Hey group hope this is okay to post here. I have an old account I haven’t used in 13 years. Something happened at the time I don’t remember what but I couldn’t log back in so I just created a new account and moved on. I’ve never been able to get back into it and just sort of forgot about it. Problem is I know the password but when I log in it says the account is locked and that no one can view the account but I can see all my public posts when I view it from my account. It’s very embarrassing and people probably try to message it thinking it’s me. And probably see all my cringey status updates from when I was 14 and younger. I don’t know what to do. I figured after a certain period of inactivity it would delete itself or something but obviously that isn’t the case.

Is there anything I can do here? I’ve tried reporting the profile and trying to recover it that way but all it says is to change the password. I tried that and it still just says the account is locked. This is very embarrassing to remain up. Thanks in advance!

I unfriended then blocked someone on facebook. To me and to this person our likes and comments disappeared. BUT to our in commons friends my likes and comments still shows up on their profile and vice versa.

I want to find a way to delete my likes and comments

When i went to “log activity” to delete my likes and reactions on this person’s profile i couldn’t find them (since i blocked the person i guess) but i found some interaction that doesn’t have active links could’ve they been my reactions to this person’s content?

Does anyone have a way to delete all my likes and comments on this person’s profile?

Looking for a way to turn off Facebook page notifications. Our agency is connected via Meta business manager. Currently we have 3 colleagues assigned to the page.

Only one of colleagues actually needs to follow notifications the page gets. Other people manage ads and supervise content.

How to turn off notifications for these two colleagues of mine? If we turn off notifications when we are signed in as a page - notifications are turned off for all the page administrators.

Does anyone know how I can cancel the deletion of my Facebook account? Not 30 days have passed, and when I enter the "Meta" and enter the profile to try to cancel the deletion, an ad pops up and tells me that an error occurred, to change the settings later, when I accept another ad appears and says " "Invalid linked accounts" unknown error, does anyone know what I should do?

I am locked out if my fb account until I set up Facebook Protect. The final step is to reenter my password but I can't remember it.

Since the professional mode has came out I have never had it i thought i would give it a little time since the feature was fairly new but I have tried everything and every single video tutorial but this feature just wont appear idk what the hell to do at this point. What's considered a reasonable resolution time for an ad-account that had all safety measures in place, that was compromised (who knows how? - Facebook does) and that has seen us submit enough supporting documentation to sink the titanic, to get a reply - that is not we love/understand/feel your pain and we are working on it?

Any tips from people here as we're stuck between a rock and a hard place. Should we simply threaten legal action? Judging by the way FB behaves in the mainstream, I'm thinking we should simply ignore their support and go straight in with the lawyers.

Those cunts somehow got into my account, changed my email and who knows what else - and now I'm locked out. Can't log in cause fb wants to verify me - but it only sends the verification request to the scammer's email... I can't even log in with my own email anymore, cause it tells me the account doesn't exist (it still does - just with the changed addresses). It's an absurd loop and fb seemingly offers no way to even report this without being logged in.

Please help...!

As the title says, the facebook messenger app in my android device stops working when I try to call someone. I tried reinstalling, clearing the cache, and force stopping it but it still won't work. My device's android version is 14.

Is there any fix for this?

Facebook won't let me log into my account and reading the threads here it seems that it's impossible to get my account back.

So, plan B - how do I get my data from Facebook?

Apparently they send you the data they have? or you can download your facebook page or something?

The two things that I really need

1. my saved posts / videos - access to this.

2. messages I sent myself.

Has anyone tried getting their data from Facebook? Is this possible?

I recently created a Facebook account in order to get in touch with some of my friends. This was the first and only Facebook account I ever made and I recently got a notice that my account was suspended despite me not using it for even a day. Is there anyway to ensure this does not happen again?

Hijacked account put "come date me" spam all over user's comments or replies.

When I assume the role of the page, I can see the comment but I cannot click on the user's name to get to their profile - presumably they blocked the page.
I cannot find their name when I go to block them in Settings for the page (presumably because they blocked the page).
I cannot block them by user ID

I can assume another user or another page I manage and click on their name on the comment to get to the profile.

They periodically will unblock the page, spam it again, block us, and we are left with no recourse - we can't prevent future spammy and Facebook does nothing with my reports (as usual).

This seems a bit.. uh.. bad. A user can shit all over our page, block the page, and we can't block them. Then they unblock us, shit all over us again, and block us.

I requested from Facebook a copy of all my Facebook messages be sent to Dropbox. An email from Facebook says, "The transfer of a copy of your information to Dropbox has finished. Please go to Dropbox to review your files." When I go to Dropbox, I cannot find the files. I've searched on "Facebook," "Meta," "Transfer," "Archive," and "zip." Is the process just broken, or could I be doing something wrong?

It started a few days ago, and i would promptly report the content and block the account. This was fine and well until the tags in my notifications feed became too much to keep up with. This is ridiculous and I have no clue what could even be done.

So just created a new page and the status is good and fb says there is no community guidelines violation. But it also says restricted monetization because of policy violation. There is no content in my channel it's brand new.

My facebook account got hacked few months back and the person who hacked it just changed every credential , I am trying my best to recover it everyday because it has some of the only few memories of me and her and it is really close to me , but when i tried to recover it , i changed the email somehow and was trying to change the password but this pop up came , and now i am hardstuck . mbasic login error on macbook

I would use facebook mbasic on my iphone because it let me view comment notifications from the comments plugin on other sites, but suddenly all those kinds of notifications disappeared, both on mbasic and regular facebook (which is a whole other issue entirely). I logged out and logged back in to try and fix it, but now I'm suddenly getting this error page telling me to use another device.

I tried logging onto mbasic on my android tablet and I would get the same page, then I tried it on my macbook and it's still the same page. However, when I login to my other account of another email, it works and it opens to the regular mbasic page. But why is it this account specifically? I know I'm not banned because I can still log in to regular facebook and the facebook app, but I much prefer the mbasic interface and would like to continue using it. Any help is appreciated.

On my homepage it says I have 5000 friends, but when I look at the friends list it says I have 4913. Why is this? Are they including groups you follow as part of your friends list?

For anyone who's curious about why I have so many friends, it's because I've been working on a project for about eight years collecting individuals with my common last name. It's some thing that I've just been doing for fun.

My partner should be the first suggestion to tag as I often use it but isn’t available to select. Instead the suggestion comes up with people I rarely or never interact with (never mind tag).

Even when I start typing the name, it’s one of the last options to pick.

When I search on this topic I see lots of other people with the same issue, but no solution has been provided.

It’s not the end of the world - just annoying. How can I fix this?

I was locked out of my account about a month ago and have now spent several weeks repeatedly going through the account review process. I have tried all the different forms of ID I have and every single time get stuck in the same section.

I am able to verify my email, get the code, submit my ID and get a confirmation email saying they are reviewing it within 48 hours. I wait the 48 hours and (usually earlier) it says a decision has been made and sent to you email. This is the part Im stuck with, as I never receive an email after this step, and my account is still locked. Has anyone gone through anything similar and does someone hopefully have a solution?
