1. Don't be a Jerk
Racism, Homophobia or Bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated. Violators can expect permanent bans.
We do not shame based on player skill, loadout or gameplay preference. Violators can expect instant warnings, timed bans and permanent bans for repeat offenders.
2. No BungiePLZ Suggestions / Complaining Posts
This sub is dedicated to the PvP experience as it is. Speculation threads about the future of Crucible are okay with cited sources concerning weapon, class and ability tuning and sunsetting.
3. No matchmaking complaint posts.
4. No Random Roll/Sharditkeepit Posts
Posts asking if their random roll is good or not don't belong on the subreddit, but are welcome in the Discord https://discord.gg/mHNzaUkWfd
This rule will occasionally have an exception in the specific case of guns that are new to the game or can be crafted. We will try to keep these exceptions to one-per-gun. You're better off going to the discord for these though or searching the sub. There's also r/sharditkeepit, but that sub tends to be more focused on pve.
5. No Memes
r/Destiny2 or r/okbuddyguardian are more appropriate subreddits for your shitposting needs, or the discord.
6. No Achievement Posts
It's okay to share how you achieved something, but make sure your post has more informative substance than boasting.
7. No Non-Education Clips
Clips that are posted must have something to learn from them and if it isn't explained in the clip, with text, audio, or just being self explanatory, then it will require a comment on the post explaining what there is to learn from it.
8. Make High Quality Contributions
Start a conversation.
Even if you are just asking a question, you should be prepared to write at least two paragraphs. Give us something worth talking about!
In-depth, high-content guides about specific guns, perks, and techniques are ok.
Detailed, specific questions are fine as well.
But "is X gun good?" Go play with it and decide for yourself.
9. No Looking For Group Posts
Please use the discord for all of your CrucibleGuidebook LFG needs: https://discord.gg/mHNzaUkWfd
If you want to reach out to a specific user in the comments of a post, that's perfectly fine. But posts themselves should not be LFG in nature.
10. Please Flair Your Posts
Flairs help you enjoy curated content that suits your specific preferences.
If you're asking for help it's best that people know what platform you're on to give you the most accurate feedback. Consider flairing your Username as well.
11. Gameplay Review Requirements
We encourage gameplay + VOD reviews, but please follow these guidelines to get good feedback:
Choose a good video - A complete match, unedited, against similarly skilled opponents, where you played well.
Write a good description - You already have some idea what you did well, what you did poorly, and where you'd like to improve. At least one paragraph

I have an idea about what's doing each one but using something like Eye of the Storm feels like running aimbot and not running is so much disadvantage in compare.
For instance, while dueling with a hand cannon, it is hard to mantain aim dot on target cause different factors (strafing, flinch, peek shooting, camera angles...). It is like it doesnt matter having 90/100 AA sometimes by gun default, but when running EotS, feels like the dot doesnt move from head's enemy, the track always on point following movements, very hard to miss.
Another example could be applied to pellet shotguns. Although closing times feels no brain choice, I do belive Opening Shot still superior due to AA conecting shots from distance more consistent.
AA just works for falloff distance? Cones are like having high AA getting headshots far from crit spot?
…why don’t we start with half our super bar filled, maybe even toss in a heavy weapon? Talking about 6s primarily.
If they throw me in shit match this would go a long way to keeping me in that match and not just jumping right out.
Edit: I’m a solo player and this happens to me quite frequently.
So many people using it in trials. Tried it this weekend, it felt really stick hitting those headshots.
Didn’t expect to clear the whole team
Returning player and just got a pretty great roll on the IB legacy slug. Hits 81 range with moving target and SS. Curious if slugs still cap at 80 range or if it is ideal to push it put as far as possible now.
If Bungie ever reintroduces Palindrome (good chance imo next Episode), this might be the best HC in the game bar Rose for the Lightweight Frame
Why? Besides it being a stat monster, it will probably roll new competitive PvP not available in 2022: Lone Wolf and Keep Away.
With the roll I screnshotted, Pali would have 100 AA, 90 AE (100 with Icarus or Extended Mag) and 10p range with reduced bloom. Combine that with lucky pants and you'll hit crits for day.
You can currently try this on Ancient Gospel and its sick, but it didn't get a stat bump or AE bump. Pali is stat for stat better than Ancient Gospel.
Edit: Tl;dr is get Slideways and try to get barrels for handling
I apparently need to learn how to use D2foundry better, didn't realize I could compare ready/stow/ads speeds with the different mods, and missed the handling stat from Slideways.
Now that 120's other than Igneous are cool again, I've been enjoying Crimil's, but suffering a bit from the low handling.
Is there any consensus on the Quick Access Sling mod vs higher handling, specifically the +6 from the tactical mod?
I'm pretty sure it has max range and decent other stats, and the best one I have currently is a snapshot one, so should I wait for future weeks or is this one good?
I was hunting this perk roll since episode Echoes and never got it, during Echoes I did 3 resets of IB and 2 half in the current episode, burned around 30+ IB engrams on Crimil already.
Ngl Slide/PI seems weighted, most roll I dropped was Strategist/EP - Moving/PI or Outlaw/Kill clip.
How many engrams focusing took you to get it? So I can actually decide if I should continue to farm it or give up thanks.
Daybreak now seems to have lost the infinite dashes, you have 2 initially but then you have a cooldown, anyone noticied that?
So, I got a Crimil’s Dagger with slideways and opening shot. Liked the way it felt so decided to enhance the perks and before I enhanced it the slideways buff would show for about 3 seconds on screen and after I enhanced it the timer now starts at 0 seconds. What’s going on? How much does this hurt the HC in crucible?
Finished my 18th game for IB and it said the rewards were an enhanced drop chance and a guaranteed momento, didn’t get the momento. What a Ben is this bungie?
I wanted to run Spirit of claw on Prism just to experiment with having 2 Penumbral Blast Charges. Throughout my gameplay I was wondering why I was never close to 2 full charges ever. Soon to realize that every death resets the cooldown if you have either of these exotic traits equipped.
# Testing
-Dying with a normal 1 use ability (P.B) with no exotic: *Normal, Charge Maintained*
-Dying with a normal 1 use ability (P.B) increased to 2 with COA and SOTC on Prismatic: *Lose the progress of the second charge. i.e if you die with 0 charges/ Progress on the first one you dont lose anything. Only when you die while having 1 full and making progress towards the 2nd charge.*
-Dying with a normal 1 use ability (P.B) increased to 2 with COA and SOTC on Solar (any other single element applies): *Same result as before thus suggesting its an issue with the exotic perk itsself and not prism as I believed*
-Dying with a base 3 multi charge ability (Needle) with no exotic on Strand: *Normal, No progress loss*
-Dying with a base 3 multi charge ability (Needle) with COA and SOTC increasing to 4 on Strand and prism: *Progress loss on 4th charge.*
# Conclusion
-The additional melee charge exotic perk (Both Claws of Ahamkara) as well as (Spirit of the Claw) on prism is bugged and not maintaining its charge upon death/ being reset every time you spawn
#Additional Comments
-If I am not aware of any changes, patch notes, dev replies from other posts or forums, or if someone else found this before me please let me know.
EDIT: Apparently this is not an exotic specific bug but rather a global bug with multi charge exotics across all classes that increase them.
I cut my losses and quit during Lightfall. Now that the game's had some time to sit, how's the Crucible looking? More than 80% of my time was spent in PvP when I was still playing so I'm very curious as to how things have panned out.
11/30 - General consensus seems to be "Not great and worse on console." Thank you all for the info. I think I'll be waiting until the next major patch before reinstalling.
Ran into a dude with archer's tempo twice on a bow and a few other combinations that just break pvp.. everyone says "_______ is gonna make me quit ______" but like why bother in pvp or updating pvp if someone has something head over heels better than your whole kit. Before someone mistakes this for salt, he was nearly negative and we won but commonly with these glitched guns they average a like .40 or .65 ttk and.. some combinations don't even need procs.. its just a guy that can kill you faster not even factoring if the gun is in skilled hands. I wanna hear some takes on how or why they should stay.. and be honest if you have some and a defense as to why they should stay
I’m getting into the fusion game pretty late. I got an adept plug one with lone wolf and kickstart. I know everyone is raving about closing time but I’m wondering how do they stack up next to each other and are both good perks?
I am one of the 3 OG behemoths that shoved cammy in a locker and I’m looking for more behemoths. I recently started a new YouTube channel with my last vid doing over 12k views.
The goal is to show off the game breaking things you can do on behemoth in rumble, 3s, 6s, and trials.
Behemoth stacking is so strong that I have multiple friends going on crazy win streaks (ex: Eis Spammen 303 win streak)
I’m searching for Behemoths to add that are high kd players that can keep up in high elo PC lobbies. I trail around a 2.3kd weekly when I solo behemoth but I’m looking to add more skilled ice users for vids.
If you are cracked on ice and would like to be in vids showing off how game breaking behemoth is, comment below: 👇
(Btw, slice + frost armor will blow yr mind)
Hello guardians.
I’m great at maneuvering so I see enemies before they see me, but I suck at landing crits so it’s really frustrating when I start shooting first but they turn around and three-tap me in less than a second. So my question is this:
What weapons give the best ttk without needing headshots?
So far I’ve had the best experience with TLW and Khovostov. I’m on ps5 so I use a controller.
Wasn't going to originally post this but after trying to consistenly recreate this to no avail, thought I could get some second opinions.
I have 2 other clips from the same match using Lone Wolf, Closing Time crafted Ancient Gospel.
Was using backup mag and priming the mag to have Closing Time active once I get into a gunfight.
Hey y'all,
Just wondering if I'm the only one noticing that their character is walking more than normal. I'm using my same load outs but can't tell if my controller is dieing or it's some weird bug.
Thanks!
I hate the doors on this map, not sure why they aren't removed. Control B area, you control the whole map and heavy in 6s....maybe 3s?
So how do you play the map? If other team has control of the middle?
With the new stasis one has anyone found the purpose of these sidearms in crucible yet?
Impulse amplifier seems mandatory and i feel like its not designed for kills more like something for weakening but just don't know what its niche is. Anyone with experience with them I'd greatly appreciate your input.
Any recommendations on strong kinetic sniper rolls? I have plenty of good energy snipers but Elsie's Rifle has been doggystyling for me in iron banner. Doesn't matter where they drop from, just throw out some good rolls. Thanks.
Does it exist? I can’t find the arc shell in collections or in the store? I have void and solar shells.
Specifically does Crimil's 2c1b with explosive payload after the nerf? I check the TTK charts, but couldn't find info on that combo.
Update: It does 2c1 body under T8.
