RULES

  1. All card renders including art must have correct and unambiguous artist credit at the bottom of the card in the correct position. This rule encompasses all art, including photography and media screenshots. You can source media screenshots by crediting the source game, anime, movie, etc. The only exception made to this rule is if the poster messages the mods in advance (with a link to the original art) and the mods approve the lack of artist credit.

  2. All art credit must credit the CREATOR of the art. Image aggregators such as wallpaper sites, tumblr, and pinterest do not qualify. If AI is used, you must credit the engine used. A piece of art being, for instance, a photograph, screenshot, public domain, royalty free, etc. does not exempt it from this rule. The only exception made to this rule is if the poster messages the mods in advance (with a link to the original art) and the mods approve the alternative credit.

  3. Any random art pieces (not included in card renders) must have accompanying artist credit. The only exception to this rule is if the poster messages the mods in advance and the mods approve the lack of artist credit.

  4. All posts containing NSFW art must be marked as such. Posts with unreasonably lewd or gory art may be removed.

  5. All users must follow Reddiquette and be civil with each other. Harassment and abuse are strictly not tolerated. Unconstructive, negative, or insulting brigading is harassment.

  6. You may not post custom cards that you did not create, unless you credit the original creator in the post title. You may not post cards whose text is fully or primarily AI-generated. Additionally, posts that are primarily comprised of existing real cards or cards substantially similar to existing real cards will be removed. This includes alters and skinned cards.

  7. Please don't clog /new/ with multiple consecutive posts. If you have multiple cards to share, put them in a single album post. This helps make sure everyone gets a fair crack at being seen.
More specifically, users should only have one post on the front page of /new/ (i.e. within the most recent 25 submissions), or one post every twelve hours, whichever permits more posts. If a mod views /new/, they should only see your name once.

  8. Do not repost cards. Reposts will be permitted at the mods' discretion. A repost may be permitted if it is a) substantially revised, b) revised with community input or c) reposted in an album with new, unposted cards. Under a), leave a comment describing the exact revisions, or link to the prior card image. Under b), leave a comment with a link to the prior card discussion. Under c), there must be sufficient new content in the album.

  9. Do not misrepresent submissions as cards from a real set. Do not include set codes for existing sets within post titles. (E.g. "[SNC] <Card name>") You may include custom set codes which do not collide with existing set codes. You may use set icons for any released set (i.e. not during spoiler season).

"It's been a few minutes, my post isn't showing up!"

You haven't done anything wrong — we have a semi-aggressive AutoModerator. Reach out to us here and we'll get your post approved as soon as we can. Don't delete your post or we won't be able to approve it to be seen :)

"What if I don't know the artist?"

Google has a very good reverse-image-search tool. Just upload the art that you used, and it will likely find the source!

"What if I still can't find it?"

Message the mods. Normally we can find it, we've gotten pretty good at it, and if we can't find it, we'll give you permission to use it without credit.

Possess {-} Whenever {cardname} deals combat damage to a player, take control of that player. After that turn, that player takes an extra turn. What do you think?
