Hi, I've just finished this game and I'm a bit worried that my ending wasn't a good one. I played the game without going back to the menu once, I accepted the consequences of my decisions, which honestly made me more anxious, nervous and stressed at the most critical moments of the game.
Here's a summary of what I've achieved:
!Basically, my play with Kara and Alice was structured around the idea of protecting Alice at all costs. The fact that she was an android didn't change my attitude towards her at all. I really identified with both of them.!<
!Luther dies in Jericho.!<
!Simon dies sacrificing himself for Markus.!<
!Connor becomes a deviant.!<
!Don't blame me here, but I chose the “Convert” option in Cyberlife Tower. I agree that it was a stupid decision. This means that the new Connor, Hank and Connor die here, but the androids have woken up. !<
!Markus leads a peaceful protest and succeeds. !<
!North and Josh survive, with both having a good relationship with Markus.!<
!Jerry survives (I chose not to sacrifice anyone in the airport scene, as I felt it would all go wrong anyway. To my surprise, the airport employee looks at the TV and sees Markus protesting peacefully).!<
!Alice and Kara survive, and make it to Canada safely. Their relationship status is “Family”. !<
Thanks to anyone who replies. Absolutely loved this game and am enjoying reading some of the posts on this sub too!
I was thinking about this a lot but I haven't seen anyone talk about it but when you are first introduced to Markus there is an android helping an old man on the bench but it stutters a little saying "L- let me help you." Was there any meaning or foreshadowing to this or am I just overthinking? I'm not sure any other androids stutter like that until later when we know about>!deviants.!<
Hi all. I downloaded this game last night and as soon as i installed it, i encountered the infamous error saying No suitable GPU for vulkan 1.1 was found and the game will close. My drivers are all up to date as i do that regularly. Then i saw in youtube and other places that i should try disabling one of the GPUs in the device manager, so i did that and the game ran on my integrated gpu (my specs are R7 4800hs, gtx 1650, 16gb ram), it ran 15-20fps on medium i think until the start of chapter two where it crashed and crashes every time with this method. then i disabled the integrated gpu and tried playing with the 1650. The shaders recompiled and the game started to a laggy mess like it goes at literally less than 5 fps and cpu is at 10% avg. gpu is at 100% utilization like every other game no matter the game settings. I'm veeeery close to giving up on this game but i loved the chapter one and i don't want to delete it. :(
Now i've tried installing vulkan sdk, deleting gpu driver with ddu and reinstalling from scratch, deleting game cache, turning off game bar and windows game mode, restarting and ...
My laptop is a 2020 G14 with R7 4800hs and gtx 1650 which should run the game pretty well, but honestly i played GoWRagnarok and star wars jedi survivor on this laptop way easier and better than the experience this goddamn game's been giving me.
SOS question please answer quickly!!!!
Hi,
I'm on my first play through and so far this is one of the best story games I've ever played but, I was really bothered by the Kamski Test. In particular >!how Kamski!< points out that because >!I spare the Android, I must be deviant. All the while Hank orders me not to shoot. Conner is bound to follow Hank's orders and not Kamski's order (even though he is 'The Creator' and in essense a God figure) so sparing her makes sense as he shouts "don't!" right after Kamski says to shoot her.!<
It just rubs me the wrong way I guess
(I'm like litterarly playing that scene right now)
Currently on my first playthrough of DBH, and am kinda curious about something.
I’m still in the playthrough so try to avoid any spoilers that proceed after this mission if possible.
During the mission where you investigate the murder at the Eden club, after following the clues you are attacked by 2 deviants. The fight leads to outside where you’re able to get ahold of Hanks gun and have the choice to spare or shoot one of the deviants. I decided to shoot her and the relationship with Hank went down, and was deemed because I was “hostile” (correct me if I’m wrong, not sure whether that means Hank is hostile with me, or if he saw my actions as hostile)
I can understand that in the beginning it is explained all androids are “forbidden” from using or possessing a weapon. But in regard to the mission and scene, the deviants attacked us, why wouldn’t Hank see this as me protecting us? As after I had pulled the deviants down from the fence, they continued to attack us.
A few missions earlier when chasing the deviant through the rooftops, Hank is pushed off the side of a building, I seen that his probability of survival was at 89% so I assumed he would just pull himself back up. So I chased the deviant so it wouldn’t get away. Hank was angry I didn’t try to help him. So I assumed in this situation, he would appreciate if I took the action to protect the both of us, as the deviants attacked us, especially with weapons.
Why would he be mad or feel a certain way about this? In a logical sense? Considering we were attacked and blindsided by the deviant androids? It just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me that Hank would get mad for trying to protect us, after just getting mad at me for not trying to help him.
Do any of you know of Detroit: Become Human exhibition in Grevin museum, Paris is still available?
For those who don’t know, DBH: Tokyo Stories is an official manga spin-off set in Tokyo during the events of DBH which centers on how Japan perceives the android issue.
I played through this game a few years back on a system with an RX580 8GB, 16 gigs of Ram and a 2200g and the game ran without issue at a constant framerate on low graphics (but high texture). Now I have a 5700xt, 32 gigs of Ram, and the same 2200g. I’ve redownloaded, took about an hour for the shaders to load (first time startup thing). The menu ran perfectly smooth on ultra graphics with no stutter or FPS drops but as soon as I load into the intro level the game does… this.
I’m running the game on low graphics 70% render and it’s still stuttering like this, the few times the game wasn’t stuttering I had a perfect 60fps. My drivers are up to date and every other game that I play runs as intended. What is wrong with my game?
I need a little help with my game.
I love playing Detroit Become Human and want to play agian and I could before I got my new graphic card.
I used to have a gtx 1060, but now I have a Radeon rx 7000 gre.
When I try to start the game up, I get a crash/warning the game can't start because I don't have Vulkan 1.1.
I hope somebody can help me with this
Its been 6 years since DBH released, and there hasn't been a single game announcement after that
Dustborn and Under The Wave don't count because they're not made by QD, just published
Now this might seem hard but does anyone know how to do it. My old pc had gt 730 and it ran on it although on very low resolution but still. And intel UHD 630 is slightly better than gt 730, game would be playable only if it launches. If anyone knows how to do it pls help.
First time playing and I just killed Connor 😭 will I ever be able to play him again and how much did I just change the story?
Just got to the part after >!hank loses his job and Connor goes to find him at his house sitting there with a picture of his son, bottle of whiskey, and a revolver. The conversation was short and I knew what was going to happen before I even left but that noise absolutely terrified me. Now im sad about what can possibly happen next. Is there any reality in which he doesnt shoot himself?!<
what is the song that plays when North and Markus are talking on the rooftop and when you first meet Lucy and pull your shirt up??? 😪
Beyond looks good and i LOVE Elliot Page! Does the other games from the developers worth the money?
Did machine Connor kidnap him thinking he was deviant Connor?
I’m not sure whether if was a mod I saw on Tiktok or something, but i SWEAR i’ve seen a short clip of Kara and Alice inside the police station in one of the cells, like the one that Carlos Ortiz’s android ends up in in the chapter “Waiting for Hank”.
Is there any way to actually achieve this in the game or am I genuinely just imagining things? I really want this ending, it seems so intriguing.
After you finish the game for the first time, Chloe asks if you'll let her go. What did you tell her and why?
I let her go, I didn't feel right playing a game about androids being free and then not letting her have her freedom. But... I got the option to get a new Chloe, and I missed her on my menu screen so I said yes. 😅
