Y’all ever hear this Eminem song? I just listened to it and it sounds like acid rap era chance was super inspired by how he raps on it. I think acid rain is the song I’m thinking of?
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this or if im just tripping
Ok so I don't think The Big Day deserved the hate it got. I actually love this album it's fun to listen to and the melodies and production are so good plus all of the features are insane like having SWV, John Legend, Megan Thee Stallion, Randy Newman, Shawn Mendes etc all on one album is so cool. I love all the songs. People just hate that Chance decided to have some fun and do something different. He took a step outside of the box of what he usually did and I personally love the end result. I think fans didn't know how to deal with the shift from his old material to the new direction he took on this album but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't care that it's "corny" or whatever. Haters need to learn how to have fun and appreciate fun lyrics like a lot of the rap songs back in the 80's and 90's had corny lyrics too lol
2025 my last time of me caring about this album I've waited far too long for the constant blue balls. This shit getting way to similar to Joyner Lucas adhd roll out and that was terrible.
Since we got something about chances new album do you think we get something this year??
I have been waiting for Star Line ever since April and I'm lucky because some people have been waiting since 2022. I'm seriously considering the rollout for Star Line to be just the singles. Honestly, I would be upset because I have already heard everything, but also happy because the singles Chance has dropped are A-tier. I have heard snippets that could be insane if made into full songs so I don't fully believe the rollout will be purely singles, but Chance's playlist on Spotify indicates the Star Line is the friends we have made along the way. 😂
Anyway, I hope it comes out by the end of 2024 because I'm so tired of waiting. I've been listening to Coloring Book and Acid Rap for the last six months, and I am FIENING for more.
Fiening for a writing exercise. 😢

My answer:
Good Ass Intro > All We Got
Pusha Man < No Problem
Paranoia < Summer Friends (Both top 5 Chance tho)
Cocoa Butter Kisses > DRAM Sings Special
Juice > Blessings
Lost < Same Drugs
Everybody’s Something > Mixtape
Interlude (That’s Love) > Angels (Again, both among Chance’s best songs)
Favourite Song < Juke Jam (Close one)
NaNa < All Night
Smoke Again > How Great
Acid Rain > Smoke Break
Chain Smoker < Finish Line/Drown
Everybody’s Good < Blessings
7-7 for me
Also how hyped are y’all for the new mixtape/album
I think it’s one of the better songs from The Big Day, it just sounds more of a fun goofy song and I don’t really get the cringe feeling from it. Maybe I’m the problem? 💀
Hey what’s up? I made an “art gallery” that catalogs as many of the singles, videos, and snippets from the "Star Line" era as I could find:
The site focuses on the songs that have official artwork + YouTube uploads so that (1) the art is the star and (2) it can auto-play through all the songs in order. You can also reverse the order if you want to listen from newest to oldest.
For now the snippets/interviews/context that occurred between each song are behind the (i) info placard of each song, but I want to surface all that content that in an alternate timeline view in my next version.
Please check it out and let me know what you think!
I was obsessed with Chance when he first came on the scene and made it my mission to obtain every piece of music he’d come out with.
My pick would probably be something from The Big Day like Get A Bag, Found A Good One, Ballin Flossin, etc.
I’ve always found Coloring Book a much more enjoyable and better listen than Acid Rap. In my opinion it’s Chance’s best project by FAR and one of the best rap albums/mixtapes ever.
I think it's time to revive the Discord server before Star Line drops. We had over a thousand members when TBD released but we did a poor job of keeping the server active. I'll be working on revamping everything and setting up some events and definitely a listening party for the new project. Let me know if you have any suggestions as well.
