Off of my 94 Cherokee, never have been changed. Honestly planning on buying bigger wheels and tires so seeing if someone wants the classic set
So I have a 96 right hand drive XJ, was using it for mail delivery but I got another job. Runs well, body in good shape, no rust. Pulls to the left a bit.
Selling my 87 MJ. Short bed. 4 wheel drive. 4.0l. 285k but tons of new parts. Full new brake system. Aftermarket radiator and surge tank. New exhaust. Engine fully rebuilt with new head about 30k miles ago. Runs strong. Np231. Dana 35 and 30. DM me for info. Also listed on Santa Barbara Craigslist.
Practically new Rubicon Express 3-1/2” lift front springs (model RE1300). Installed and removed after ~1500 miles because I wanted a lower ride height. Fits 84-01 Jeep Cherokee XJs.
$130 picked up in No.VA (22046 & 20110), or $150 shipped ground within the US.
DM me if you have any questions

New unused Rubicon Express Adjustable Track Bar for Jeep Cherokee XJ, Jeep Wrangler TJ, and Grand Cherokee (confirm your year and model). Part number RE1600
I changed my mind and went with a much lower lift than I had originally planned so I don't need this after all. $100 picked up in No.VA (20110 & 22046) or $115 shipped ground within the US.
PM me if you have any questions.

Thinking about selling the XJ along with the parts car in Northern NJ
The 2001 60th anniversary:
Currently has 190000 miles.
Runs strong and has tires with less than 1000 miles on them (Hankook AT2). it has a 2.5 inch Rough Country lift and stabilizer. There is a check engine light for an evap leak and the exhaust is leaking. The plan was to take the newer and better parts from the 99 and put it on this one but it doesnt need much. i removed the headliner and carpet to add lightening (haha). I've taken it offroad locally a few times where its a champ. the usual surface rust and dings.
The 1999:
By chance, I picked up this car when it was hit in the rear passenger side outside my parents home. the frame is gone but its got almost everything else. Its got 160000 miles on it if that matters. Axles look fine, wheels are good with 6-7 year old coopers and none of the glass is broke n. The engine was good and running but i started removing all of the accessories when i thought i was going to part it all out and just keep what i wanted. it has a hitch on it but i dont know if it was damaged at all in the crash. No title for this but it does have a key.
My hope is that someone buys both so i can move onto my other projects. would need to tow the parts car. AAA took it for me no problem.
Looking for 3500 or any reasonable offer.

This Jeep has 207k miles on the clock, but is in great shape. As far as I know, there's nothing wrong with it other than minor cosmetic issues and some tears in the side of the driver's seat. I have kept up the maintenance, done some of the big items on it within the past two years, and some "modern" upgrades as well.
This jeep is a great 4x4 that I've taken up roads like some of the shelf roads and Fall River Road several times. It's an automatic transmission and the transfer case is the one that has all the options: 4 wheel high full time, 4 wheel high part time, neutral, 2 wheel drive, and 4 wheel low.
It's great in the snow, and with the maintenance and upgrades, has made a great and fun vehicle for many years for me. I average about 19 miles per gallon (up from about 16.5 before I did all the work) and I regularly do 80mph with it. I'm only selling it because I've turned into an everyday long distance commuter and I've already got another project car. Time for me to get something a bit more directed towards commuting.
This is a strong, clean base for anyone to build their dream XJ or to keep "basically stock". I love this vehicle. The engine, even with these miles, is in great shape and my mechanic just laughed at me when I asked when it'd give up the ghost so I could have an excuse to build it into a stroker. It's going strong and shows no signs of trouble. He expects it'll see another 100k with regular maintenance.
Here's the list to the best of my recollection:
Recent major updates and maintenance:
- Rear main seal
- NP242 Transfer case replaced with a remanufactured one at 200k miles
- I had rust (only rust I know of) under passenger seat from an old ac condenser leak, took out entire front passenger pan and welded in a replacement. No more rust.
- Tune up (plugs and wires)
- Replaced summer wheels with black painted MJ wheels
- Mostly new Cooper AT tires 2 years old (Cooper Discoverer AT3 235/75R15)
- AC rebuild about 4 years ago
- Shocks updated
- Thermostat housing replaced
- Valve cover gaskets replaced
- Full synthetic oil all the time
- Fully repainted when it was showing signs of wear (about 3 years ago maybe)
- Replaced radiator
- Steering components had some updates and replacements over the past years due to general wear
Modernizing and upgrades:
- Yellow Top battery
- Factory skid plates for gas tank and front end added. Never found a factory transfer case plate
- 4 hole bosch injector
- K&N air filter
- Beefier battery and starter cables
- Mirror with dash cam, rear cam, and backup camera with monitor built into the mirror (not high quality, but it works well)
- Dual din touchscreen Alpine iLX W650 radio with Android Auto / Apple Carplay / Bluetooth (great for navigation and sound quality)
- Ram cellphone mount and USB-A passthrough (to plug cell phone in to radio and charge it) on shifter plate. Great on the trail and easy access on the road
- Four aftermarket 6.5" speakers (Pioneer, I think)
- JL 10" sub flush mounted in rear compartment
- Subwoofer amp class D under the passenger seat
- Remote start and keyless entry
- Replaced the center console bracket with a steel replica ... no more wobble and far more secure
- H4 headlight upgrade with full relay isolation, far brighter (like modern headlights and better than the sealed beam lights)
- Locking lugnut set from discount tire
- Rear overhead latch on passenger side for kid carseats (factory installed recall issue from early 2000's)
- Tow bar and tow electric
Extras:
- 5 wheels and winter tires 1 year old (Blizzak 235/70R16) on original Jeep wheels
- Spare rear seat back and headrests and rear seat back from a ZJ. The goal was to add headrests to the XJ with some simple cutting and welding of the brackets, but I didn't get to it
I recently inherited a 1985 Laredo 4x4 with the 2.5L 4-cylinder that has been in the family for a long time, and am looking for the someone that has the interest and means to maintain it/turn it into a project. Located in denver area.
It was used as a daily driver/commuter car so it runs fine and has been maintained pretty well, not to say it doesn't need work. 4x4 works fine, is in pretty good condition outside the headliner fabric coming down. Passes emissions, currently re-registered as collector car.
201k miles. In the last 3 years it has had.. a new cat installed, new master/slave clutch cylinders, new clutch, a bunch of power steering lines replaced.
No real idea what she is worth, so reasonable offers or help with that are also quite welcome. Cheers!
Looking to trade pre 96? Grey door panels for black door panels. I will even pay shipping both directions since I know black are a a bit more rare. Must be lower 48
GONE Sent to the ol' scrapyard. RIP
About to send my 1999 xj to the scrap yard. I gave up on it after replacing the water pump and whatnot. The leakdown test failed, so the head gasket is likely blown. I just want to see if anyone wants it for the parts. Will need towed. Has been sitting for a year. Good bit of rust, but the 4wd works and many other parts. Black 4dr. Will likely be gone for scrap in the next couple of weeks. Just wanted to get a few bucks out of it.
