Hello! I was wondering what I should do with my current fight stick. I’ve been using this fightstick https://a.co/d/9yairkg on and off for a few years because I do not like how it feels at all. I tried to make it work multiple times but I hate how the buttons feel and also the joystick feels awful too. I can live with the buttons not being too great to use as long as they work however what I cannot say the same about the lever. The lever does not respond well at all, whenever I try to do a half circle motion it does not read my last input correct, I am moving my lever all the way to the 9 position and I do not get my character to preform a jump I need to move in some scuffed 8.5 direction so it even begins to read my jumps at all and trying to preform a dash input feels like the worst for me because it does not return to the neutral position well at all for me.
Needless to say, I did not enjoy using it. However, I heard I can exchange the joystick, add restrictors and the buttons to make that my fight stick feel better. So I would like to know is it worth it to just change out the parts or is it better just buy a whole new fight stick so I can work from there and maybe more easily customize it to my liking?
Hello guys.
I was used to play on a Nacon Daija Arcade Stick but it wasn't mine. My friend took it back and i'm seeking for a leverless now.
I'm used to play with the Sanwa button on the Daija and I'm afraid of the quality of the button on the cheaper model.
I'm poor as fuck, and not so good at DIY.
Do you have any recommendation about a leverless with Sanwa that will not include selling my organs ?
Hi all!
I have always been a stick player but I am now enjoying sf6 a lot and I think that using a hitbox could improve my game and accuracy.
Which haute42 hitbox is the best for sf6? I don't want it to be tiny, I love the idea of putting artwork easily. I saw, for example u16 and r16 but I can't really understand differences.
What model do you suggest?
Thanks!
Or am I better off going with the Aegis? Thanks so much!
Printing these and their counterparts for the bottom now and ordering magnets. Anyone who has purchased a CG from me in the past is entitled to this upgrade free of charge. Once testing is done, the updated parts will be available as a download or a as coupon for a free print of the 4 updated parts.
This is what I like about my design. Each part is updatable like this so that the design can evolve without needing to replace the whole enclosure.
Is there a way to remove the ability to turbo assign ? By holding any button + start you activate turbo for that button. In fighting games a lot of secret costumes require you to hold down start and a face button while selecting.
I also use this converter for dmc games and you basically have to hold buttons often coming out of the start menu to maintain stances or DTE charge and it’s just impossible to play because of that.
These are the only two situations I got this converter for and it’s so frustrating. Hoping there’s a tournament mode or something.
I’m a primary Xbox player that dabbles in pc/ps5 games
What’s a good universal beginner fight stick, that may or may not need a usb extender/xbox controller emulator usb stick or whatever it’s called lol
Just looking for some recs!
im thinking of getting my first fightstick but im not sure wich one i should get, right now im thinking between the:
mayflash f700 (138 EUR)
hori fighting stick alpha (162 EUR)
qanba Q3 obsidian silent arcade joystick (127 EUR)
i would prefer not to spend too much money but i also want the best bang for my buck, could you guys maybe tell me which one you think would be a better pick and why?
Spending the whole day like this today. what’s everyone else playing?
Basically I got an emulation arcade cabinet for two players which is pretty much a dual fightstick. Works well for arcade emulation but when I tried to setup skullgirls on it it will not let me bind player two controls.
I imagine it views the fightstick input as a computer keyboard and thus only one controller. Any work arounds?
The Hitbox Arcade C.O.M.B.O. Button is a relatively easy, affordable and reversible mod for an F500.
Easier than building a stick from scratch and more affordable than getting a build commissioned.
For those who prefer to use their right thumb for Drive rush.
I've been using aB-10 fightbox for nearly a year, but I own the PC version as I play on PC. Does anyone know of any compatible converters for this brand so I can use this controller on a PS5 for locals?
Just got around to adding some art to my hori I picked up a few weeks ago.
So I won the contest drawing for a tekken 8 Heihachi Returns and I finally got my T-shirt and button. I am not trying to figure out the rest of the fight stick. Sadly they only gave the winners only one button. I have a Hori rap 4 or maybe I should just build myself a new stick.
I have scoured a lot of posts on here for similar issues, it seems that everyone has had success except for me. I will post everything I have done so far.
I have downloaded the latest Mayflash driver (1.16)
I have held the select and start buttons with the update application opened (the blue and green buttons on the stick do light up, so there is power getting through somewhere)
I have gone in to my bios and downgraded the port to 2.0
I have tried all the USB ports on my PC
I have tried all 3 modes (Xinput, controller mode, PS3)
I have a Mayflash adapter for my gamecube controller which works just fine and makes the connection sound when I plug it in, and pops up in Devices and Printers. When I plug in the stick, crickets.
Someone help plz ;-(
I seen it existed, am wanting to see some pics or ideally videos of how it functions and all that! I cannot find much on it, debating on updating to this soon https://arcadeshock.com/products/brook-ultimate-board-plus-retro-board?_pos=1&_sid=10035e17a&_ss=r Thing is wild and does what my ps360+ does and up to modern consoles lol so I wanna upgrade soon!
I seen it was an add on, so got curious to see how it works and yt was rather dry sadly! Thanks yall and hope everyones having a chill weekend :)
I’m looking at a few options for a new leverless but I’m always too concerned about the USB-C port. The FK2 is interesting but does anyone know if the support piece for the connector helps relieve stress enough? If not, what other models would you recommend based on how they handle relieve the connectors stress from the cable?
I bought a Haute42 S16 and loved it but the top USB-C port randomly disconnects after about 4 months so now I’ve got the cord taped to the bottom to relieve stress for the other port until I buy something else. I know these connectors are always the weakest link so that’s why I’m sweating over it so much.
I could afford whatever but I only play on PC and would like to spend <200.
I have 150$ to spend for a fight stick and I want a high quality one that will last me and I'm able to mod it pretty easily and I looking at the f500 flat cause it the cheapest one on the market right now any other recommendation instead or if I should save up for something else
Hello friends, I found this article for the traditional Sanwa lever, although I did not find it for sale. Anyway, do you think something like this could work to reduce noise?
Hi everyone,
Tech support:
I've just bought the R16 and I'm having a bit of a problem figuring out how to properly mapping it for SF6 in PC. In game, you can go to control settings and assign buttons to different actions or combinations. So, it's easy to put LS to Throw for example. The problem is, that there are no "buttons" in the game for M1, M2 (and afaik, Home and - either). I reckon you need to go to the web configurator and do something there but I'm lost.
In game, you don't see M1, M2, Home or -, so how do you assign them to a function?
Mapping suggestions:
I've look around and it seems that the consensus is to at least mapped DI and Parry to a button (M2, RS and LB are the most used because of their placement). Other than that, I've seen people mapping Throw, character depending functions (I play Luke, I don't know if there's one useful for him), and QoL options (like Fn for the Lab). So far I managed (as you can see in the picture) to map DI, Parry and Throw. With the idea of mapping Fn to M1, and I have no idea of what to do with the other two extra buttons :-) Any suggestions are more than welcome!
Thanks in advance! I've wasted too much time banging my head against the wall with this xD
Yeah I'm planning to buy a mayflash f500 flat and then later on add on to it but the thing is I'm on confuse (ps5) and I have no clue what adapter to buy cause they have so many and when I look at video they are very like vague
So Street Fighter 6: Type Arcade released and from what I understand besides playing on the machine itself it has a USB port that you can plug controllers in. Anyone know what kind of controllers the machine works with? Is it just a PC in there? If anyone has experience, I'd really appreciate some info.
In extension to that, a lot of modern arcade machines with fighting games also have the USB too so if anyone wants to chime in about other arcade machines' compatibility, please feel free to do so.
