Hi there! I'm Lawrence, a 22-year-old feminine and Asexual boy, and I've created a little Discord server to get Asexuals together to make friends!

I decided to make this Discord server after I've noticed that there are meeting places online to find Asexuals, but not really any Discord servers dedicated to it. I love to make new friends, and would love to create a safe space for Asexuals - as well as any other members of the LGBT community - to get together and just hang out!

Hell-O! My name is Lawrence, I'm a 22 year-old asexual feminine male, residing out of the eastern USA, and I've pieced together a little Discord and YouTube channel, with the prime objective of getting the Asexuals together, for making friends!

Eight years ago, I did YouTube pretty much full-time. After a few years of it, though, real life stuff came up, which involved me having to run away from home, get my first job while I was still in school, and more, so I couldn't really record videos anymore. However, now I'm 22 with a full-time job and stable income, so I can afford to do YouTube and participate on Discord again!

Instead of making a YouTube and Discord with no clear objective, I thought it would be a nice way to get the Ace community together! A safe place for people to get together and just hang out or make friends!

Someone on AsexualDating catfished me a while ago. Am I the only person on here that has ran into a catfish on here? The person posted a lot oh here and similar subs.

I fell in love with a fake person and now I’m still heartbroken.

​

I even took a big break from social media and deleted everything of my social media for I could become a recluse.

​

I should’ve listened to the red flags but I spent months dating this fake person before I found out everything was a lie that was made up.

This subreddit is not a safe space. A lot of ace people are nice but some are scummy, no group is immune to bad apples.

I wonder if the catfish is now using my info/pictures to catfish people. Its a possibility.

Im still learning how to trust people again in general.
