A place to share memes and discuss the only episode of Doctor Who, “Heaven Sent”
/r/TheShadowProclamation
I have been craving for the unhinged, obscure, and the most oddly specific Doctor Who memes and since the Reddit blackout there has been no sign of return from r/doctorwhocirclejerk . I personally have spent lots of time creating for that subreddit and I am sad to see all the work I and many others have done completely gone. I am hoping to create a new space for all of those high quality shitposts to live and I hope others will join me in making them (well at least repost) here on r/TheShadowProclamation
In the vast universe of Doctor Who, there's one character who often goes unnoticed but deserves far more recognition - Cathica Santini Khadeni.
As a journalist stationed on Satellite Five during the Fourth Great and Bountiful Human Empire, Cathica's journey was filled with determination, ambition, and bravery. Despite her initial desire for recognition in the Spike Room, it was her journalistic instincts that led her to uncover the horrifying truth about the Jagrafess' control over Earth.
Her actions not only saved lives but also broke the grip of corruption on Satellite Five. Cathica's unwavering commitment to honesty and investigative reporting became a defining moment for the Doctor Who universe.
Yet, she remains an unsung hero, overshadowed by other prominent characters. Cathica's influence, however, extends beyond her brief appearance. Her impact on the Doctor's adventures and the future of the series cannot be underestimated.
Let's give credit where credit is due. Cathica Santini Khadeni is a hidden gem, and her significance in the Doctor Who lore should never be overlooked. Share your thoughts on this underrated character and how she left a lasting impression on you! #UnderratedCharacter #CathicaDeservesMoreLove #DoctorWho
The Season 9 episode “Heaven Sent” was a major disappointment. The episode felt overly convoluted and dragged on with its repetitive plot. The Doctor's endless loop of confronting the Veil became monotonous and lacked any real development. In comparison, Orphan 55 showcased a more engaging and thought-provoking storyline, addressing pertinent environmental issues. The characters were more relatable, and the episode left a lasting impact, unlike Heaven Sent, which failed to leave a lasting impression.
