What are good sites or body’s parts to start modifying on a 2017 GMC TERRAIN FWD
Was looking at bull boost performance turbos as mine is starting to go, the bearing it’s getting bad on mine. I’ve seen these guys around on social media and what not, but does anyone have experience with them or use their parts in your build, looking and their ball bearing turbos, also if you run these and know if they handle high boost well and things like that. Thanks for the help in advance!
Hey everyone! I’m looking to upgrade the rear lights on my 2017 Polo TSI Highline R-Line (see picture) and found the VLAND rear lights. V-land told me this: Some customers have previously reported that the TSI version of the plugs may not fit.
Also, if anyone has alternative recommendations for darker rear lights, I’d love to hear them. Or, if there’s a good way to double-check fitment, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
I have a 2012 VW Beetle Turbo and I am interested in swapping the engine, but I need some help with research! How can I find information about what will fit in my car, and if it will really be an upgrade beyond tuning and adding supporting parts? Current Engine is CBFA EA888 2.0L 4 Cylinder with a turbo producing 200hp and 207 ftlb. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
New to modding, but how do I know which sway bars to get? Are there any brands/types you recommend
thankyou
Am I looking at this decal correctly? Isn't one side supposed to be reversed for the other side of the car? 🤔 Amazon sucks....
Hey everyone! I'm from Brazil and I'm 21M. I recently got my hands on a 2015 Renault Sandero 1.0, and I'm super eager to customize it a bit without breaking the bank. I'm curious about what affordable mods you all would recommend that could improve performance or just make my ride look cooler. What do you think should be my first steps? Any tips or experiences you’d like to share would be awesome! Thanks in advance!
I wanna use revheadz app but thing is that there's no aux port in my phone so isthere anyway I can play audio through type c to usb ? Without any lag so I use blutooth for obd and usb to stereo?
TLDR: Looking for a cold air intake for a 2021 Hyundai Sonata N-Line that is California street legal.
Hello all, new to the sub here! I am looking for a California-approved cold air intake for my boyfriend’s birthday that’s coming up. Because of the holiday season, I wanted to get ahead of this sooner rather than later. He’s been saying that he wants one for his 2021 Hyundai Sonata N-Line but to my understanding the mod is allowed if it is CARB approved. I’ve been doing research the past few days and it doesn’t help that I’m not car-savvy like him. I would ask him but obviously it’s a surprise. If anyone could send me some links or to other subs that would help me out, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance :)
So I’m planning to get some 17x7.5 wheels on my cooper and I don’t know if that will work fine with added spacers or if I should get wider wheels. Most widebody kits for my car add around 25-35mm
my friend bought an after market steering wheel for his scat pack with an led screen on it that displays (mph, car temps, etc). it came with a white plugging that goes in the obd port to get that info, he asked me to drive it and when i was taking the parking break off i accidentally hit it, and it broke. he’s trying to make me pay $1000 for a new wheel, and i don’t have that kind of money. is there some way to replace the plugin? please help
Just installed. Looks sick. You can do it yourself. Only took 2 hours.
I have a BMW z3 with a m52tu engine and I know that the m50 intake swap is a common upgrade however these performance intake manifolds are perpose made for performance for this exact engine but considering they are always made of metal that could heat up the air coming in so Im unsure if I should I get something like shown in the picture or should I just get a plastic m50 intake
Hi everyone, this is my first post here just trying to get some info. I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer LS and I was wondering if there are any body kits that work on it. It's a bit basic and I just want a sportier look
Thanks all, excited to be a part of the community!
Hey I'm interested in having purple tint on my fog lights, I was just wondering if anyone knows if such a thing would be legal in NC
Like if I hit the lotto tomorrow or a rich uncle I didn't know about dies, what would this actually cost? Because a badass V8 manual hearse with a warranty sounds like exactly how I would want to blow that windfall
I want somthing that has good aftermarket support and is good looking. I’ve been thinking about the 2016 miata, 90’s civic, 350/370z, brz/86/frs, or sn95 mustang. If theres any similar cars I should be looking at that are better then tell me. I’m trying to get it under 10k$ If possible, and fb marketplace is my best option.
I recently installed the Yofer front lip on my Honda Civic 11 Gen. Looks sick!

i have a 2021 black mazda cx9. i’m a newer driver and this is my first car and i want so badly to make it as cool as i can. this used to be my dads car and he bought it brand new. i have some ideas but am not educated on cars.
interior wise main priority would be like subs or something.
exterior only ideas i have is i DEFINITELY want to make it louder ive been wanting to cut off my exhaust for a while but idk how to go about that im not tryna go into somewhere and have someone else do it. maybe make the badges a diff color or get rid of them. tints 100%. idk if this would be possible but making the silver exterior accents black? different rims and i need tires too.
anyway someone please help me and lmk what i could do bc i can’t really find anything online of other people modding theirs if you guys need anymore info just lmk
Hey everyone. I had recently gotten a 2005 VW Jetta GL sedan manual from my gf's mom and i want to do some mods to it. Im not too educated in German engineering so I'm wondering if anyone has ideas for me to do.
(GL Sedan)
(2.0L I4 Manual)
Just bought a Subaru forester that has been straight piped and I’m wanting it to quiet down a bit, as it’s obviosuly very loud and disturbs the neighbours and is illegal I believe? What are my options because I wanna keep it pretty loud just not that loud, and what’s something low costing
Hello I’m new to car mods and tried to look up peoples different ideas and noticed a lot of people disliking the idea of ppl modifying more common cars like corollas ( I have a corolla) and see ppl say to wait to get a better car. I know I’m not getting a new car anytime soon. (Especially in this economy) I’m a very artsy person and love to customize everything and have it reflect my interests and was going to customize my Corolla to look like one of the ships from Cowboy Bebop. I just want to know why it’s so bad to mod a common car?

I have 2 questions and a 2013 Audi A5 2T Quattro
I ain’t a bum I don’t want to be that guy with a crazy loud muffler delete on my 4 cylinder regular traffic Audi. But maybe for a day messing around with my friends I’d like to hear it. I’ve heard you can unscrew and put some spacers between where the muffler and the rest of the exhaust system meets to make it a bit louder in a way that is reversible. Is this a stupid idea that might harm the car or is it really something I could do for fun with my friends for a day.
Second question. Like I said I wouldn’t want to have a permanent louder engine but what I would like is maybe a permanently louder turbo. I think that would just be satisfying to drive around with and far less obnoxious. I’ve mostly seen people say get an intake. Is that the best/only way of doing this and how do I know what to get for a 2013 Audi A5. Any recommendations?
So I have been modifying my 04 accord I’ve done stage 2 takeda intake, skunk2 intake manifold, k series fuel rail and a magnaflow exhaust and want to add nitrous but I realized I’ve entered tuneing territory and I have no knowledge on anything with tunes not a thing so my question is do I need to upgrade my ecu components. I’m just trying to figure out if I’m gonna having to buy the ktuner at this point or not cuz 750 is a lot for a ecu this early in the build if I don’t need it yet it can wait till next tune but I’m just in a rush before nov 4th when it goes to tuner
I believe it is some sort of ECM, but unsure. I can provide additional photos or information! Just trying to get any information on what this could be/do
