This is a subreddit designed for Magic: The Gathering players who do not necessarily want to, or are not able to play competitively, and wish to discuss playing MTG for the sake of simple fun. This is a subreddit dedicated to discussion and learning for casual players. As such we would like to keep memes, booster pack pulls, and other irrelevant posts out.
Bear in mind that when people ask for recommendations on this subreddit, they probably have a tight budget, please tailor your recommendations accordingly.
All decks are presumed to be legacy/casual format unless stated otherwise. If you want help with a standard deck, /r/magicdeckbuilding is a better place. If you don't know what we're talking about, you can read up on formats here.

Hello! If you're like me and have a nostalgic love for the old 60-card theme/intro decks, you may enjoy my video series Get Decked! This is a series where I'm building 60-card decks with a $30 USD budget, no format restrictions, and low-mid complexity; the idea being that these decks could be used as a kind of casual cube experience, or to introduce friends and family to the game.
Basically, you know Card Kingdom Battle Decks? Yeah, it's like that.
Here's the first episode, featuring the deck "Good as Gold" which is focused around Knight of New Alara and multicoloured creatures.
I hope you check it out and get inspired for your own casual deckbuilding!
