We are a group of Masters and PhD students from UCD and UCC who are conducting research to assess how concerns about sustainability and climate change impact the food choices of consumers. I would greatly appreciate your time and effort by participating in the survey, which takes 10 minutes to complete and can be found here:
https://ucc.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3aTWhqj3kkZsWdU?s=m
There is also a second part to the study that gives participants the option to sign up for a 40 min lab session at the end of the online study (free food involved!) and can take place in either UCD or UCC!
Thank you all for your time and consideration!
Hi everyone,
Hope this is a good space to ask this question, I'm media managing a commercial shoot and today I noticed a considerable discrepancy in my backups.
My Master drive has used 1.57 TBs and my Backup has used 1.61TBs. I usually notice a slight difference in sizes but it's never causes me a problem though I'd like to find out why it happens.
For consideration I offload using Shotput Pro and I use an XX Hash-64 Checksum into designated folders [Day_xx --> ACAM -->A0xx] Once it's validated I run the card through Parashoot and then I format the card.
I'll mention this as well in case it's important our director has been taking home the Backup drive and transcoding and creating proxies, is there a chance that could be the cause for the discrepancy?
Would appreciate any and all help, I'm on this shoot until tomorrow and then the drives will be shipped off. Want to make sure I can send them off with confidence.
Started tu 706 this year really enjoying it but I’ve heard some people say it doesn’t get you a good job when you graduate. Anyone know if I could move to tu802 the level 8 at the end of the year?
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone here is doing the Physics with Medical Physics and Bioengineering course at Tu Dublin Grangegorman.
I'd love to hear about the course content etc.
Thanks!
anyone currently in TUD (DIT) or hopefully going to be in september looking for friends? my first choice course is aungier st. but my accommodation is in grangegorman. extremely nervous as i hattteeed secondary school
https://www.tudublin.ie/study/undergraduate/courses/product-design-tu811/
Looking for level 8 courses rn and TUD's Product Design one caught my eye, I like how it combines business, creative work and engineering,, I was wondering if any students who've taken this course/ are taking this course could share their experiences? Like the workload, the type of work done regularly, grading, employability after etc. Stuff like that idk
I can't seem to find a lot of discussion on it compared to their computer science courses and I don't know anyone studying it.
Update: In hindsight it was never that serious fr Ended up w compsci tho! Product Design in TUD seems fairly neat, I've walked past their open plan classroom. I'd imagine having no walls or ceiling means every first year stares at you while you're in class

Hey all,
I am looking for a bit of help, I am trying to build a product to help people prepare for job interviews and I am hoping to get some feedback. The survey here should only take 90 seconds and would help me hugely…Thanks so much!!!

What are your thoughts on having a desi society? Will there be any uptake from students?
Desi = anyone of Indian/Bangladeshi/Pakistani/Nepali/Sri Lankan/Bhutanese ethnicity.
People who are interested in the above cultures are welcome too.
I'm looking for some cool english courses i'm torn between
ENGL 2100 Medieval Romance with Thomas Hill

Hi 👋 everyone! I hope it is ok to post this here, if not, feel free to delete.
I'm currently completing a Master's Degree in Marketing at TUDublin (formerly DIT) and as part of that I am performing research into the use of influencers for tourism marketing.
Part of my research involves a survey investigating people's perceptions of Travel Bloggers, and I was hoping that some of you may be willing to answer it.
The survey involves you reading a blog about a destination in Ireland and then answering a few questions about your perceptions of the blogger and your future travel intentions. The survey itself is really short, but with reading the blog the whole thing should take approximately 10-15 minutes, so feel free to make yourself a nice cuppa!
All responses are anonymous, and anyone over 18 living in Ireland can fill it out, so if you know of anyone who may be interested or willing to answer it, feel free to pass it on. Every little helps!
Thanks in advance, and who knows, maybe you'll get some travel inspiration 😋
I'm going to be doing either communications/journalism. I was wondering which college is better in terms of getting a job.
Hi everyone,
Please come join and check out... r/PubsofIreland - a new subreddit where I chart every pub in Ireland!
I'll be posting about 10 to 15 pubs a day. There's approximately 7,500 pubs in total in Ireland so it's going to take about a year. Do check out the sub and follow the journey if you're interested for photos of all our amazing... and not so amazing pubs. I'm sure some will be familiar to you.
Hope to see you there!

Hi, I'm an international student from Spain and I'll be taking maths (DT205) starting next week (16th of September). I was wandering if anyone knows how to find the classrooms and/or wants to meet a Spaniard with no friends in Dublin
How do you log in? I tried logging in but I dont know what password to use. I tried resetting password and it said it didn't recognise my account. I followed the format studentnumber@mytudublin.ie
I got no response from the support desk, and if I did it likely went to my new box that I cannot access.
Frustration aside, why bother moving from Gmail anyway?
Anyone doing DT203(Analytical Chemistry)? Could u provide insight on it please and thanks
Currently, we are seeking third-level students across Ireland to partake in our national student survey on student attitudes and behaviours towards recruitment apps. Grateful for any help. Survey Link Below!
