/r/CasualPhoto is a place to share a photo you took. It can be professional or it could look like you've never operated a camera before. It doesn't matter as long as you took the photo!

My hope for this place is that it becomes an OC /r/pics without all the sob story type submissions. Here are the rules that will help make this a reality:
Rules:
Your post must be OC, meaning that you had to take the picture yourself. If it is found that you did not take the photo then you will be temp banned.
No sob stories. I will go into this more later on.
Don't be a dick. Seriously. Pretty easy.
No creep shots. If you are taking a picture of someone then they must be aware that the picture is being taken.
Don't be lazy with the title. Try and make it a little interesting.
No Selfies!
If you're not sure if your post fits in here, send the mods a message! Any of us well be happy to let you know if your post fits.
If any of these rules are broken while submitting/commenting then it will be at the discretion of the mods of what will be done.
Sob Story Clarification:
What defines a sob story? We classify a sob story as a post with an unnecessarily long title that does not need to be. It is also a title that includes something sad that makes it obvious that the OP is looking for attention. This also includes posts that say something like "My friend doesn't think her drawing's are good. What does Reddit think?". We are not here to be your pick me up. We are here to share photos, not to see your dead puppy that you're trying to extort for useless karma.

Fog a few weeks back
10/10/24 first quarter moon shot from a Nikon D750 in a Nebraska cemetery when trying to get photos of the northern lights. Edited in Lightroom to reduce noise.
My 2nd shoot. Mostly shot in auto mode to learn different exposures of what's right. Used lightroom to brighten colors.
