RULES
1) Treat others with respect. Do not intentionally start arguments, do not fuel the fire. If you must disagree with someone, do so politely, and walk away from heated conversations. Violation of this rule may result in a ban.
2) Respect others' birthing/parenting choices, even if they don't align with your own. Do you disagree with home births? Do you disagree with hospital births? Are you against epidurals or unmedicated birth? Are you an avid advocate for vaginal birth over c-section? It doesn't matter! If you disagree, do not comment. Remember that we are all aiming for happy, healthy babies in the end. Certain "hot topics" like circumcision and vaccination should be avoided in general. Members who break this rule will be banned.
3) Discussion of medical topics is allowed, but remember that we are not medical professionals. Asking other users about their personal experience with medical practitioners, procedures, or appointments can be valuable, but Reddit is NOT a source of medical advice - please contact your healthcare provider(s) if you require precise medical guidance.
4) Discussion of sensitive and triggering topics is allowed but please include "Trigger Warning" or "Fears" in your post title when posting potentially triggering content. Loss, trauma and anxiety are a part of our human experience, and supporting each other through talking about them can be incredibly helpful. However, some users wish to avoid such content; titling your post appropriately will help them do so.
5) Spam posts, trolling, and posts with the goal of personal promotion will be removed. Enough said.
6) Report posts or comments that show suspicious or disrespectful behavior. Reports to the moderators are anonymous, and help keep the environment of the subreddit safe and supportive.
