True story
True that I am adulting
Peanut m&m’s are great 🤍
I used to love match 'ems and their gimmick. But they became harder and harder to find in stores over the years. I would buy them a lot when ever I saw them. I found them once in a candy shop in a farmers market, and a couple of times in a Michael's candy section near the checkouts before they were replaced. They're available for sale online, of course. But no where else as far as I've seen. Here are some POTENTIAL reasons I've came up with:
1: They declined in sales, and no one wanted to sell them
2: They're not sold in my area
3: They aren't popular enough, not benefiting larger corporations that sell them
Either way, I still enjoy these things and miss them.
Not sure of spelling but anyway. Does anyone else remember this candy bar when it didn't have the Carmel in it. This always happens to me if I really like something. It gets discontinued or changed. It used to be my favorite.
He had to leave just before trick or treating started. As result, he didn’t pass out any candy and brought it over to our house! Never mind the mess. We are getting ready for winter and I’m also doing some repairs. Everything is everywhere right now!
I usually get these in my chaperone payment and me and my sister were both shocked to see we hadn’t gotten any. Anyone else love these?
Is it still okay to eat or should I toss it?
Whenever I eat them the taste and touch senses in my mouth feel lessened and slightly numb... Anyone else get this feeling, or is there something wrong with me?
I swear these used to be more brighter in colour and now they look washed out
I can’t find any evidence of the existence of these jawbreakers.
I bought them at a drugstore called Genovese on Long Island in 2001/2002.
They weren’t huge but weren’t small. They fit in the palm of my hand (as a 10 year old). They were covered in an almost powdery coating that was white but not fully because you could see that the first layer was light green. There was black candy on it made to resemble moon craters. They were simply called Alien Jawbreakers. I just want to see a picture of them. I can still taste them. Does anyone remember?
I found these at a local grocery store. They were on sale for $2.50 and they each had a $1.00 off coupon taped to the front. So, almost a pound (14 oz) of licorice for $3.00!
I'm saving them for election night snacking; that's why I haven't already ripped the bags open and tasted them.
I have fond memories of them being in buffets at the cash register back in the late 80s. It’s like a butter mint with a jelly center. I haven’t seen them for a long time. :(
