I have been longing to do a tribute mix to one of the legends of trance music. He is the reason that I was catapulted into the electronic music scene and ever since then I never looked back.
Even though he does not make the same sounds anymore as he used to back then, I would always go back and relisten to the marvelous tracks he made. Legend! Timeless!
Enjoy!

Hey what's up Classic Trance fans! I happened to stumble across the rule of 4s mix contest here, and I also incidentally put out my own all 1994 mix a couple of days ago on the Trancespotting podcast (run by my friends Spyware here in NYC). I spent a lot of time researching this one on discogs and digging through contemporary tracklists so I hope it gives you that slightly mental early 90s energy :) 1994 mixes by leftfield, spiral tribe, dave angel etc. were big influences, and I've also tried to avoid some of the more obvious '94 anthems, so I hope there will be some tracks on here you've not heard before and the mix will be more immersive without the orange theme or amphetamine (for example! I do love those tracks though). Lots of classic Harthouse, Noom, and Superstition on here but also some tidbits from more underground US labels like Drop Bass Network and Defective.
Full tracklist on the soundcloud! Enjoy :)
This is my attempt to (re)capture the essence of trance music during its golden era, and this mix is purely inspired by numerous albums and compilations that I have listened all throughout the years.
This is not just an ordinary mix, it's a musical journey.
Enjoy!
