Decentraland 2.0, now in beta, offers desktop users enhanced graphics, improved performance, and new social features like voice chat and quests to deepen engagement. Elements like badges, daily tasks, and mini-games as well. A key focus of the update is decentralization, allowing creators to retain 97.5% of their earnings.

Today marks a pivotal moment in the history of Decentraland.

This client is a huge step towards the future that we all know is possible for Decentraland, a vibrant social world full of creative content built by all of the amazing community creators! 🙌🏻

The new client offers improved performance, immersive environments, new engagement mechanics (hello Badges and Quests!), and is available on both Windows and Mac.

Be sure to download the new client on the Decentraland's site today to get ready for all of the launch events, listed on the events page. There are 4 key events with lots of fun goodies leading up to the Music Festival, so be sure to SAVE. THE. DATES. 🎁
