Hey y'all. Me again with you annual reminder that dabo is the reason for our deteriorating fundamental stability. Sorry? Not sorry.

Off a bye week, at home, and all of a sudden we not only cant tackle, but we have the defensive pursuit of highschool team. Their running back was able to blast through the tackles at least 10 times completely untouched. It wasn't that we were being blown off the line of scrimmage, we weren't able to recognize the play until the runner was well within the secondary.

When our offense is clicking, it's one of the most beautiful things to watch in the country. When it's not clicking, I'm left bashing my head against the wall wondering why we're throwing a 6 yard pass on a 3rd and 11. We become so predictable if we can't blast off chunk plays. I've only ever seen the offense in one of these two states. Nothing in between.

When we find ourselves down, I feel that the other team(whoever it may be) just has the upper hand on coaching. They catch us off guard on the line. They get us to commit the dumbest penalties at crucial times. Teams feel they can attempt trick plays or cheeky actions on us. We choke on the easy stuff.

All of these things come down to fundamentals. I just don't think we are drilling the basics anymore. And even if we are, why are we messing up on stuff that other teams are easily accomplishing? If you look at the stats side by side, you wouldn't believe the score at the end.. and that is starting to happen far too often.

At a certain point, the top man needs to be held accountable. I didn't even mention the transfer portal because that's another 15 paragraphs. I'm just asking that on the field we are acting like a team that wants to be a contender. This is now year after year. We looked promising against a bunch of nobody's. But Georgia(who arguably looks bad against so-so opponents) blew us out... And now our first formidable acc opponent bullies us at home? Brent venables wouldn't have put up with this lack of defense, and 2017 dabo wouldn't have either..

This is the end of my rant because I'm tired. But holy shit do more people need to start having this opinion..

I am not asking in rage but i’m asking genuinely in confusion, what was that ? Going into the game 10 point favorites, playing IN DEATH valley, often regarded as one of the toughest road venues. Was it Garret Riley??? Was it Dabo ? I genuinely have no clue. We single handedly destroyed our playoff chances

Embarrassed to be in any way associated with this school tonight in every capacity. Dabo can’t do math or run a 2 minute drill.

This mistake is completely unacceptable. It doesn’t even deserve an explanation because it is that bad. 13 to 12 with so little time left does literally nothing—- nothing to help you. 11 is Td+2+3. Nobody makes that mistake ever. Been watching football for 30 years literally nobody makes that mistake. What an absolute embarrassment.

My own take is the secondary had looked shaky at times and you could alsways add depth to the offensive line.

All 3 are undefeated in ACC play and will jot play each other in the regular season.

Not sure why we pulled the first team offense. This was a big important game. Keep them out there and finish the game properly. Second teamers dont have to play every game.

Odd pace, everything seems lackadaisical w/ an occasional burst of energy. I think Clemson has a happy go lucky attitude w/ Spiller being inducted into the Ring of Honor & Elliot’s return as a coach. The Tigers need to wake up & play w/ some fire. There’s been too many penalties.

Clemson enters 5-1 while the Cavaliers are a respectable 4-2, coming off a tough loss to Louisville.

Tigers are a 21 point favorite at home.
