Detroit City FC is the pride and passion of the Detroit soccer community. Despite playing in the 4th tier and only existing since 2012, the team has developed a legion of fanatical supporters who hang on every goal. The raucous atmosphere and tight-knit community make the DCFC experience a must-participate.

With Saturday’s double header, I was just curious what the cadence is for The March(es). Is it just one before the women’s game or will there be another March before the men’s game?
Ali Coote is off to Shelbourne FC… kinda sad as I liked him in the midfield. Peace out Ali! There goes my dream of an Ali Coote/baby shark chant.
Edit: typos
Are there safe places to lock a bicycle for matches? Thanks in advance.
Usually takes about 40 minutes to get to the stadium from Ann Arbor. With M-14 and 96 closed, it was an hour and a half (thanks for not giving me a heads up, Waze!). Lost my usual seats, missed out on the duffle bag promotion, and the food court was packed before I even set foot in the stadium.
Sure hoping this isn't foreshadowing for the upcoming game...
Bringing my 3 kids to the game tomorrow and was curious if my 2 year old needs a ticket. I can’t find any information on this on the website.
My friends and I are coming to enjoy a Detroit City FC game for the first time on Saturday. We want to join the march. I've seen conflicting information that it starts at the fowling warehouse but also at the New Dodge Lounge. Which one is it? Or is it both? Any other first game tips? Thanks in advance!
First two touches and has nice chances… love to see you back!!!
Maci has really stepped up this season with on the field leadership. 4th goal just now against Rhode Island. Wish he and Yazeed could get on the same page more regularly.
This"fanbase" is really showing its whole ass yet again. Saturday game, early start time, men are out of town. Y'all really can't be bothered to support the women. #DCTID.... Unless it's the women's team apparently.
I'd like to take my family to our first game (kids are 4 and 6) and looking for tips on where to sit (and where to avoid). My 6 yo is a bit sensitive, so we probably want to avoid the drums as well as the smoke if possible. We have ear muffs if needed, and they have been to Comerica and LCA and did fine. Swearing is not an issue as they hear a plenty at home 😂
Why should a ticket that isn’t in high demand cost $10 more today than it did yesterday?
Our own Dean Simmer talks about the Prideraiser initiative, which helps support local LGBTQ+ initiatives.

The majority owners announced the new stadium, but i heard during the owners' meeting that they don't have all of their funding ready to build the stadium. Why did they announce that they bought property if we cannot afford it? Is there another silent investor who is going to fund our next big thing? Because I don't see why we build a stadium that will cost at least $75 million dollars only for some rich angel investor to not try and promote us to MLS.
The format has been great to watch. Is there a contractual obligation that prevents DCFC from fielding a team? Men's and Women's side? An extra million could come in handy with the new stadium and all. Thoughts for the future?
Anywhere to see the results or highlights of the game tonight?
Those who know me know my Greek team is AEK. I KNOW we have Livorno fans in our ranks. We were FC St. Pauli’s first match in the US. Our men’s MVP award is named after a Detroiter who played for Celtic…and of course we pretty universally hate Nazis.
that is all
We won 6 straight, then have gone 0-3-3 in our last 6. What’s gone wrong?
Was losing Elvis that big of a blow? What’s been causing the issues in the defense?
I don’t get to a shopping center very often, so maybe this isn’t new, but seeing DCFC kit at the front of the store felt pretty great!
Any word on when Elvis will be back in the building? I feel like we lost a lot when he went down.
To quote Sean Mann from today's free press article "-we're conservative with the renderings and talking about financials. Hopefully, we've built that trust with our fans so they know that we're going in and execute on a vision I think they've all bought into."
What are some features you'd like to see included in the stadium itself and the property?
How is the club paying for this new stadium? I am excited for it, but I would think that this is something we would need an additional owner for, unless the newest owner with a long last name has the money.
I know some fans do not like cities giving property tax breaks or straight-up giving partial funding for development projects, but I don't see how this stadium gets built without some brownfield funding and property tax breaks. We already know that it will be at least $75 million because of the city of Detroit's community benefits ordinance process.
What does everyone else in this group think? Hopefully Sean Mann will share more details soon.
