I would love any recommendations similar to the double where the main characters work together to help each other out while falling in love.
Thank you!
I loved The Legend of Shen Li, especially its ending. Unfortunately, every 2024 costume drama I've watched since then has had a tragic ending. I just finished Kill Me, Love Me and am feeling quite down. Are there any more 2024 costume dramas with happy endings?
Looking for xianxia dramas with high-quality CGI, a well-balanced mix of drama and comedy, and a happy ending.
I've been watching quite a few green flag dramas recently and got bored, so I watched Love of Nirvana. AND I WANT MORE!!! Honestly forgot how fun it was being colour blind. What I'm looking for:
(P.S. Spoilers are welcomed. I just need to be hooked.)
I have just finished the princess royal and while it was nice, I feel drained and I'm looking for modern, light, maybe workplace dramas. I think I have watched every popular modern drama; hidden love, AASSOF, Go ahead, love yourself, find yourself, love endures, As beautiful as you, men in love, will love in spring, Love me love my voice, fake it till you make it, be your own light, etc. I'm looking for maybe newer dramas that are similar to You are my lover friend.
Hi guys and girls, It's been a solid minute since I last watched a Cdrama and I've been wanting to watch one as of late. The only problem is that Im big on age gap noona/Xie Xie romances but I've finished watching most of them. So If any of y'all got any fresh/ new recs in this genre please drop them below. The age gap can really be anything from 1yr to 10/20 but the FL needs to be older. I would also request for ones which are unique and new as I've seen most of them. Hoping to find some great recs. Thank you.
Some shows I've watched: Find yourself You are my sunshine I hear your voice Falling into you ( my fav) Go go squid 2 Timeless love Why women love
And honestly I've watched MANY MANY more but unfortunately I've forgotten most of the titles.

Ones I have already watched:

Any Chinese Drama recommendation like Joy of Life S1 & S2?
I already watched the following dramas:

Gosh I watched a lot of Cdramas hahaha and will watch more coz I love em..
Btw, still waiting for the eng sub of the following dramas T_T
The Imperial Age, Fearless Whispers (2020) & Blossoms Shanghai (2023)
Lately, I have gotten into watching short-form C-dramas. I enjoy the historical/costume/period ones a lot, so I have been watching a variety of them and I have found that I really enjoy the fluffy, light, cute ones. I was hoping to find more of these types of dramas to watch :).
I really liked:
I was hoping to stay away from dramas where there are a lot of misunderstandings, such as the fl has to kill the ml (enemies to lovers) or the ml is hiding a secret from the fl and this causes the fl to distrust him when she finds out. It’s not that I hate these tropes— I have seen a few of them and they were very good. But, I just want to curl up with some lighthearted cuteness where there is good communication and trust between the fl and ml and they stick together— resolving their issues together— the whole way through.
Hi guys
Can anyone give me some recs of good c (or even kdramas ) on Netflix specifically.
Ones I’ve watched
WIFTY
Hidden love
Amidst a snowstorm of love
Reply 1988. (My fav)
Boss and me
Everyone loves me
Put my head on your shoulder
Meteor gardens
Falling into your smile
Coffee Prince
Queen of tears
Crash landing on you
Oh my Venus
King the land
Ones I couldn’t get into:

Any more hidden gems ?

Guy who has x ray eyes, the scene is in an auction where he destroys an item because inside it is another piece to be attached to another item in auction
I saw a tiktok when I was scrolling at night. I forgot to save it unfortunately but what i remember from the clip is:
a historical drama where the female lead does not want to marry the person her family choose (he is a very old man), so she sneak out to a brothel (or some kind) and spend the night with a man (who turns out to be a prince/someone with high status). There was a scene showed in the tiktok clip that the ML was in a bathtub when he asked what she wants (i'm guessing as a payment for her service), she just said she want his coat and she indeed took it home. That kinda intrigued him so he went to search for her. I think the narrator did reveal that this was not FL's first life and she knows what will happen in the future, that is why she purposely pursue the ML. (so i am assuming it is either a time travel thing or a transmigration thing).
please i can't find the tiktok somehow, so i was hoping someone here knows it.
Thanks in advance!
Personally i am not even sure if the drama i am looking for exist or not.Have been trying to find a drama that contains the following.Any reccomendations would be much appreciated thank youu Basically am looking for like an wuxia/ historical cdrama --contains action like war/battles or like have quite a bit of fighting -male protagonist grew up as a commoner and suffered a lot but continued to work hard until he became a reputable solider or something similar -female lead grew up as a princess -romance in it
If anyone has any cdrama reccomendations would help very much thankss.been trying to find but to no success🥲(maybe i shld become a director and go film my own drama)

Hello! A long time ago an acquaintance (I’m no longer in touch with) recommended a modern Cdrama about a career woman having a child and the changes in her identity and the dynamic at home and at work but I never caught the title. Would love to see if anyone hear may know of a drama like this. TIA!
Storyline: What is the Chinese drama where the poor female lead has a sister who steals her family’s money to run off to California where she meets the male lead when the male leads friend gets powder the girl packed in her suitcase on him and then back in China the poor girl ends up at the same prestigious school the male lead goes too and then the female leads mom gets employed as a made or chef at the male leads family home and later in the series when she has to leave the town he tried to buy her a place to live that she refuses to live in
Also the way it was filmed looks like it was from early 2000’s maybe
Plot :- She acts as a secretary at office bjt she is a lover at home. She leaves her home & gives 10 yrs of time to CEO thinking he will marry her. She is a rich heiress who has lot of property. One day, CEO takes her to the meeting. Another man sees her with ill intentiom. And takes her to room in the name of help. The CEO lashes out at secretary and takes her to gynao to make some test assuming she betrayed him. Then the secretary gives the resignation letter.
I just finished watching Amidst a Snowstorm of Love and I have to say it has probably the most beautiful cast I've ever seen. The story of the main couple was good but I was more invested in the friendship between the rivals of the billiards club, them looking so good also helped🙈. I'm looking for some more dramas(modern would be best, but I don't mind historicals) with this type of bonds between the characters where they're bickering and bantering all the time but they also have each other's back.
I've already watched Go Go Squid, Falling into Your Smile
I feel it’s such an underrepresented genre! There are plenty such drama with MLs but hardly any with fls. Female characters always seems to be typecasted despite trying to be “different”.
I would like something like “Fortune Writer” with better editing, where the FL is gray or rather pragmatic but still someone you empathise with and can root for.
FL in this one was truly unique for a C drama.
Hi everybody i'm new to drama in general and i'm looking for a genre that i don't know if it exist.
I'm watching [Cinderella and four knights] and when i saw Kang Ji Wun it made want to watch that kind of story.
What i'm looking for is a drama about a Main character Male/Female that suddenly discover he is from a rich family like he was adopted then found or something and his new rise in fame and all that come with money preferably with a romance.
Thanks for sticking with me and good watch.
What are some good dramas to follow this masterpiece with? I feel like it’s left a gaping hole in me after that ending. I loved it but I need more! I am ok even if it’s just a different take on the same story. I appreciate your suggestions!
I definitely want more palace harem drama!
Drama I have seen: Ruyis Royal love in the palace.
So I just finished watching Blossoms in Adversity which I loved and one of the things I enjoyed was how evil the emperor was. Also they didn't just make him evil for the sake of it but rather showed how a person in his position would end up needing to manipulate people. So I need more drama recs of villainous emperors. I have already watched Empresses in the Palace and Ruyi.
I am searching for a costume drama where a teen girl aspires to be a prosecutor. Two important men seem to become her benefactors and help her crack a few cases. Though they appear to help her, they think she is a nuisance that may cause trouble with their plans, or with politics. So, I think they guide her with the clues they give her, so that the outcomes are in their favor.
One of the men has secretly been chosen by the King to be his heir. The king has no sons, and is never shown in the series. He may be a foreign king.
At the end of the drama, the heir acts maliciously, and I think the prosecutor and the quiet/serious man she likes (he is not one of the two benefactors) are thrown in prison, or nearly killed. It ends on this cliffhanger and says there will be another season.
The FL has an innocent and earnest/bookworm vibe and there is no romance in the drama, though she does ask someone out on a date. I am searching for it because I want to know if the 2nd season was released. I don’t think it was popular. Sound familiar?
From detective work and reverse image i have found its a series called
Love through the wrong door? (sorry if this is a poor translation)
some of the cast names are
童年何若芙 Tóngnián hé ruò fú (as the daughter)
阮流等 Ruǎn liú děng (one of the adults)
this is the link to the episode but i cant find subs and would love to know the proper title of it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0szQYLoYerQ
I just cant find any more information
and any assistance anyone can give me about it Is greatly appreciated.
I added a spoiler tag to synopsis the drama - rich man falls for young housekeeper, they get pregnant (cause it takes 2 to tango). The parents stop him from being with her so he can marry his planned betroved with the promise theywill care for her. except they abandon her and the infant twins and she gets sick raising them. so far thats all i can decipher. I would really like subs so I can understand the dialog. again any help is greatly appreciated.
thank you all in advance
Forgive me for oversharing, but it's been a tough year for me. I lost my stepdad in March from ALS/pancreatic cancer. I lost my special needs brother unexpectedly about 2 weeks ago. Life feels empty, so I was hoping y'all could help uplift my spirits by recommending me some of the current shows to binge watch in the meantime. I've forgotten what's been aired on platforms recently because I haven't been able to focus on anything for obvious reasons...
I like any genre, so the subject matter doesn't matter as long as it's good (if that makes sense)
Thank-You!
I just finished love game in eastern Fantasy and everyone loves me and I need more similar shows to add to my watch list.
i'm looking for dramas with the vibes of hidden love, but without the age gap. i loved the second half of the show when she was in college/working/a mature adult and that they both were equally in love with each other/comforted each other. the ml was such a green flag and the fl (as an adult) was iconic. i liked that there was still a plot and it wasn't just them having relationship issues. are there other fluffy dramas where the characters in college/in their 20s? i've seen when i fly towards you and started lighter and princess (on ep 2 still), for reference i've watched many kdramas but only those 2 cdramas. other cdramas i'm considering watching are exclusive fairytale, moonlight, time and him are just right, and fireworks of my heart
