Chris Chan taking 5 years to finish his associates degree is considered on his wiki to be an example of his stupidity and/or laziness. Personally, I think that's a little too harsh, at least on behalf of people who also take a while to complete their 2-year degree. Rather, it's WHY it took so long for the oaf is what makes it's pathetic.

There can be plenty of understandable reasons why students take it slow. They can be working a part-time job and are only taking one, two, or a few classes per semester. Maybe they have special needs. Maybe they don't want to be overwhelmed with so many assignments at once. Maybe they are trying to budget (college can be expensive AF). Or any other legit reason. Just because you take a few years to complete an associates degree doesn't make you pathetic like Chris Chan.

His issue was that he was lazy and was a complete @$$. He didn't work at a job or anything important to help his family. And while he did and still has special needs, that's no excuse for him being rude. He was being homophobic and disrespectful in other ways towards his peers (to the point where he was kicked out classes), got into fights with the freaking Dean, Mary Lee Walsh (who is a very gracious and kind lady, despite what Chris says otherwise) to the point of being suspended, and other reasons I can't remember on top of my head.

In short, it's okay to take your time with a 2-year degree. Don't overburden yourself. Just try to make the most of your time doing important things and especially don't misbehave like Chris did.

I find Chris's obsession with Crystal and dismissal of Chris's actual siblings: Cole, David, Liquid and Carol, in favour of a shitty fictional twin kinda asshole-ish.

One of the things that piss me off about Chris is his audacity to steal other people’s OCs without their permission. I don’t know why he does but I bet he’s got some delusional explanation as fucking always. As an OC maker myself if he stole mine, I’d chew him the fuck out for doing so. Why exactly does he do this?

Maybe something is wrong with me but I just do. Not that I see him as perfect or a great person. Just quirky, fascinating and oddly likeable.

I think part of the reason CWC is so famous is an underlying likeability that most people don't realize is there all along, keeping them invested.

If CWC was purely disgusting and repulsive people wouldn't have focused so much time and energy on him.

As protective as CwC is/was of all his creations, it’s strange to me how the idea guys were able to influence Chris’s own characters and his entire world. Even more so, CwC sent them thousands of dollars. I know Chris is gullible and easy to manipulate, but for some reason this felt beyond his usual boundaries.

Ive have a head-theory for a whole that CwC was/is so chronically lonely that when he got any interaction online whatsoever, he enjoyed it or never ignored it. During that Saga we can how annoyed he is with his mom and how he basically can’t stand it anytime she talks to him. (although that didn’t stop him from other thihgs.)

My point is, something about how the idea guys interacted with him via the CPU goddess anime lore(?) as a means of control is very odd, even for CwC.
