Largely focused on modern military settings, our campaigns are carefully crafted and Zeus'd by members with years of experience.

We have around 60 members who are currently split into six squads. Four infantry squads, one support squad, and one recon squad. On top of that, we have Zeuses and Field Command.

Operation times are 20:00 - 22:30 CET on Thursdays & Sundays, where we generally play NATO-style factions and occasionally other styles as well!

Throughout the ten millennia after the infamous Horus Heresy we have delved into The Rock and uncovered the vast secrets and Relics that it holds. 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines - ARMA 3 Milsim Unit

NOW RECRUITING - INFANTRY, 3MAW, AND ARMOR PLATOON

1. Infantry Section

Military Occupational Specialties (MOS):

• 0311 Rifleman Frontline fighters. Conduct offensive and defensive operations, room clearing, and hold key objectives. The backbone of the infantry section.
• 0331 Machine Gunner Provide heavy suppressive fire and support. Operate and maintain medium and heavy machine guns for squad- and platoon-level firepower.
• 0351 Assaultman Specialize in demolitions and anti-tank warfare. They take out enemy fortifications and vehicles with explosive ordnance.
• 0365 Infantry Squad Leader Lead and coordinate small unit operations. Responsible for squad-level tactics, command, and control on the battlefield.

-HM-8404 Corpsman

Provide critical medical care to wounded Marines in the field. Perform life-saving procedures and stabilize casualties for medevac. The Corpsman is an essential part of maintaining combat effectiveness in any operation.

2. 3rd Marine Air Wing (3MAW)

We need skilled pilots and air crew for multi-role combat operations!

• Rotary Wing Pilots Handle medevacs, close air support (CAS), exfil/infil, and gun runs. Play a critical role in supporting ground operations.
• Fixed-Wing Pilots Support CAS, recon, and transport missions. Expect to handle multi-role aircraft in high-stakes situations.
• UAV Operators Provide reconnaissance, support CAS, and monitor key objectives. Handle high-tech drone warfare. Flight Selection All pilots must complete a flight selection program to ensure operational readiness. Be prepared to undergo rigorous training to join the 3MAW!

3. Armor Platoon

For those who prefer heavy firepower and armored warfare.

• Armor Crewmen (19K)Operate tanks and armored vehicles in both defensive and offensive operations. Engage enemy forces with overwhelming firepower and mobility.
• Tank Commander (19A)Lead armored units in combat, coordinating vehicle movements and firepower to destroy enemy assets and fortifications. Dominate the battlefield with the might of the U.S. Marine armor corps!

Unit Details:

• **Timezone:** **Eastern Standard Time (EST)**All operations and activities are scheduled based on the **East Coast of North America**.
• **Country:** **North American Unit**While we are based in the **USA**, we welcome players from around the world as long as they can meet the timezone and operational schedule.
• **Play Style:****Task Force Lunar Dominion** is a **milsim unit** focused on tactical realism. We emphasize teamwork, communication, and coordination, using military strategies and structure within our sci-fi framework. This means you will work closely with your squad and follow a structured chain of command during operations.
• **Attendance Requirements:**We expect members to attend at least **75% of scheduled operations**. However, we understand that real life comes first—if you can’t attend an operation, just let your team leader know in advance. Consistent communication is key to maintaining your status in the unit.
• **Operation Schedule:**Operations are held every **Friday at 7 PM EST**, lasting for **two hours**. Additional training sessions or special missions may be scheduled occasionally.
• **Communication:**We use **Task Force Radio** for in-game communication, so having a working microphone and clear communication skills are essential.

• **Age 16+** (maturity and respect are key in our community)
• **Arma 3** (no Apex DLC required!)

3/506, G Co. 1st Platoon prior to Operation Market Garden, September 16th, 1944.

From the shores of Normandy to the Hitler's Eagles Nest and so forth. The Screaming Eagles, specifically 3/506th PIR, saw all wakes of combat in Europe in WW2, paratroopers being deployed from the skies to wreak hell on the ground below. 3/506th PIR was formed at Camp Toccoa, Georgia, in 1942, where they also gained their nickname "Currahees" after the Currahee Mountain. 3/506th PIR, 101st Airborne Division will be making their way through World War II beginning from Operation Overlord.

The 17th Ranger Battalion is a multinational unit coming from the larger Iceberg Gaming Community. With years of experience in Arma MilSim, the 17th seeks to accomplish a variety of missions by successfully employing real-world tactics, logistics, support, and team coordination with deadly precision to come out on top. The 17th does not spend time worrying about minute military formalities - no need to worry about being punished for forgetting to add "Sir" at the end of the your sentence, or not acting subservient to those in charge - just a bunch of guys and gals focused on having a fun time and honing our skills in Arma.

The 17th operates on a heavy emphasis of "Real Life First", and you will not be expected to move mountains to be part of the community. Regardless of how many hours you have in Arma or experience in MilSim, you will be welcomed into the community with open arms. The 17th itself consists of people from all walks of life, and has a mixture of civilians and military - active, reserve, or retired - from around the world.

The 17th is always seeking mature members to add to the 50+ members attending our primary operations. In order to foster a mature community, all members must be 18 years or older.

The 17th focuses on ground operations supported by attached Mechanized and Air units to provide logistical or combat support. To facilitate that, the 17th is comprised of three companies:

Alpha Company - The primary infantry arm of the 17th RBN, conducting a variety of missions varying from airborne operations, town clears, ambushes, HVT elimination/hostage rescue, and several other flavors of action. Every aspect of infantry can be found in Alpha Company, and you can experience all of it if you so desire.

Echo Company - The primary support branch of the 17th RBN, assisting Alpha Company is all transport or logistical needs, completing artillery fire missions, or directly assisting Alpha in destroying targets using armor and Close Air Support/Combat Air Patrol aircraft. Echo focuses on highly specialized, highly effective support that can make or break an operation.

Operations: Our primary operations are every Saturday at 1900 CST. We have smaller side operations every Wednesday also at 1900, and a third operation in the week for those who can't get enough.

Trainings: Trainings are frequently scheduled throughout the week, and it isn't unheard of to have a week filled with trainings. In the 17th, you need only complete Basic Training and will not be on a quota to attend trainings. In the 17th, we don't believe in gatekeeping trainings, so we allow and encourage cross-company training as much as possible.

Other Events: We have a dedicated Persistent Server run by our parent community, Iceberg Gaming. The server runs Arma gamemodes like Antistasi and Hearts and Minds, and is also used to host other dedicated game servers when the community is interested.
