Been playing again having fun leveling and all that when I got the idea to build a more flavorful character, specifically a witch hunter or Inquisitor type. No class specifically in mind, the flavor would be achieved using some of the items in my collection.
Then I thought about the Fighters Guild skills and I need the input of people who actually know what they're doing in this game. Ik I can play the game however I want, but hypothetically if I had 1 bar that was nothing but fighters guild skills on one bar and DK buffs on the back, would the result only be viable in low tier play? Id like to at least hold my own in a veteran dungeon. Are there sets that would benefit from the increased weapon damage? Has anyone made something similar?
Apologies, I genuinely have no idea what the damage thresholds are for PvP and various PvE
Greetings, whats the current build for mag-warden in 1v1 and 1vx.
It’s been 5 years, my main was dk tank and crafter I’m floored by the points returned and don’t know where to start.
I was a pretty accomplished tank at one point in time.
I don’t know what else I have hidden in a storage chest in a random house but set is currently.
Lord warden dusk heavy helm Lord warden dusk med shoulder Leeching heavy chest Leeching heavy hand Leeching heavy legs Leeching heavy feet Leeching heavy waist
Alkosh rings Alkosh neck Alkosh Sword and shield Alkosh lightning staff
Is this a viable match still or is redrafting going to be the next thing after I rebuild the crafter.
Any leads on points I’m so lost it looks like it’s a new system.
Thanks in advance!
Hey all returning player here. I am a champ level 800 templar with no set build whatsoever and was wondering where I should start. Also, was wondering what methods I should use obtaining what I might need. Thanks for any assistance at all!
So I'm running a Templar healer for PVP. I normally run with massive groups. Question is, which healing ultimate provides better survivability to my group?
I'm currently using Practiced Incantation as my "oh shit I need to heal people fast before we get wiped" ulti, but I've been considering the resto staff's ulti.
My Panacea is currently morphed to Life Giver and this sounds more powerful but I'm unsure if this affects everyone in my group or just a single ally. I'd need my ultimate to affect as many of my group allies as possible.
Thoughts?
Hello all. Recently looked at Xynodes latest update to his "Nature's Bounty" Warden build; this is somewhat the basis of my Argonian Warden Tank build. But I just recently God back into the game after a 4 year hiatus.
There's a couple sets and pieces you get through Imperia City and Alliance wars stuff. And was wanting to take this toon in to farm the telvar stones and alliance fragments to obtain these pieces.
Tried for about an hour yesterday. But between really shitty internet, typical glitching and lagging you get in any PVP stuff and my build not being close to optimized for PVP... yeah I got shredded.lol. I lost more Telvar stones than I banked.
Would an Ogrnum Scales (what I already have mostly Gold on this toon) + Plague Doctor's be possible? I'd have a shit tone of max health which would work with a couple of the abilities. But there really isn't much in the way of armor or crit resistance. If it might be possible... what glyphs and traits should I be looking for.
I currently have a Gold Troll Kings Visage for the head and Blackrose ice staff for the front bar. Which means I'd be lacking that last 2 pieces on Plague Doctors, any time I'm on the front bar.
Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. I usually don't care for much PVP stuff. And I know how bad at it I really am. If it weren't for a couple good set pieces that really play into this build, I wouldn't even be bothering with PVP.
Hey everyone, I’m wondering what class I should look into for main handing a bow. I would like to play as a Altmer I don’t know if that’s conflicting because bows use stam and they have a lot of magicka passives. I should mention I’m not looking for meta I’m listening to dialog and reading the lore as I go so I’m not in a rush to be the best yet but when it’s all said and done I don’t want an ass class. Any opinions would be appreciated thank you.
Hey everyone, i havent been playing long but ive tried out a few builds across youtube, websites and advice from guildmates.
Here's what ive come up with as a build for my warden. I would like to play pve and pvp so ill change a few skills around for pvp.
If anyone has some input love to hear, im not completely finished with it as i need to farm sets.
Fb Focused aim Cutting dive Deep fissure Bone shield Bird of prey Eternal guardian
Bb Endless hail Growing swarm Bull netch Leeching vines Lotus blossom Eternal guardian
Champion points Blue Reaving blows Wrathful strikes
Red Strategic reserve Rejuvenation
Gear I have the 2p maw of the infernal set Trying to get aeries cry set Need a 2nd set if to chase but im thinking leviathan for crit chance or spriggans thorns for penetration ?
Let me know the good, bad, ugly i would love to hear thought on this. Its the only "build" ive put together and a comfy rotation i can manage
Looking for suggestions sets to put Magcro dps. I looked up various builds, but they seem to go from BiS trail gear to beginners crafted gear without any suggestions for middle ground gear. Was thinking about Runecarver's blaze for all the dots but not sure what else to use. Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone, I'm a TES series passionate and a strange ESO player. I don't mind learning mechanics like weaving and managing stamina around 33% for Coral Riptide, but for some reason I just don't like bar swapping..I prefer only one bar builds.
I'm currently running my own stamina nightblade One bar build with Coral Riptide (Medium) + Pillar of Nirn + SlimeClaw Head (Light) + OakenSoul and getting 70k+ DPS on the 21M Trial Dummy
I'm a filthy casual and not trying to be the best DD out there, but I would like to join Vet Trials without being a heavy weight so I can farm over sets.
Can someone suggest me a one-bar stamina nightblade build that would achieve 80k-90k+ DPS?
I love this game, but I feel like I’m not playing it properly. I started from the beginning and did the base game for the ebonheart pact and I’m just going zone to zone 100% it then moving to the next, I’ll do dungeons with people and stuff but I have to be carried because I’m so weak, I can’t even do world bosses by myself and I’m cp 300. I don’t understand how you know what gear is good and what isn’t, I just wear armour that increases my stamina because I’m a stamina nightblade. I just feel like I’m missing something, I haven’t touched any of the dlcs even though I have them, I’m trying to play everything in order from the beginning. If anyone could help me that would be great
Lately in eso I have been running this off meta nb build and when I queue for random dungeons I get tanks who loose aggro fairly easily and notice even devoted tanks having issue keeping it or even taking it back until I go invisible.
I am running reliquins along with deadly strike. My enchants and traits are nothing unusual, some need replacement as the used is not optimal. Attributes are 8 vit rest stam.
Rotation is kind weird; First crushing weapon Auto attack woven into a septic blast Crushing weapon -auto into poison injection Crushing weapon - auto septic blast x2 Crushing weapon - auto relentless focus
The goal is simple keep poison injection upon, bow ult when up pair your crushing weapon give stack with the nb five stack This is also a two bar build as some skills are passive bar skills needed for sustaining and utility move speed
Lastly I am using the thaumaturgy cp ability as a lot of the damage and key types of damage are dots/bleeds and disease I have done a sim on a trail dummy and hold a 20-23k dps at just around 600 cp
I have been trying the Staff + 2H builds from both Skinnycheeks and Ninja pulls for my DPS mag warden, but I can’t seem to get any decent resource sustain out of them. I find myself running low on stamina due to slotting stampede, carve, shalks, and trap.
I have some mag sustain issues as well and I hear that the Mag Warden does struggle a lot with sustain.
Any advice on building a good mag warden that has good sustain?
As the title suggests. Looking to roleplay a thieving khajiit while earning gold for funsies.
Considering getting back into healing for a small scale(6man) Cyro group and I haven't full on healed in years...what are the top sets now for Breton Magplar healz...TIA
Hello there! I'm trying to breathe some new life into my first-ever alt, a Redguard DK. The goal is to make him viable for the content I usually pug, normal and veteran dungeons + normal trials, while still maintaining the witcher theme, respecting what's in the relevant books and games as much as I can. Going 2H/Bow for that purpose - the Witcherverse doesn't have Redguards, but it does have Zerrikanians and they like their bows.
In terms of content, I have permanent access to all the chapters, TG, DB, Murkmire and what we got for free this year (Orsinium + Maelstrom, Clockwork City, Fang Lair, Scalecaller Peak) and a few more days of Plus.
For gear, I'm looking at a setup taken mostly from Skinnycheeks: 1p Slimecraw med, 5p Runecarver's body, 5p Ansuul FB, Master's Bow BB. Divines + Max Stam on the armor, Bloodthirsty + Weapon Damage on the jewels, Precise + Flame FB, Infused + Poison BB.
Abilities are where I'm starting to have trouble. I'd like to source at least some of the following (equivalents of Witcher signs):
Aard: Knockback, stun, physical damage. I don't want real tanks and DDs who stack when needed to be mad at me. Can avoid.
Igni: Various types of flame attacks. I think the DK might have 1 or 2 of these.
Quen (Heliotrop, if we're being pedantic): Golden spherical damage shield. Could run Race Against Time on the BB for it.
Yrden: Traps, reduces mobility. Barbie Trap, Eruption and possibly Burning Talons should have this covered.
Axii: Fear/charm. Can avoid - Turn Evil is the only relevant ability I can think of here.
This leaves me with:
FB: Barbed Trap - Carve - Burning Talons / Torchbearer (Flame, Class Script, Minor Heroism) - Molten Whip - Venomous Claw. Ult: Flawless Dawnbreaker
BB: Eruption / Race Against Time - Endless Hail - Venom Arrow - Flames of Oblivion - Coagulating Blood. Ult: Standard of Might
Any feedback on the matter is appreciated - thank you in advance.
I have a stamblade, currently rocking nirn weapons and jewelry and vicious ophidian on body. If I swapped nirn to the body, and went weapons and jewelry to whorl of the depths would I see a decent increase in dps? I know rele is meta, but not trying to chase any leaderboards, just want to optimize with what I have
Can someone suggest an easy to obtain build for decently soloing resources on a nightblade if possible?
Thanks
I was wondering with the future Golden Pursuit content they're doing will they re-release rewards that people may have missed? like i know they will make new rewards obviously but will old rewards come back at all? it was only going on for a week so i didn't have much time to log because life was very busy. I was hoping they'd make the Nord Hero outfit available again at some point, does anyone know if it will be? thanks.
Hey all, I'm returning to the game with the intent to just get achievements completed. I'm 381cp with minimal equipment and very rusty memory of any dungeon content. I'm looking to just be able to do overland content (world bosses, dolmens, etc) and edge out those achievement points. Don't have any mythics and currently am not in a guild so no access right now to a crafter, though I can find one probably. Preferably a one bar setup would be nice but I'm definitely not opposed fo a 2 bar. I appreciate any help as I'm trying to navigate getting back into the swing of things, thanks.
Also why is the CP system so confusing now😭😭😭
Is this still a thing to maximize dps? I'm reviving my mag-arcanist, and the final touch is to decide on the primary weapon.
Do I run destro staff, or dual wield? If it's the latter, I assume the choice of weapon depends on what I feel is lacking in terms of stats? Only 9k pen is making the dual mace rather attractive. Ofc, the 12% dmg bonus to DOTs from infero staves is also tempting as hell...
Thanks^^
Looking for some advice on a PvP build for the warden, for Cyrodil in particular. Right now I’ve got a couple decent healer builds which I’ve been playing with for while. So I’m fine on the healer side.
However whenever I try to build for damage everything seems to hit like wet cardboard. Not sure where I’m going wrong.
On average I’m sitting at 4.5-5k spell damage, 9k pen, 2k crit resist and 28-30k resistances. The numbers look right from what I understand.
All the builds I’ve seen for warden get either minced or just do 3 digit damage on players. Is it just a “everyone’s a tank” meta at the moment?
Any advice would be welcome.
Hey all, I’ve been playing ESO for a long time, though casually and not really in a way that thought about builds. After fixing up my main with a nice build, I’ve been turning to my dragonknight character but am pretty disappointed.
What I need is a good PVE DPS build and PVP build. Only build I have some what enjoyed was a tank build, but then I can’t use that build for questing or for PvP. I have yet to find a build for PVE where I do acceptable dps.
Sets I have access to already are Hide of Morihaus, Deadric Trickery, Hunding’s, and Venemous, but I AM looking for set recommendations, if I have to chase them.
I’m new and have a Breton warden with scorch, the stamina based ice cloak, polar wind, wrecking blow and brawler so far. With no backup weapon because I’m stuck. I need to improve PVP because I just get wiped out. I’m happy with my main weapon and skills for PVE but welcome any suggestions. I ideally want sword and board, dual wield or two handed with warden abilities because staves just aren’t for me. I’ve tried a few and just don’t like them. I don’t like staying back. I like to just charge straight in and do as much damage as I can while making sure I’m as protected as I can manage, so I don’t think bows would be much good for me either but I’m willing to give them a go. I’ve been spending an even amount of points in health, stamina and magic. I’ve got a respec scroll so I can change latter once I’ve worked everything out. Thanks!
Edit for spelling.
i have 1 build i got off youtube but i feel like there might be better build out there so just asking for peoples opinions
Class and build?
What is the best ability weapons armor etc
Hi I'm New to ESO and have never seen someone do a poison tank build I honestly don't know where to start if you could help me id like that my Xbox name is skystarfall7161
Hi there! I’m still relatively new to ESO (and gaming in general if you don’t count OG Nintendo as a child) so a lot of this can be kind of overwhelming. I’m taking advice and learning everything I can though so any help would be much appreciated.
I am playing a stamina Templar level 500something and need help with my build. As of now the sets I’ve picked up are Deadly weapons & jewelry (nirnhoned weapon, still researching bloodthirsty for jewelry). I do have a 5 piece set of Briarheart weapons and jewelry I haven’t transmuted yet, but can upgrade. I run a 2H on my front bar and a bow on my back bar and my goal is to get a maelstrom bow at some point.
For armor I have a 5 piece purple divine Orders Wrath, a 5 piece purple divine Pillar of Nirn, and a 5 piece purple (not yet divine) Aegis.
I also have the Kra’gh monster set in medium, as I accidentally ended up in vet fungal grotto but I’m not confident enough to try other vet dungeons yet. I believe I have a Sellistrix (sp?) shoulder that I was told would be good for me to run with once I get the head piece.
So my 1st question is.. from what I currently have what set would you run? 2nd question is what monster set, or mix of sets, would you go for?
I’m currently only hitting 48k on a 21mil dummy and I know my rotation is a big part of that so I’m working on it, but I’d like to get higher. I also have oakensoul as an option but I really want to be solid with 2 bars.
I really only do PVE, mostly solo aside from group dungeons. I’d love to be able to solo world bosses.
Thank you for your help and time!
I know I’m kind of late to this party but what is the highest damage setup for a heavy sorc? I know they aren’t meta but for the sake of pure damage.
I’m thinking you can probably get high numbers with banner.
I’m aware of combinations of sergeants mail/deadly/stormfist but which combo hits the best?
What skills should be ran? Maybe like: Fire Rune, daedric Prey, matriarch, scamp, banner, and atro?
What CP?
