I recently updated from FL20 to FL24 and although i can open projects just fine. Any older projects i want to save after working on them gives me this error.
I've been wanting to make a track with orchestral percussion and downloaded a sample pack called Percussion Instruments 2.
However, when I try to place the wav. samples on the playlist, they sound in a completely different pitch than in the preview, as you can hear in the video, and I can't understand why.

Is there any way I could fix this?
ive had fl studio for less than a day and tried using the synth, when I add a beat to the channel rack the synth makes noise for a long time but then when i extend it on piano roll it sounds normal. is this meant to happen?
I'm just trying to use triplet swing in something, and I have two questions:
First, I don't know how to quantify a percentage. It sounds like triplets around 67%, so that's what I'm keeping it at. Does anyone know how the percentage translates to how long the down beat eighth note is held?
And now I have a second problem. If I try to write in triplets in the piano roll, those are all wonky because it's still swinging the eighth notes. Would I just need to rewrite the whole thing in triplets if I want to add any?
Guys pls help
I feel like my Flex folder is missing files, but i dont know where download them. This is how it looks
I've been working with FL studio for the last 5 years and want to expand what I'm doing percussion wise. I have a good background in music and music theory. Are there any videos or creators that you all can recommend to check out? Asking reddit is my go to these days lol
When I drag a oneshot into the piano roll and play it in c5 it plays a different pitch than it does in the original sample. Why does it do this and is there a fix or is it supposed to be like this
edit, my sample had resample enabled instead of stretch lol

Timestamp of the sound: 3-27 seconds. I love the sound of the electric guitar that's being played and I would like to achieve the same sound within FL Studio.
Is there a soundfont or a plugin that can achieve this sound? I've been googling around but I've never found a soundfont that gets this exact sound. Any help is appreciated!
Don't know where to post this, I haven't seen anyone else have this problem, but I did and this post may help someone else who is experiencing the same issues with this VST or another 3rd party VST.
I was getting buffer artifacts with the free Shine reverb VST no matter what my buffer settings were or what driver I used.
I fixed it by going to the VST wrapper settings > Troubleshooting > Use fixed size buffers
Solved the problem.
How can I make it so I see the effects under the fader and etc.
Hi, for a while now I've been facing an issue where my files are not saving properly most the time. As I work on a project I do "ctrl+s" multiple times throughout but when I reload the file it shows that my changes have not been made. The only way I've worked around this is to "Save as" on my projects, but then I end up making more copies than necessary.
What I have also noticed is that if I change the folder name/flp name there are no backups saved at all despite having it enabled in my settings for 5mins. If I don't change the project name I do have backups, but once again I cannot save it normally.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Im just wondering how to get a out of tune piano sound kinda just like in this video
"Old Doll" [Out of Tune version] - Madfather OST #14 - Piano Cover (Visualizer)
Anyone know what kind of plugins were used in Clams beats? it’s like that ambient lucki and rocky sound. If anyone can show me some I’d greatly appreciate, those are one of my fav type beats.
For example i pulled up Vital or serum but i didnt mean to and now it shows up in the plugin picker and sorta takes up space and ram, how do i close a plugin from a project? Thanks in advance
I noticed, that sometimes when i export something, i hear a loud click on the beginning. Just few minutes ago i started consolidating midi channels to wav and they had the same thing, but it wasnt noticable, only when made louder and i was wondering why is it happening. Could it be because of my pc or is it just fl studio's fault?
It's not really a problem when im consolidating midi patterns, but it's kinda bothering me when the final render has this artifact at the beginning.

Hello Everyone
I'm just new to the FL Studio and want to start makin projects with my church band (worship and so), you know it's christmas season and we want to make a christmas song, I almost have the most part of it but right know I'm looking to add more ambient to the mix and also some christmas bells and jingle bells to it
Do someone have some recommendations? I don't know if there is already sounds like this on the software or I need to download it from a third party
Thanks in advance! any other recommendation will be appreciate it
I managed to finally find a fix to the infamous VST flickers, as well as a (somewhat) fix to the black rectangles appearing under windows. This shall mostly serve as a guide for installing FL on Linux however.
The best tool for running FL and most Windows software I've found is Bottles. Normal Wine should work too but Bottles has a far nicer interface and tends to handle a lot more in the backend like setting up Vulkan <-> DirectX translation via DXVK.
Run Executable...
- NOTE: As of writing, FL Studio 24 will try to install Edge WebView but it will never finish installing it. FL will still work fine without it, but if you want to use FL Cloud stuff I'm pretty sure it'll work if you install webview2
via the bottle's dependencies taballfonts
,vcredist6
,vcredist6sp6
,vcredist2005
for good measure (probably not necessary but I always do this for any new bottle I make since those are common for most real world Windows installs)FL64
in Programs, Change Launch Options
, and disable DXVK.C:/Program Files/Image-Line/FL Studio 2x/FL64.exe
FL64.exe
in the Applications tab, then switch to the Libraries tabC:/Program Files/Image-Line/FL Studio 2x/System/Tools/Bridge/*bit/ilbridge.exe
(only one seems to show up in WineCFG after you add them, but it seems to be referencing both)ilbridge.exe
in the Applications tab, then switch to the Libraries tabDone!
This isn't perfect, since it does make FL Studio more sluggish, but the only real solution to the flickering is a special patch for FL Studio that someone with more time on their hands than me can contribute to DXVK or Wine.
I will continue updating this every once in a while, feel free to comment if you have any additions and i'll try updating this post.
You may continue enjoying your free lifetime updates on Linux now!
I want to be able to play out all my drums on my drum pad. I want to play the kick the snare and the hats and I want to route them to each pad. Instead I can only play one instrument in different keys. As you can see when I try to hold shift and select channel rack mode it only gives me 5 options (scale chord, user chord and three custom options)
I installed all the drivers and downloaded all updates. Maybe my settings are incorrect?
I was told that if you want to use 808’s or bass guitar that to drag it to the channel rack and use piano roll, but when I do that the notes are so low that I can hardly hear them. I need so tips please with 808’s in piano roll
I don’t mean flip notes vertically or horizontally, I want only a single note to be reversed, specifically a hi hat. If someone could help me that would be great.

Hi, I would like to do a clean install of my Mac, by distributing on good bases, having 2TB of internal storage I used to install everything on it, document, DAW, project, library, everything.
By informing myself I realized that it would be better to have different hard drives, like in the attached image, what do you think, do you have any advice to better organize yourself?
