Just watched S5 episode 8, I hate how chibball writes the doctor (and also, everyone else). Does this get better? I know chibnall has a bad reputation, but I also know 11 and 12 have good reputations.
Edit: so in conclusion, I watched the first episode he ever wrote, noticed that it sucked, and got scared and assumed he had already taken over the show 6 series early

Does anyone else think we need a French Doctor?
We've had a lot of Doctors from all over England and Scotland, we've recently had a woman in the role and a black man, but we've never had a French Doctor. I think the time is right following Ncuti Gatwa's performance for the character to regenerate into a new incarnation that speaks exclusively in French. I can already imagine their new iconic lines and phrases like "Sacre bleu" or "Oui oui".
It's time for the show to put it's money where it's mouth is regarding inclusivity and diversity and cast a french actor.
