HP Prime Programming issues with CAS.function making {} appear on output

So... I've been trying to make a simple 5 step algorithm that solves minimizing/maximizing with Lagrange multipliers (mostly as a way to learn how to program for the prime), but my functions start breaking/ appear between "{}" in the terminal after I use CAS.solve(); and it makes it not usable (become 0) in subsequent calculations, id like some guidance on anything I'm doing wrong and how to fix this, any help is really appreciated.

Question to the experts. Can TI-30X Pro handle sin(1+i) and produce 1.2984... + i * 0.6349 result?

Which calculator do you recommend for numerical analysis?

Hi everyone, I need to buy a calculator for study. I will need to be able to do: polynomial interpolation using Lagrange's and Newton's methods; numerical integration using the midpoint, trapezoid and Simpson's formulas; numerical solving of linear systems using Gauss's method with and without pivoting and PA=LU decomposition of matrices. Which calculator do you recommend?

Which calculator is better?

I am confused between two calculators TI-30xs and Casio FX 82 es plus TI 30xs(Rs.2900) here in India is approximately 4 times the price of Casio FX 82 ES plus(Rs.744). Is TI 30xs worth for its price or should I go with Casio one?

FYI My local Target has TI-84 CE Pythons on clearance for $45 Houston Texas

Just as the title says, not sure how wide spread the clearances might be among Targets or if it is just this one store, but there was about 7 new and on clearance for $44.99 Spring Target for anyone local. Not sure if this kind of post is allowed but too good a deal not to share.

Toshiba LC-831W

I got this beautiful machine few days ago from a friend who lives in Germany, he bought an apartment and found it in the drawer. Main display works but it's not readable in most angles. Clock display is off, maybe needs new battery, I've already ordered new 3xLR44's. Year of introduction is 1978, same year when Toshiba changed its company name from "Tokyo Shibaura Electric Co., Ltd.".

I really like that ON/OFF switch, very satisfying 😁. Case and original instructions included, proudly says Made in Japan. 😎

Calculator with dedicated dms button that allows reuse of previous answers?

I'm looking for a calculator with a dedicated dms button (ex. Casio FX 991 ES, TI-30XSII) with the ability to scroll and reuse previous answers (ex. TI-36X Pro and most graphing calculators). Anybody know a good model?

It's not the end of the world if not, but it would be very convenient to have one for a professional exam which requires multi step dms calculations.

Good low or maybe medium budget scientific/graphing/financial calculators?

I'm looking at calculators, but I also really want to hear community opinions, I don't have any tests I need them allowed for, nor a super specific purpose, just crave em. Idk. My budget is 60 bucks but lower options to check out is appreciated.

Inequality Solver Casio FX-CG50

I have recently acquired the Casio FX-CG50 and was wondering if it has a mode / option to solve polynomial inequalities, much like the classwiz. I have searched the whole internet and tried myself many times but could not figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated.

Free online Scientific calculator reccomendations?? please

Hey I'm a new college student. I don't have a TI84 calculator and I'm cooked without one. The online calculator I was using "sagecalc" changed their site and it's not compatible with my phone anymore. I'd really appreciate any other recommendations.

how to make BA II PLUS Business Analyst Calculator break or glitch (that’s fixable)

Im planning on giving back this calculator to someone who did me very wrong. I was wondering if there was any way I could mess with it that will still allow them to fix it but with effort?

Went Back to College and realized I hate using TI calculators

I have been using RPN calculators for the past few years. Was shown one by a professor at my community college and found it made more sense to me. I used a DM-42 to finish that degree and it sits on my desk and gets daily use in my current engineering role. I decided to finish an online 4 year in Electrical Engineering and hit my first math class. In order to take exams, I’m only allowed to use their specific browser calculator and I forgot how tedious standard calculators were. I had mentioned this to the professor and he had no idea what I was talking about and came across as though he thought I was an idiot for forgetting how to input parentheses into a calculator. Anyway, I’d thought you guys would get a laugh. I don’t really hate TI calculators, I just got spoiled with RPN.
