Hi guys. I recently picked up tekken 8. Love it to death, always liked tekken. But this time its different, im really getting into the details of how to play. Im finding a ps5 controller lacking for movement and quick inputs. I saw someone in person using a mayflash f300 and it looked great, responsive and concise inputs. Id love something pretty budget like this to start. Is there any recommendations you have for someone new to it for 2024? Is there anything like the mayflash f300 but doesnt need converter for PS5? Thanks for the help
Hello so I ordered the Japanese lever from Asi. Got the installation just fine. Loving it. But when I ordered the Japanese set up I thought it was going to come with the square/octangle gate that the levers come with. It came with the switches. So is it a Korean lever than? I am happy with my purchase either way and after I placed the order that is when I learn I could also build and customize a lever. I was just surprised when I got it, it didn't come with the Japanese gates so I was just wondering if I just ordered a Korean lever with ball top?
Does any one have any recommendations on how to print with the correct proportions from GIMP to a regular HP Deskjet? The print always comes smaller than the GIMP setup metric size.
Have a small keyboard I just got for Tekken, however, when I'm playing intensely it keeps sliding and slipping on the desk. its not much better on my mousepad and its too small to fit in my lap. Anyone have any recommendations for that shit to STAY in place with minimal movement
I've been wanting to upgrade my tiny leverless to a bigger one and have been eyeing the U16 for a long time. I'm basically 95% convinced that's the one I want to, but before pulling the trigger I thought I should ask what people think about it and if there are any other options you'd reckon are better? I love the option to customizability of it and the rims look great, kinda like arcade buttons.
to those who have the controller, what do you think about it?
Hello, I am a traditional FG player and actually I play to Smash in addition to SF, TK, etc... and I want to know if it's possible to use a Brook UFB PCB to made a Smashbox or not?
Because honestly, I don't want to have a lot of controllers in my backpack for every FGC tournament I participate. (Please no debate about "Smash is a FG or not" lol)
Thank you.
PS: Before someone say why I don't play with controller to Smash, it's simple: I main Kazuya (I know, shame on me), but it's really hard for me to made EWGF input with joystick.
Hello I’ve made a post yesterday about the 8bitdo Xbox arcade stick but I’m having a really hard time trying to open it up. Can someone that has opened it up tell me what screwdriver I need I’ve tried 2 T10 Multi kits and it doesn’t seem to work one of them was a torx T10 multi kit but idk
Messing with photopea (an online photoshop) I made this. I know the paper I used it's not the best for this, but I wanted to try something until my board arrive hahaha. (hopefully the board will arrive soon)
I keep seeing people post that it’s not possible. But I swear I’ve seen people use these conversion ports at tournaments to plug their older Gen PlayStation fight sticks into modern consoles. Does anybody know what I’m talking about?? Do these conversion hardware pieces exist for ps4 to Xbox series ?
Hello everyone! Hope everyones having a good time
I just recently bought a mayflash f300 stick (loving it so far) and i was planning to upgrade the buttons just to get a feel of what upgrading a stick feels like however...
Is it just me? Or for some reason the mayflash's default start button looks smaller in size than its standard blue buttons?
I was wondering if ever im going to buy premium buttons (e.g. sanwa), will it fit the start button hole? Or is there a different sanwa button model dedicated to it? If so, what model is it?
thanks everyone!! <33
I played on pad controllers only and I mostly used the analog stick with occasional dpad inputs. Since I mostly used the analog stick I thought I might as well try an arcade stick so I bought a Mayflash F101 since it was cheap ro see if I liked it. Any tips for transitioning from dpad to arcade stick?
As title states, I usually play Tekken in a dimly lit room. I got tired of hitting the turbo button unintentionally so I put a piece of vinyl tape on me share button so I can reset the practice mode by feel. Deleted original post because of extra picture.
I'm going to be building a new fightstick in the not so distant future. I'm considering getting metallic buttons for this stick and I'm wondering what people's experiences are with each type of metallic button. I've heard iffy things about the 202s with paint flaking off and buttons sticking, I've heard the tabs on the Sanwa's break faster than the non-metalic buttons, and I've heard issues with the Gravities having bad ping, and self actuating in some cases. Anyone here have any input on these options? If I don't go for Metallic buttons I will likely go with translucent buttons instead.
Still deciding on a name tho
Earlier this year one of the most trusted suppliers of arcade parts seem to randomly close and left most of us having to import from Mainland Europe which can get pricey.
Last week while I was doing my monthly check to see if Arcade World had come back I stumbled in to a forum to see a new start up advertising themselves.
So I reached out to their sales email about getting a specific thing, which they didn't have but it started a back and forth conversation. I did order a new Sanwa JLX which was shipped out next day and arrived two working days later. I also have some springs and actuators on order.
The person I spoke to, Andrew was very personable, and has said he will try and order some of the things I want from their supplier in Japan.
If your UK based and looking to buy parts definitely give these guys a look. It's a significant saving offer paying postage fees from France.

If you don't see what you want give their sales folks a email.
I did ask about the Otto V5 although not sure if that is something we stock, but the more of you that ask might change their minds.
