Hello, i started playing ESO a lot, i have one char. Mag dps DK, and crafting alt, i thought of starting new character, to just level the horse and do writs, and later play it normally like a main, o thought about doing mag sorc, but i read that he uses daggers, and i use them with DK, and i want bow or staff, so i thought about warden, but i dont know anything about him, then tank necro came in mind, and that sounds perfect, but i read that tank necro has really small dps, and also, can i solo with necro? because i play mainly solo, sometimes in group.
Currently running:
3 heavy 4 medium
Edit: I’m getting clapped
Recently just got my plar geared and looking for range plar builds ideally want a cyrodil build and a duelling build.
Any recommendations for either setups? Im a breton and have access to all dlc
Hello everyone! I have been putting together a heavy attack build for my wife. ( she struggles with bar swapping )
And the gear sets I keep seeing online are 5x Sargent’s. 1x Oakensoul. 1x Slimecraw or pen set. And either Storm Master or Noble Duelist or Deadly Strike.
The problem I have is that I cannot find a clear answer on whether or not Deadly Strike effects heavy attacks with a lightning staff.. some sources say that it only effects the two dot ticks before the final tick and others have told me that deadly strike effects the entire heavy attack because it’s a “channel”
Can someone please help clarify this for me? Or post screenshots with and without deadly strike equipped? Thanks for all the help Reddit!
Curious about the change to glacial presence. I run fire & poison on my dual wield werewolf PvP build now but this could make frost interesting.
Hey! I know that this is a bad choice for pvp build but I really like to play with S&B and want to have impact in pvp.
About skills I use Reapers mark, Siphonic strikes, Merciless Resolve, Shielded Assault and Power Slam.
With skills I think it’s fine but what about sets? Right now I’m using Medusa set 5 pieces and Knight Errants 5 pieces and Lover stone but outcome is really very low. It’s not necessarily to be heavy sets, I need some recommendations about sets, it can be med/heavy. I would be so grateful
Finally got my sorc to 50
I threw together a heavy attack build just with what I already had
Sergeants mail 5 pieces including lightning staff
Oakensoul
Then I’m still working on getting the correct slots of pieces of storm master to correct the HA build. Just filled in the rest with pillar of nirn for now
My question is more directed at BiS sets for sorc that are non heavy attack
For pve (vet content and trials dps)
And ESPECIALLY PVP
What set combos are BiS for pvp and separately for trial dps
Looking for whatever’s meta and good lol
Thanks all
Edit: oh and they don’t have to be one bar. I’m just going one bar oakensoul for HA. But down to one bar in pvp or trials as well if it’s good. But two bars is cool for anything
Hi Guys my build include have 5 pieces of Relequen, 5 pieces of Order's Wrath, and 2 pieces of Slimecraw. Should I stick with Order's Wrath, or is there a better option? I don’t have access to Pillar of Nirn yet and I mostly play solo.
Mundus Stone - Lover
Currently running Deadly + Prior Therric - I’d like my other 5th set to be something more pointed towards single target DPS - I’ve been told Coral, Nirn, even Kvatch. Any suggestions?
I may eventually swap out for a mythic necklace + monster one piece but right now this is what I’m aiming for
I made a Orc Cro themed after Azog The Defiler im not much of a bomber can't do it properly so I'm looking more for something with high burst damage maybe a DW fb. I dont have Gold Road yet an mossing the newer Mythics
Im returning from a 3 years (aprox) hiatus. And i’m looking at builds on interwebs… and don’t understand this kind of builds… please explain them to me as if I am 12.
So I’ve been curious , I recently got back into the game and have been playing mainly cyrodill and Imperial sewers. I just finished the build I’m going with which is 5pc Dedric trickery 5pcs pyrebrand 2pc bloodspawn
I don’t have the dlc for mythics but what thinking about getting eso plus for a few months to grind this out. Questions I have about mythics are am I really loosing out ? Would it make a big difference getting mythics? I also see on a build from skinny cheeks that he recommended 1 pcs monster helm 1 piece training 2x 5 pcs sets So does this make a difference? I’m a pretty casual player and ever since they made crowns harder to buy I haven’t really expanded on the game. Any advice is appreciated!
Any ideas for a good Stamina Warden build? With a parse of 80-100k?
I'm champion lv 1000 but I mostly did casual grinding by other means than pve and pvp. So for pvp and pve which one is better overall for DPS magic or stam? And what would be in said build? Armor etc
I’ve got a really good idea of what I want to do for my other builds for the most part, using advice from here and other places. For negate I’ve been told Arkasis, Hide of The Werewolf, Bloodspawn and Colovian Highlands General are good choices for the Ultigen. Can anybody put something together for me or show me a good one, tell me what you use? Like exact slots for gear, traits, enchants, etc. Best Skills. The Works. I’m having a blast in Cyrodiil and just wanna continue. High Elf if that changes anything. I also don’t have scribing just yet, but I plan to at some point get that.
My other builds that I’m working towards:
1 Bar HA - 64 Magicka - PvE (will change to 2bar eventually)
Sergeants Mail (SM) 5pc / Tharriker’s Strike (TS) 5pc / Slimecraw 1pc / Oakensoul
I was going to go Deadly Strike for the 1bar build but I also want to use some Transmutation stones for a PvP build so I’m going for the crafted set.
MagSorc Max Magicka - 64 Magicka - PvP
Crafty Alfiq (CA) 5pc / Mighty Chudan (MC) 2pc / Death Dealers Fete (DDF) / Trainee 1pc / Ancient Grace (AG) 3pc
Will Probably go Wretched Vitality / Crafty Alfiq to start with though.
Will also take advice or recommendations for the other builds I’m working towards.
Recently got back into the game and would like to get into battlegrounds with my magDK who is mostly used for pve content. Previously before i took a hiatus a few years back i was using stamwarden pvp
Whats good gear to run on magdk right now?
I didnt want to buy the dlc but its kinda mandatory i assume. I am using swallowblade high elf nb(soulcleaver-rally-balorg-markyn) its good i recommend.
I want to ask which skills can be replaced for my build
Also i do pvp at bergama , they have tanky nb build but doing much damage aswell, can any nb pro or bergame enjoyer tell me youe secrets
I want this to be for dueling and I want to play Magden
does anybody know any sets that would be good for this? I know alot of people say no to this but I like the idea of Zoal even though its not that good 🤣 whenever I am CC and break free it punishes them
(I also want this because I know my brother hates it more than ANYTHING else in the game so it would be funny to me)
Looking to output more damage on my heavy attack sorc currently using sergeant and deadly but only outputting around 60k dps on a dummy and 25-30k in real world
Making a pet build and have buffs and such on my back bar with a Ritualist Lightning Staff because I thought the effect would spread to multiple enemies.
If it only affects 1 target at a time, should I opt for a Flame staff, so I can heavy attack and apply a DOT?
Edit: These are my findings on PS5 as of Oct. 25, 2024...
Ritualist Lightning Staff Heavy AOE damage does NOT apply Ritualist's Mark to any enemy hurt by the damage except the single enemy initially targeted by the heavy attack. However, it seems that possibly any other damage Actively caused by the player does apply the Mark.
Active is the key word. Normal attacks by your pets, even gear pets like Maw, do not apply the Mark, but activating Volatile Familiar AOE skill does apply the Mark. Boundless Storm is another AOE ability that will apply the Mark as long as you have the 5 Piece bonus active.
If you swap to another weapon and lose Ritualist 5 Piece bonus before the attack, Light or Heavy depending on what staff you're using, connects with the enemy, the Mark will not be applied. On the flip side, if you activate a skill like Daedric Prey that has an AOE on a bar without Ritualist, you can swap to Ritualist, and as long as the AOE is still in effect or has not been proc'd yet, the Mark will apply to any enemy hurt by the AOE because you now have the 5 Piece bonus.
One thing to note is that there may be a visual glitch with this set as the enemies with the Ritualist's Mark do not consistently display the glowing Mark above their head. However, if you have Enemy Debuff setting set to on, you will be able to see that they do in fact have the Mark applied to them with what looks like a hand symbol of some kind. Very annoying and it doesn't appear to be intentional. So, now I have to play with Debuffs on. Not the worst thing, but pretty unacceptable that you have to use it because the visual function is bugged.
So with that said, I guess I'll use a Flame Staff.
Anyone ever use this? I'm aware Molten Whip is better but i love spamming Flame Lash and become ballerina.
Always see people talking about 35 second runs in the chat and always wonder what build/class they're running to be able to do that
Hello im new to the game, im lvl 50 dk and i want to know what are good and easy sets to get for pvp (mostly battlegrounds and later cyrodil).
Im not asking about the most OP stuff because its a long way to get to that point, im asking about sets that i could get through questing and didferent zones (gold road edition ps5).
Im looking for heavy and medium sets and also im not really sure what skills to pick from champion skill tree.
Thanks
What's best way to build a necromancer for pve content
I’m currently playing Templar and I wanna get all the skills from Dawn’s Wrath tree. My boyfriend tells me that its useless and I should combine skills from different sections. Is it that useless to only get the Dawn’s Wrath skills?
I’m trying to decide if I want to level up an alt
I already have a maxed out DK and a PvP specced NB that both seem to do pretty well
For pve I generally prefer to main tank and I have an armory slot already ideal for that on my DK
so my question is, is there any class that will just consistently outperform my DK and/or NB in PVP ONLY?
from what I know. DK and NB are far and away the best PvP classes. With maybe sorc also being up there
But I don’t think sorc (or any other classes) are so way above the two I play in PvP that it’s worth leveling up just for PvP
If I’m playing DK and NB in PvP
And I’m already happy with my DK tank setup
Is it worth it to roll any other classes?
And just wanted to throw in, the class I’m most considering rolling is an Arcanist. Mostly so I can sometimes choose to do DPS in trials since I don’t really have a trial Dps setup right now.
If I do create an arcanist for pve, how do they fare in PvP where would you rank an arcanist?
Hi everyone,
I keep having this idea of an paladin type of build, however, i see no way that it would be viable/meta in a way that groups might allow me.
Basically, i wanted to build a heavy/light armor hybrid that heals as well as do damage.
So to let you see my idea, this was it (note i've never reached the endgame so i have no idea for sets and stuff like that.)
So far i want a resto/sword and board build, able to dash into combat with shield-charge and bash, while keeping the group healed up and providing damage augmenting buffs, basically i want to be someone who brings a lot of value to a group.
However, i have no idea how to make this concept work. I wanted to build a templar, with a heavy helmet, heavy armor, and the remaining pieces as light gear, or maybe the boots and arms as medium, to not run out of resources.
But here is my problem, i want to be able to use this build to clear the openworld as well, i enjoy questing, and worldbossing and delves.
How would i fix this with racial passives? A hybrid build with stamina/magica, able to help out in most parts of the game.
(As a final note, with my damage bar, i wanted to use sword and board, dots and the spear you can throw, and as my resto-bar i want to focus in hots one big heal, and buffs
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but i hate jabs as a playstyle so i really want to avoid the jab skill wherever possible)
Muthseras,
I'm a returning player who has a sorcerer main. It was a magicka main before but since coming back I'd like to change it up with by changing to a stamina based sorc.
I'm using this stamsorc build from Deltia's gaming to get back into the game: https://deltiasgaming.com/builds/eso-solo-sorcerer-stamina-build-for-pve/
As I'm more solo play plus dungeon's I went with Aegis caller's set & pillar of Nirn as my two sets plus a 1 piece monster, velothi-ur's amulet and a perfect lightning maelstrom weapon on the back bar.
PoN & AC are 5 piece on both bars but I just can't seem to trigger Nirn's armour set bonus? The aegis appears all the time but I don't see any lava.
A couple of questions:
Thanks in advance and may you walk on warm sands.
What would you say in the current patch are the top 3 classes and builds for
Pve tanking
Pve Dps
Overall pvp
Thanks :) trying to decide my third character to make !
