums from getting to #1 in the fall and summer of this year! I was shocked when I opened the page and it was basically just Rumours. I wasn’t alive then but I wonder just how famous they were that year and what made it so enormous. Very interested in hearing about that from anyone who was a fan back then!
I checked and they have another number one coming up in ‘76 so I’m very excited for that. And I think I’m gonna check out the rest of their stuff anyway.
Following the previous poll, there has been a tie between Rumours and Tusk at 18 votes each. Winner takes all.
Hey guys I am an AP Research Student and I have a survey to find out which guitar tuning is preferred among rock music listeners. All data will stay anonymous and will be solely used for research purposes. Participation is optional and it should only take up to 5 minutes of your time. Thank you so much!
I cried, I broke down, and my illusions of love are shattered.
Ha anyone else seen this rumour? What do you think? Do you think he will focus on the music or the drama? I can't wait to get my hands on it.
I get a lot of flak when I openly admit that Save Me is my favorite song by Fleetwood Mac EVER, but I can’t help it! Everything about this song is perfect (no pun Christine). The harmonies, The rhythm, The lyrics, Christine’s voice, The instruments… I could go on and on.
I respect and love each rendition of the band (especially the Bob Welch and Bekka Bramlett eras), but “Save Me” feeds me spirituality in ways that I can’t describe.
Just thought I drop the bridge here before heading to bed after undergoing yet another hour long loop of playing this underrated gem.

As per another poll I'm interested to see what the diverse fan base likes the most.
"Fleetwood Mac fans! Can we finally all admit that Tango In The Night is better than Rumours?" https://www.loudersound.com/features/why-tango-in-the-night-is-a-better-album-than-rumours
Tango in The Night in my opinion is the biggest piece of commercial crap Fleetwood Mac ever released. I like individual songs from it but in my opinion it doesn't even come close to Rumours, it's the weakest of the 5 albums.
Thoughts on the new Tango half speed release next week? Who's getting it? I don't currently own Tango on vinyl so feels like a perfect opportunity to splurge plus can you imagine how good it's gonna sound?
I’ve heard and watched many live performances of Dreams. The one thing that I’ve always wondered is why Stevie has never sung it in the pitch of the recording? She always sings in a much lower and deeper register/tone than the recorded version.

I'm guessing she was interviewing him? I don't mean this in a mean way, but seeing him up close like this makes me realized how much older they are all getting and makes me more upset they can't work their problems out. They aren't going to be around forever.
Also, he still has his ring on...oh Lindsey.
Got an email about this earlier. Bit lovely, but as I've got all the albums on vinyl already, it's a bit too pricey

Per this account: https://x.com/concertleaks/status/1884651871207645624 (which seems legit)
A lot of Harry Styles fans in the replies hoping he's making a surprise appearance to sing with as I think there was also a blind item about him showing. Meanwhile, I just want to know if Lindsey is showing!
Either way, should be fun to hear a new song.
I think they could’ve done one more after YMLF peaked in December 1977… maybe they could’ve gotten a fifth top 10. If you were a record label man, what would you have picked?
I would never have listen to this song if I didn’t see it being promoted as in involving Lindsey. Even though his involvement seems minimal - at least in the actual recording itself - it sounds very much like a Lindsey solo song and I really like it! Has anyone else listened to it?
