I would like to switch primary care providers who still protect their patients from Covid infections. Does anyone have a dentist or pcp who doesn't just wear a surgical mask? Bonus points if anyone has a pcp who has talked with them about long covid prevention planning.
Took the fam and friends trick or treating and it was a blast. Wonderful friendly neighbors all over the city, it was just such a fun vibe.
Thank you so much to everyone who made the effort!
My family and I, including my wife who wears a hijab and our two children (ages 8 and 5), are planning to move from Virginia to Columbia, MO, for work. I would like to learn more about the city’s diversity and inclusivity. Will my wife feel comfortable and welcomed? Additionally, is there a sizable Arab community in Columbia?
I've just moved into a home here this year and before was in an apartment and never had trick or treators (treaters?) Anywho, I have my own personal candy like the big bars so if there are kids who do, I'll throw some in a bowl and be ready!
So I am a new international student at Mizzou, and I'm looking for a good dentist in town. Unfortunately I don't have dental insurance.
So I was looking for some dentals around town. I got in contact with a few dentals and most of them accept cash/card payments if without insurance. One such place, Columbia Healthy Smiles, told me that the cost of a new patient appointment is around $450. And the price for a filling (that I need to do) can go upto $350. Are these prices typical? Does it cost that much just to go for a checkup?
I obviously am unable to pay up such an amount upfront. Are there any suggestions in this case that I could go with? Should I buy a dental insurance on top of my normal health insurance? Or should I go for a financing option such as Cherry or CareCredit? (I've heard/saw mixed opinios about CareCredit, so I am undecided on that)
(Also any good dentals in town? Currently All American Dental, Moxie Dental, Columbia Healthy Smiles (maybe not anymore with the prices) are on my list. Hamiltons dental unfortunately does not accept new patients at the time)
TIA does anyone know a person in Columbia that could swing by our home that is licensed in Missouri to marry a couple? Marrige license is already in hand. Will be happy to pay a fee for their time.
Reason I'm asking to come to do the short ceremony at my home. One person is disabled and can't get around very well.
Friday if available. Shouldn't take long just the legal ceremony and sign off on the license.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
What are y'all taking your kids to do tonight?
My husband got a job at the power plant near Steedman. We are moving from Toronto and we don't want to live so far from a main city so are thinking of living somewhere in Columbia. We have a baby and a kitten, so are looking for a safe, family & pet friendly rental. Ideally far away from students/college life. Any recommendations? Ideally an apartment for lower maintenance but ok with a house too. Any website you recommend using to find rentals? There are a lot out there!
Thank you in advance!
I’m just trying to not pay $13 for a sandwich.
I saw on Facebook that the carriage rides will be back! I really want to go in early December. My husband and I went 2 or 3 years ago and had to sign up the day of. Does anyone know what time you can sign up? I know the spots fill up fast.
I have the mirror. Anyone have any recommendations for an affordable mechanic or body shop to install it for me?
Thanks!

Hello CoMO,
I’m needing someone that can 3d scan my engine entire front accessories drive. Needing it so I can then have a custom bracket made. My build is custom and this is the only way. Anyone got any lines on help? We will pay!
Not sure if this is really the best place to put this but figured I'd try.
Im a 20yo guy that moved here from the west coast in August. I've been wanting to get into a gym to really start working out. However, being new I don't have a social circle yet. I've done research on fitness and my specific gym goals in the past, but haven't really ever put it into action. I have a gym at my apartment complex but am also open to purchasing a membership to a public gym. I'm looking for someone my age (or even better a group) that is already knowledgeable in this respect that I can be included in, befriend, and go to the gym with. I'm just putting feelers out at this point and ideally would like to talk with people about my specific circumstances and goals prior to diving right in. I know there's coaching programs available, but I'd prefer something more social and an opportunity to make friends outside the gym too. My messages are open and I have other platforms to talk on if someone would like to include me. I really want to get started on this and would prefer to have some friends to do it with. Thank you for reading!
Looking for a vocal/singing coach for a teenager. Who do you know and recommend?
I’m looking for a good gym - open to classes, for loosing weight. I’ve been to planet and crunch, really looking for somewhere I won’t feel judged
Trying to break into cars even in the middle of the storm? Security lights barely deter these little shit nowadays.

Winner of three Tony Awards, three Outer Critics Circle Awards, two Lucille Lortel Awards and two Obie Awards, Urinetown is a hilarious musical satire of the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, environmental collapse, privatization of natural resources, bureaucracy, municipal politics, and musical theatre itself! Director Dr. Joy Powell and Choreographed by Emily Ehling.
In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides that he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!

What are the adults doing tonight besides going to bars? Not a big bar person and this is one of my first Halloweens where I’m an adult with a big kid job so I can’t party my ass off. Figured I would stay home and watch a movie but that feels a little depressing
