I decided to use a d20 (20-sided die) for yes/no divination. I said "Over 10 is yes, under 10 is no." I asked my question. I rolled a 20. However, this was a very important question to me, and so I had to be sure that it wasn't just luck. I asked my question a second time, and rolled again. I got ANOTHER 20. I was a bit awestruck, but because this was a question that I was in pretty hardcore denial over, I said: "Yeah, that's a pretty cool coincidence, but I'm gonna need more than that to convince me. If you give me another 20, then I'll believe it." I asked my question a third time, and rolled again. IT WAS A 20. I was SHOOK. Like this flat out never happens. Three crits in a row? The chances are infinitesimal. (.0125%)
I'm sure you're wondering the question, but it's kind of personal, regarding my love life, so I'm not going to share it. I just wanted to share this experience that I highly doubt would happen without magick involved. And dice divination seriously works, people!
I've been contacted by what I'm beginning to believe is a dream entity. Every time I contact him, he manifest slightly different visually, but generally coheres to one design. I've not been able to find much information on him, but I have some leads. I don't believe he is particularly well documented, and could very likely have been an accidental manifestation on my part.
If I want to write out instructions on how to make contact with him, should I include a description? Or will that limit his manifestation for others, considering his appearance changes every time? Should I be letting others create their own connection with him so he can show up how they need him to manifest, or can I tell them exactly what to be looking for?
I have a very important test next month. For two years, i couldn't manage to pass it. Last week i started to study again and today i checked a little about if there is any spell or ritual that i can perform...
But finally i decided to perform something just as however i feel good. Invoking and goddess, candle spells, sigils.... I am still not so sure but during gnosis state, i can find a way to do it and perform as soon as i see that way.
Wish me luck!!
edit: ....oh....I got banned?....wow....I guess this post is pretty offensive to chaos magicians....what in the world was I thinking?....

In Condensed Chaos by Phil Hine, he has a story about a friend of his in college who had a big exam coming. The friend was not adequately prepared for the test. If he had been a more traditional occultist he might’ve used a well documented ceremony to invoke, say, Athena or Mercury. Nope. He chose to create his own ceremony and invoked Spock. Yep. The one from Star Trek. He aced the test.
Athena, Mercury, and Spock are all symbols. And in Chaos magic any symbol that feels powerful to you, can be powerful for you.
Or, here’s another way of looking at it...
Hello my fellow chaotes, I made a discord server for everyone who parctice or is interested in chaos magick, to have friendly discussions, give or ask some advices, maybe making some work together and chill a little bit, feel free to join: https://discord.gg/92ZrFD9
Would love to get together some time (socially distanced of course) if there is any other Chaotes from the UK. I'm based in the West Midlands!
Here is a step by step list for thinking through the creation of a servitor. This is what I use, but it can be changed/updated to fit your practice/belief/will. Lots of this is inspired from Phil Hine's process.
Some is dated, there is (especially in work before a certain time) a touch of misogyny/anti-LGBTQ. Reading Wilson's work, I feel it is a prejudice based on ignorance and certain reality tunnels not hate. Anyway, here's the full book (not my link).
Each chapter has a set of exercises. I compiled them into one document, so that it is easier to do them, record them and use them as opposed to the e-version or an analog verison.
I think chaos magicians are known for being a bit nerdy, so I will share my discoveries here.
I created a pentagram and put a platonic solid (polyhedral die) on each point, (d4-fire, d6-earth, d8-air, d12-spirit, d20-water) Then I assigned each element a D&D class(es). (sorcerer-fire, monk-earth, bard-air, warlock-spirit, cleric-water) Then I employed each platonic solid/die in a servitor-like manner, by assigning them jobs. For example, today I wanted to use an ouija board, but didn't have anyone to do it with me. I tried it by myself, but no dice (haha). So I take out my d12 and say "Warlock, will you partake with me?" I intuitively sense yes, so I position my warlock opposite me on the other side of the board. When I touch the planchette, I imagine my warlock also touching it, and channeling the spirit world (as warlocks do in D&D). Much better results. I would be curious to know if anyone else incorporates nerdy hobbies into their magick. I use D&D for other forms of magick, like character sheet "voodoo dolls," divination by dice rolling etc, though this is my first time using it in this manner—so I thought I would report my success! I am new to working platonic solids into my magick also, (though I have a fascination with dice-collecting haha!) so if anyone has experience with them, I would be curious to hear about the ways they can be used.
Hello all! I figured I’d finally reach out and ask after a good month of struggling. I’ve read most of liber null and condensed chaos and I’ve been working on my skill with the 3 main trances out of the former. Object concentration, sound concentration and image concentration. Out of the 3 object is the easiest for me to practice but sound and especially image feel impossible! I can hold the image of a triangle in my mind for a moment, but the next moment it’s shifted into a slightly different shape, and the next moment it’s practically a different image all together. I also can’t seem to repeat any sounds in my head for very long. I always have to restart when I realize I haven’t been repeating the sound. I meditate for 30 minutes to an hour 5 days a week, and I’ve noticed some improvement with my ability to stay still and I can quiet my mind to some extent (I’ve never gotten close to total emptiness), but my trances are really weak right now. I want to move on to some sigil work but I feel like without the ability to hold an image or repeat a phrase it won’t be too effective. Any and all advice will be helpful!
Hello!
I am not sure on which particular subreddit I saw this or even when, but I remember reading someone giving advice about spells not working and things to try. I remember the person suggesting to the OP that they learn their Enneagram type so that they could figure out how best to word spells that work with their "type". My question is - does anyone actually do this? I already know my type but I'm unsure of how to use language to cater to it in terms of spell crafting. I'm pretty fascinated with this idea though. I'd love to discuss in general. Thanks!!
Since Dionysus is practically the god of wine (and in the Mycanaean lens, insanity and madness), has anyone had any experience utilizing Dionysus in their work?
I'm drawn to the Dionysian symbolism, so I'd like some thoughts on this! Thanks!
I’ve found myself confused no matter how many times I’ve read over this area. It associates obtaining the meditative state with the death stare for up to 30 minutes when training. Now, it says not to blink as you stare at a point. I want to make sure I am understanding/practicing this correctly:
I am to stare at a stationary point for up to 30 minutes with thoughtless mind and no blinking? Push away the discomfort and false need associated with twitching, swallowing a dry mouth or other assumed discomforts of the body?
Hey, so I'm hoping to charge a sigil to help me stay stable over the coming retrograde. I'm going to charge it at work. I run a very popular quiz, and all eyes are on me for the night lol. I'm going to place the sigil behind a blank badge, and use the attention I get to charge it. But what would be a good affirmation for dealing with Mars Retrograde?

Great read from a pure science perspective but I found this line intriguing from a Chaos Magician's view: "And if, per Mach’s principle, inertia and gravity are one and the same, then changing an object’s energy means messing with the very fabric of spacetime. In theory, anyway."
Well, of course, they're one and the same! All things are one and the same and everything is connected! GAIA, Mach's Principles, all of it...
You cannot have an outside if there is no inside. You cannot have unlimited gravity without an equivalent propellant!
The imposition of order only increases the escalation of chaos. Or, as Princess Leia said "The more star systems you seize, Grand Moff Tarkin, the more will slip through your fingers"
Or later in the article:
" Woodward’s favorite Einstein quote is “Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous,” and his cancer ordeal only reinforced his belief in its fundamental truth. “There was just one coincidence after another,” Woodward says. “By all rights, I should have been dead and gone 15 years ago.” "
There are NO coincidences! There are just ways that everything connected to everything else.
I feel, nay, I KNOW that when I do Magick it is just me attempting to influence all the things that connect all the things.
Anyway, as Camden Benares' says, "Some say he is a sage; others that he is just a shithead"
YMMV
