It's so frustrating. After losing my 6000 Dai that I accidentally sent via BEP20 to Coinbase almost 4 years ago, I was now able to recover it according to Coinbase with the Recovery Tool. It already threw me into a deep depression back then, and now I'm afraid of having to relive the whole thing again. The Coinbase support is just super complicated, and often I'm not sure if I'm talking to a human or an AI. They don't address screenshots, send standard responses, or just stop responding altogether. Long story short, my recovered coins still haven't arrived in my wallet after 5 days, and my Coinbase account still says 'pending' even though I've received an email saying the coins were sent to my wallet. Please help! thank you!

Yes received an automated scam call from 888-908-7930 stating it was from Coinbase support and to press one if I did not authorize a transaction. Then "Isaac Muller" calls back from 831-512-1767 stating he's from Coinbase support and did I authorize any transaction from Muhammed in Utah - of course not, so he's building trust and then sends an email for each from Employee Verification [#45435]

eventually says to click the "secure encrypted" link in the email he sent which harvests any password you enter and then asks of the 12-24 word recovery seed private key for your cold storage wallet so they can "disconnect it from Coinbase" so the thieves won't have access to it.

Got two msgs to voice mail from 1 808 444 0857 claiming my account had "unrecognizable" IP sign ins. The message was automated. Meanwhile my main account has no alerts in it via the dashboard or app.

do coinbase charge 2.49%fees if u spend usdc/usdt to purchase stuff in the UK as daily basis? or it’s visa conversation rate only?

i currently use other card for daily spend, they do announce there are no fees for native usdc, just apply master card currency conversion rates for your spend. but it’s actually about 3% after the rates finalised in few days. but when i check master website the rate are not matched at all.

I tried swapping Sol for CWIF and never recieved the CWIF.

I was chatting with a coinbase agent for 2 hours and fourty minutes just to have the agent tell me it's my fault for not checking the recipient address when performing the swap.

But we DO NOT input a recipient address during swaps AND how would i have a receiving address for CWIF when i have never received any before??????

am i wrong or was the Coinbase agent unqualified and unaware of the components used in a swap?

note: CWIF is up over 50% today and will probably still climb

edit: I checked my SOL address on the explorer and the CWIF is linked to the account but just not showing in my cb wallet

Anybody know how to get a limit increase? I have a 50,000 limit on crypto.com. Coinbase gives me a 1,000 limit on each ACH account and when I use it, it takes a week or two to go back to 1,000. I ask for an increase with an immediate denial every time.

Sorry to break away from the usual regularly scheduled programming of people complaining about their accounts being supposedly locked and then arguing with a group of other people about who is a bot and who isn't a bot, etc. but I thought it might be a good idea to post here about an idea/suggestion I have for a feature that I think is sorely lacking on the Coinbase platform.

We should have the ability to be able to convert the small amounts of 'dust' we have in our accounts into USDC/USD/BTC or whatever. It would be nice to have the ability to do it all at once, where we could select the multiple different tokens that we have sitting in there that we want to swap into say, USDC, and then click one more button to have it done.

I know that this feature exists on other exchanges, I'm not sure why it has never been implemented on Coinbase. I surely can't be the only one who has a bunch of random dust sitting around in my account, which adds up over time -- stuff with like, 12 cents, 15 cents, etc. where it's either not worth it, fee-wise, to swap it for such a small amount, or it's not even available as an option.

What do you guys think?

Hey guys! I want to buy a crypto that has only the pair Crypto/USDC. The thing is, should I deposit FIAT through a bank transfer, wait 1-3 business days for the deposit to arrive, then buy USDC and then convert it to the crypto I want OR should I buy USDC directly using a card instantly? Are there any fees with the second method?

Straight to the point, I was bad at recording my transactions in different exchanges but now I'm trying to correct that by going to the exchanges transactions history report and I'm VERY disappointed with coinbase reports accuracy.

I know 100% for a fact that I converted some USDC into TRAC in December 2021 but when I generate the custom statement report for 2021 the report comes out EMPTY like I did no f*cing transactions that year and that's a lie.

My reports for 2022 and 2023 came out empty as well but there is a chance that that could be true cuz I was using different exchanges to do my transactions those years including kucoin, binance and others(maybe I didn't use coinbase during those years I guess). But I can't be 100% sure cuz the 2021 report came out empty but again that's a LIE cuz I wrote in my excel sheet about a transaction I did in Dec 2021 using coinbase.

Soooooooo is there any way to get reports for different years that actually tell u the truth? I guess the only one I can trust is the year to date? I mean I used coinbase extensively from January 2024 and it seems all my transactions are there but I can't trust coinbase accuracy since I know the 2021 report is dead WRONG.

I just wanted to share my experience with Coinbase, one of the brokers in the US, regarding my crypto investments. Unfortunately, it has been a painful one. I started investing in crypto on Coinbase back in 2022 with a decent amount of money. My plan was to invest for the long term, around 5 to 10 years, so I put a substantial amount in and decided to let it sit and grow.

As we all know, there was a huge crypto dip in 2023, but even then, I didn't sell. Long story short, when crypto hit its highest high in 2024, I was ready to sell, only to realize that Coinbase had locked my account for no reason.

Their customer service has been one of the worst I've encountered. They restricted me from using my own account because they couldn't identify who I was (BULLSHIT). I submitted all the required documents, statements, payrolls, and bank statements, yet they kept rejecting my requests to use my own account.

What's even worse is that one of the biggest brokers in the world only contacted me via email. Their so-called compliance department (KYC Coinbase) doesn't even have a phone number. Coinbase made $3 billion in 2023, yet one of the most crucial departments in their company doesn't have a phone line? How ridiculous does that sound huh?

Since they deal with millions of users every day, when I submitted my request with all the information, I had to wait for a month to hear back from them. And even then, they would keep denying my request with some bullshit reasons.

Dealing with them has been so painful because I couldn't even access my own account. So instead of dealing with them directly, I decided to contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFBP). These big companies don't give a s*** about you, but when it comes to Bureau, oh yeah they scared the shit out of them.

Luckily, and what a huge relief, after filing a complaint with the CFBP, they finally allowed me to use my own account, AFTER 6 MONTHS OF LOCKING MY ACCOUNT FOR NO REASON!!

So, for everyone investing in crypto, here's a friendly reminder: DON'T EVER USE COINBASE. They will F*** you up with some bullshit reasons. I've seen thousands of people complaining about the same issue, like having their $30K account locked up for no reason, and I'm one of the very few lucky ones who got out of it.
