Hello everyone, I’ve been playing eso for 4 years on and off. I wanna get into builds, PVE specifically. So I wanna ask you guys to help me. I need build for beginners no trial gear, just a simple build. I doesn’t need to be meta just to start
Hey there, just got into the game through the recommendation of a friend, I cant really seem to find one place full of builds for the current update of the game so imma try here. I'm looking for a 1 bar dps arcanist build, can be either stam or magika.
What are the best skills/weapon types to use for a tank Templar running dungeons?
Recently made the decision to switch to deadly strike from storm masters. I'm a HA high elf magsorc 1 bar oaken build with Sergeants mail, and slimecraw head.
My question is what type of enchantments should I put on the deadly strike gear, or if any at all
Hi, any ideas for sets an imperial solo necro, 2 hander brawler?
Is there any builds out there that matches more standardized rpg classes?
Like I want to enjoy those game, even bought the CE back at release because I love the ES franchise. But so far I only log on and play a new character ever 18monts or so, just can't get in to it, and what puts me off the most is how the classes/combat seem to work.
Everything when I look up builds, even a Stam melee fighter build, it feels like it's mostly: add that buff, add that debuff, weapons swap to staff and put down evil netherwortex of some element, use one melee weapon ability, then throw fireball of scorching pain and so on.
Like I just want to play a meleebuild with swords and a bow or something of that kind.
My arcanist is currently stam dps. Deadly, Orders and a slimecraw piece.
I'm looking at the rest of the skills and looks like this class could be a solid tank or healer. I only have one open armory slot.
Is arcanist accessible early to powerful builds for either tank or healer that you wouldn't mind teaming with in dungeon or archive content? If so, would you mind pointing me in the right direction to a build so i can farm the gear? All I see is "immortal" this and "op" that on youtube or build sites.
Do detect pots cancel a nightblade's invisibility, or is it solely for people that are crouched in stealth?
Got the games years ago and stopped playing because of eso+, is there a class that needs less inventory weight in general and is more f2p friendly? Havent found answers to that specific question before Thanks!
Edit: i wouldnt mind buying a dlc, as long as i dont have to pay monthly
Does anyone know what, if at all threads of war interacts with werewolf form? If its procs sunder that would be a great addition to armor pen from the minor breach.
Hey guys been playing a tonne of my range plar recently and it’s performing unbelievably well.
Now i have a theory and stay with me on this, theoretically the combo is comet + javelin + glory beam and it will kill.
Now can i use magnum shot to get that stun off on any class?
The question is what class should i play?
Bow sorc / Bow nightblade / bow templar are currently on my mind for this theory crafted build. I would test all characters but sadly i dont have the gold / materials on Eu xbox to be able to test these ideas out.
Anyone made something like this before? If so how did you get on with it. Thanks
Hopping back into ESO but switching to pc this time, does anyone know of any links to good builds for a wood elf? I prefer a stam dual wield+bow char but that's about as far as I've gotten :) any help is appreciated
Hello, i started playing ESO a lot, i have one char. Mag dps DK, and crafting alt, i thought of starting new character, to just level the horse and do writs, and later play it normally like a main, o thought about doing mag sorc, but i read that he uses daggers, and i use them with DK, and i want bow or staff, so i thought about warden, but i dont know anything about him, then tank necro came in mind, and that sounds perfect, but i read that tank necro has really small dps, and also, can i solo with necro? because i play mainly solo, sometimes in group.
Currently running:
3 heavy 4 medium
Edit: I’m getting clapped
Recently just got my plar geared and looking for range plar builds ideally want a cyrodil build and a duelling build.
Any recommendations for either setups? Im a breton and have access to all dlc
Hello everyone! I have been putting together a heavy attack build for my wife. ( she struggles with bar swapping )
And the gear sets I keep seeing online are 5x Sargent’s. 1x Oakensoul. 1x Slimecraw or pen set. And either Storm Master or Noble Duelist or Deadly Strike.
The problem I have is that I cannot find a clear answer on whether or not Deadly Strike effects heavy attacks with a lightning staff.. some sources say that it only effects the two dot ticks before the final tick and others have told me that deadly strike effects the entire heavy attack because it’s a “channel”
Can someone please help clarify this for me? Or post screenshots with and without deadly strike equipped? Thanks for all the help Reddit!
Curious about the change to glacial presence. I run fire & poison on my dual wield werewolf PvP build now but this could make frost interesting.
Hey! I know that this is a bad choice for pvp build but I really like to play with S&B and want to have impact in pvp.
About skills I use Reapers mark, Siphonic strikes, Merciless Resolve, Shielded Assault and Power Slam.
With skills I think it’s fine but what about sets? Right now I’m using Medusa set 5 pieces and Knight Errants 5 pieces and Lover stone but outcome is really very low. It’s not necessarily to be heavy sets, I need some recommendations about sets, it can be med/heavy. I would be so grateful
Finally got my sorc to 50
I threw together a heavy attack build just with what I already had
Sergeants mail 5 pieces including lightning staff
Oakensoul
Then I’m still working on getting the correct slots of pieces of storm master to correct the HA build. Just filled in the rest with pillar of nirn for now
My question is more directed at BiS sets for sorc that are non heavy attack
For pve (vet content and trials dps)
And ESPECIALLY PVP
What set combos are BiS for pvp and separately for trial dps
Looking for whatever’s meta and good lol
Thanks all
Edit: oh and they don’t have to be one bar. I’m just going one bar oakensoul for HA. But down to one bar in pvp or trials as well if it’s good. But two bars is cool for anything
Hi Guys my build include have 5 pieces of Relequen, 5 pieces of Order's Wrath, and 2 pieces of Slimecraw. Should I stick with Order's Wrath, or is there a better option? I don’t have access to Pillar of Nirn yet and I mostly play solo.
Mundus Stone - Lover
Currently running Deadly + Prior Therric - I’d like my other 5th set to be something more pointed towards single target DPS - I’ve been told Coral, Nirn, even Kvatch. Any suggestions?
I may eventually swap out for a mythic necklace + monster one piece but right now this is what I’m aiming for
I made a Orc Cro themed after Azog The Defiler im not much of a bomber can't do it properly so I'm looking more for something with high burst damage maybe a DW fb. I dont have Gold Road yet an mossing the newer Mythics
Im returning from a 3 years (aprox) hiatus. And i’m looking at builds on interwebs… and don’t understand this kind of builds… please explain them to me as if I am 12.
So I’ve been curious , I recently got back into the game and have been playing mainly cyrodill and Imperial sewers. I just finished the build I’m going with which is 5pc Dedric trickery 5pcs pyrebrand 2pc bloodspawn
I don’t have the dlc for mythics but what thinking about getting eso plus for a few months to grind this out. Questions I have about mythics are am I really loosing out ? Would it make a big difference getting mythics? I also see on a build from skinny cheeks that he recommended 1 pcs monster helm 1 piece training 2x 5 pcs sets So does this make a difference? I’m a pretty casual player and ever since they made crowns harder to buy I haven’t really expanded on the game. Any advice is appreciated!
Any ideas for a good Stamina Warden build? With a parse of 80-100k?
I'm champion lv 1000 but I mostly did casual grinding by other means than pve and pvp. So for pvp and pve which one is better overall for DPS magic or stam? And what would be in said build? Armor etc
I’ve got a really good idea of what I want to do for my other builds for the most part, using advice from here and other places. For negate I’ve been told Arkasis, Hide of The Werewolf, Bloodspawn and Colovian Highlands General are good choices for the Ultigen. Can anybody put something together for me or show me a good one, tell me what you use? Like exact slots for gear, traits, enchants, etc. Best Skills. The Works. I’m having a blast in Cyrodiil and just wanna continue. High Elf if that changes anything. I also don’t have scribing just yet, but I plan to at some point get that.
My other builds that I’m working towards:
1 Bar HA - 64 Magicka - PvE (will change to 2bar eventually)
Sergeants Mail (SM) 5pc / Tharriker’s Strike (TS) 5pc / Slimecraw 1pc / Oakensoul
I was going to go Deadly Strike for the 1bar build but I also want to use some Transmutation stones for a PvP build so I’m going for the crafted set.
MagSorc Max Magicka - 64 Magicka - PvP
Crafty Alfiq (CA) 5pc / Mighty Chudan (MC) 2pc / Death Dealers Fete (DDF) / Trainee 1pc / Ancient Grace (AG) 3pc
Will Probably go Wretched Vitality / Crafty Alfiq to start with though.
Will also take advice or recommendations for the other builds I’m working towards.
Recently got back into the game and would like to get into battlegrounds with my magDK who is mostly used for pve content. Previously before i took a hiatus a few years back i was using stamwarden pvp
Whats good gear to run on magdk right now?
I didnt want to buy the dlc but its kinda mandatory i assume. I am using swallowblade high elf nb(soulcleaver-rally-balorg-markyn) its good i recommend.
I want to ask which skills can be replaced for my build
Also i do pvp at bergama , they have tanky nb build but doing much damage aswell, can any nb pro or bergame enjoyer tell me youe secrets
