Far above Cayuga's waters,
with its waves of blue,
Stands our noble Alma Mater,
glorious to view.
Lift the chorus, speed it onward,
loud her praises tell;
Hail to thee our Alma Mater!
Hail, all hail, Cornell!

Does any library or space on campus run humidifiers? For this much tuition, I would like some moisture.
I'm an international student who applied to ED at Cornell.
On one page of their website, an "application timeline" on the financial aid page declares the due date to be 15th November (above)
However, elsewhere the site says 1st November. (above)
Since Cornell's applicant portal does not display the receipt status of any financial aid-related documents, I'm worried my CSS profile may not be accepted.
Could anyone tell me where I stand?
transferring to cornell for fall 2025 and just wanted to know about some pre-vet or animal related things i can look into! will i be able to intern at the vet hospitals/do research etc? thanks!
Hey yall,
I need a subletter for spring 2025 asap, located on Delaware Ave, room to yourself, 10 apartment mates, if interested please reach out to me. Thanks!
As an outside transfer, as far as prerequisites go, I’m ready to go for Nolan however for Dyson I still need to take a few more classes. Can I still pursue I path in finance with Nolan?
Anyone want tickets to the game Friday (12/6)? I have four extra.
Hello guys,
I am a masters student in computer science and I am graduating this December. I am an international student and haven't got a job yet. I have 2 months from December end before my OPT starts. I am curious of what international students do when they graduate without a corporate job? are there any other things I could look into?
I have tried contacting the professor whom I had been working under for an extension but he is fairly unresponsive almost all of the time. On my face he agrees to me working with me but later when I ask him to schedule a meeting , he ghosts me. NGO can be another thing I could try for but I am not sure where to find NGO jobs, do you guys have any suggestions?
Could anyone please let me know what else can I do till the time I don't get a corporate job? I am full on panicking right now and I really need an alternative in my career goals for now. I would be grateful to any ideas.
I’m trying to be an avian vet and I’m planning out the courses and prerequisites for Cornell. Is there anything else worth knowing about program?
Researching for my college essay and got a quick question. Essentially for this program I can receive an interdisciplinary learning right? Like if im majoring in biology i can also take other courses outside of biology like bioethics and public health through this program?
hi, I’m a senior graduating in May and deciding if I want to apply to med school still, so I’ll be taking 2 gap years. I’m not 100% sold on med school as there are other careers that interest me in the healthcare field, but I have always been interested in medicine and learning the most that I can. I have always planned on going to further professional/grad school regardless as education is something that is very important to me. I guess I am feeling overwhelmed though because I am not entirely sure what my gap year will consist of and I feel like I am late to the game. Was/did anyone feel this way? What did you spend your gap year doing? should I be worried about not having applied to jobs yet? My plan was to live at home and work in a private practice as an MA to save money, but I’m not sure if I should be doing something more “impressive”. Any advice would be appreciated 🥹 definitely in my head a bit
How do y'all tend to get to and from campus and CT? My friend goes to UConn Storrs and wants to come up to visit, but taking a Peter Pan or Greyhound Bus would be an up to 10 hour trip.
as a cornell student is there any place i can play indoor tennis or pickleball? or badminton? lmk
I have a bachelor degree in business (3.5 GPA and second class honor) also, I have 3 years experience. In my case, how likely is it that I will get a GMAT waiver? Specially that I am in a full time job currently and there is no time to prepare for the exam.
I'm currently undecided on whether to stay in Ithaca for my masters and am likely going to have to wait for months to receive decisions on my applications. As a result, I haven't signed a lease for next year. I know that the housing market in Ithaca is competitive, to say the least. What's my likelihood for finding housing for the next academic year if I decide to stay in Ithaca? Thanks!

Hello people of Reddit! My research partner and I are from MIT and are studying loneliness/social interaction dynamics on college campuses after Covid. We have experience with loneliness ourselves, but, obviously we are not representative of the entire college population. We would love to hear your thoughts and opinions! If you feel ever so inclined, please answer as many of the questions below that you would like to! Any length of answer is appreciated, but the more in-depth/detailed your response, the better! It would also be really helpful if you could include your age and gender! Thank you so much for your time! :)
Please keep in mind that these questions are in terms of friendship not dating!
Is anyone selling last minute frozen apple tickets need 2
In section 115 - Cornell section. Got them thru Cornell box office.
Hi everyone! I'm on the hunt for old magazines, books, or similar materials to use in creating collages. I’ve checked out a couple of antique stores in Ithaca and found some great old magazines, but they’re a bit too expensive and nice to cut up for art projects.
Does anyone know of more affordable places to find these kinds of materials? Thrift stores, libraries clearing out old stock, or even people looking to get rid of old magazines would be awesome. Open to any suggestions! Thanks in advance for your help.
I have two tickets available section 101 row 19 seat 16 and 17. Selling them as a pair for $124.20- exactly what I paid.

Is anyone sellling tickets for the Frozen Apple game tonight?
Always been jealous of people who have the 'it' factor. JD/MBA, IB summer internship + T3 law school. It's hard not to feel like a failure when I work a chill office job in comparison. Genuinely feel like I should be curing cancer or world hunger with my pedigree. Like okay I have a degree, but I have a degree in a world full of degrees.
Just venting tbh. Not blaming anyone. I admittedly coasted in college: took the easiest classes (ironically still ended up with a mediocre GPA) and thought having the degree would save me. Was able to schmooze my way into a top firm but now people are starting to realize how incompetent and how much of a dullard I really am.
The weight of an Ivy League degree is heavy. Feels like people have huge expectations of me but I know I won't ever fulfill them. Sometimes I wonder if it would have been better if I stayed a big fish in a small pond.
