so, im playing a modpack of my own with aquaculture 2, and i have a diamond fishing rod with luck of the sea III, so what are my chances of getting neptune's bounty?
I can’t find a good enough answer on google and I was wondering what the best specs were,Ty for helping
I've tried a bit of popular modpacks (BetterMC, Cisco, Prominence II (before the newest update), RLCraft, CTF2 (quit midway) etc etc.) and most of them don't seem well though-out or polished.
It's either they are completely unfair, repeating mods, stupid mechanics (scaling levels with distance), broken progression/boring quests, lack of direction etc.
The only modpack I recently played that I could tell was well polished and thought-out is Rebirth of the Night, not glazing but just two cents where you can tell the modpack devs really put time and effort with custom mods and configs to make entire modlist seem seamless like one mod & progression is pretty fun.
I am looking for type of modpack, preferably adventure, that has that same level of polish & uniqueness, I don't really care if it's older modpack or not.
I’m running Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric, and I’ve installed like 33 mods. Most of them are focused on performance optimization or adding small, basic features like zooming or convenience tweaks (nothing like cheats or hacks).
Here are my system specs:
Here’s the list of mods I’m using:
The issue I’m having is that my game runs at the same FPS with mods as it does without them. Sometimes, with mods enabled, my laptop heats up a little bit more, and the game freezes for a few seconds every 10 minutes or so.
Could this be caused by too many mods, or is there something else I should check? Also, I’d love advice on which mods I could remove, replace, or add to optimize my list further.
Thanks in advance!
how to grow foxii saplings into trees, ive been testing it on my creative world and et randomtickspeed to 9999 and it still wont grow
So I've installed the modpack Mystic Horizons on CurseForge.
But I don't seem to find which mod this pillar belongs to.
They just keep spawning everywhere in the world, Anyone knows?

The idea of this modpack is to make vanilla feel fresh and more challenging again but still keeping its spirit intact. It's supposed to feel like playing Minecraft for the first time again.
I'd best describe it as a "What i want vanilla to be like if updates weren't such nothingburgers nowadays" type of modpack, or "WIWVTBLIUWSNN" for short. (hehe)
Those looking for automation, machines, quests, etc. should look elsewhere though, as i haven't included a single one of such mods. (because it's meant to be vanilla-like)
Bloat is also kept at an absolute minimum thanks to the 69 (nice) mods limit i've kept to myself.
It's a great way to ease friends (or in my case my brother) into modded Minecraft, who may not know much or anything about Minecraft mods. It's all simple & easy to understand and you're never required to look up a wiki to understand what a mod or item can do or how to do something. It's still Minecraft through and through, but with more content and some changes in the recipes, item properties, mob behaviors, etc. to make it more difficult and rewarding to play.
Even though the mod selection is fairly small, i did spend a most of the time tinkering each and every component of the included mods here and i made sure to integrate a good bit of the modded items into loot tables & trade pools, make changes & rebalances where i see fit, and nullified (hopefully) all duplicate items as best as i could to make the pack feel more cohesive and less lazily thrown together.
The main attractions are:
Some noteworthy advice to get started:
Needs a minimum of 4GB RAM to run, but 5GB is preferable. I believe an 8GB system should be able to play it without much issues regardless. Though if you have 16GB or more i do recommend allocating 6GB, as some of the huge structures tend to eat away at RAM quite substantially compared to just walking around a flat land.
Performance is 50-100fps on an i3 12100 with Intel UHD 730, 300-700fps on a Ryzen 5600X and 700-1200fps with a Ryzen 7800X3D. All systems have been tested at highest graphics settings and 16 chunks. Server performance stays at a relatively stable 20 TPS (15-30ms latency) across all tested devices but can drop very slightly when generating many new chunks too quickly. It shouldn't be noticable though.
Anyway have fun and feel free to let me know what you think!
Hello, I am trying to go for a tank build, and I got one of the 'capstone' skills, Warrior's Devotion. However, when I try to build into another skill, S'kellak's Blessing, it is greyed out.
Are you only able to invest in a single capstone skill? Thanks!
Hey guys, I'm looking for a good expert mode pack to puzzle my way through during my time off right now. I was enjoying ATM9 earlier this year, but it left me craving that extra difficulty of having tweaked recipes that for you to delve into unfamiliar mods and to set up automation to help with more resource intensive recipes. I have no idea what's what right now as I haven't played since the summer.
Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions! <3
I followed TheBreakdown's tutorial on how to start a server, except i left the launch helper where it was and didn't edit its contents because it caused errors for me and several comments said not to. I'll execute the 16gb launch helper and after it'll run fine until after foodplus it'll say "Exeption in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" [17:03:30] [AWT-EventQueue-0/INFO] [STDERR]: [java.lang.Throwable$WrappedPrintStream:println:-1]: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java Heap Space" and other amounts of RAM also give the same error. Is there something obvious that I'm doing wrong or a better tutorial/method to launch crazycraft 3 and make a server?
Aether redux promises a new moa model, but it doesn't appear in my world, why?
As title says, been having some trouble getting these things to behave. Have changed just about every setting, killed/repopulated the farms manually, changed the swords, replaced the rancher, upgraded the rancher. They breed, until the cap I set, but won't kill the animals. Note the issue hasn't always been present. They worked for a while then seemingly gave up for no reason.
Each rancher also only has 1 animals type allocated to it as I've heard they have some trouble dealing with multiple.
Running on fabric 1.20.1
Any help or info is greatly appreciated, thanks!
Basically, I've already made some progress in my current world, but I just discovered that it generated as an island, and I'd rather have normal land. Is there a way I can save the area I've built in while changing the rest of the world to a new seed? I assume there are tools to do this, but I don't know how well they work with modded saves.
Im currently playing the direwolf 1.20 Pack with more or less 40fps.
I have already 10GB RAM for it but i think i should be able to get more fps with my PC.
(sorry for the german system)
I used to have a mod that added a few mobs. One of them was a raptor like dinosaur that spawned in the mushroom fields. I believe 1.19.2 was the version. Does anyone know what that mod was called I can't seem to find it. Thanks!
I’m making a modpack with resources spread out over the world and I want to try and encourage transportation to be create trains and limiting making nether portals was one of the things that’s on my plans.
What I wanted to do was something like the rifts from YUNGs Better Portals but it seems they’ve stopped updating the mod so that’s a no go
I was thinking of having a single portal in the center of the world at spawn though I’d either have to build it myself which I’d rather not do cause I wanted to start naturally without having to do anything manually, so what mods are there that I may not know about that change how nether portals work?
Some people put trucks all around my base and locked them so we can't remove them, on a creative test world I found I could bring the health to 0 but it doesn't disappear
We are stuck in our base now until they move it or we find a way to remove them ourselves
I have been looking everywhere and searching up hot to find the pocket dimension spell. However, nothing says anything about hot to get it. Is it not obtainable in survival?
I'm trying to play Minecraft 1.21.4 and most of the mods I'm using have updated or already work on 1.21.4, except for Traveler's Backpack.
Any news of when Traveler's Backpack will be updated to work on 1.21.4?
Unfortunately, this quest cannot be completed. Probably because it has no reward.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Using any mod I need to increase the harvest level of diamond ore from requiring an iron pickaxe to something higher like a diamond pickaxe, but keeping all other harvest levels the same.
The help will very much appreciated.
would apprecieate anything nice looking
