Hi everyone! I know next to nothing about Chinese music, but recently discovered a great album of traditional songs which I only had as completey untagged and unnamed mp3s:

I would very much like to know more about the artists and compositions, but had no luck trying to research the source of this release.
Can anyone pin down the name of this album (likely a CD from 10-30 years ago)? Or at least the names of some of the songs?
Just sharing if anyone wants to listen. Messing around with new chords on alternate tunings - ive been playing in this tuning for acouple years and still havent figured out the chord patterns.
I think this type of music is a lot less popular in China, but I want to look for it nonetheless.
I’m a big fan of bands like Death, Dystopia and Maximum The Hormon. I’m also a big fan of everything Chinese, so lmk if i can mix the two

Does anyone know where I can find English translation to this song? I'm curious about the lyrics
This is a cover of a movie song. This version is more rock. I am in Canada and Shazam has no clue about the song. It is often used in tai chi Instagram reels. I apologize for the quality. Can you help me find this specific version? Thanks.

My wife is native Chinese, grew up with the 90s music; she loves the popular songs from these times. Either Mandarin or Cantonese.
Is there any concert place, or restaurant in London with singing evening where we could listen to live music? I've never tried Karaoke evening, if there are any, would it be a best fallback option? (not karaoke rooms, but some good singers going on stage)
Not modern Chinese pop, only late 80s or the 90s.
It's our 20's anniversary, I would like to invite her to something special.
Any tip would be greatly appreciated.
I want to purchase a full collection of old red Chinese revolutionary songs and operas on CD but can't find any anywhere online, or it's just modern stuff. Is there any Chinese sites that have them? Or just somewhere I'm not looking?
I’ve listened to Yunjin’s opera in the past and absolutely loved it and I was wondering if people could recommend me some other songs to listen to.

I'm Chinese American and I'd love to listen to more Chinese music. Thing is, my favorite genres are reggaeton, Brazilian funk, and Afrobeats, and after that hip hop, pop, and r&b. My experience with Chinese music is it tends to be very much either piano ballads or clubby kpop, which I'm just not super into. Is there any music out there that's more similar to dancehall beats?
If you can send the link for the song on YouTube, Spotify, or any other music platform, that'd be greatly appreciated!
