I put the expression (x+3)(x+3)=(x^2+9) in casio calculator check mode, and it told me it is true. We all know it is wrong because a^2+2ab+b^2 will give us x^2+6x+9, but I re-entered multiple times, and it keep giving me the wrong answer
It works normally when I do 2 / π
Am I doing something wrong or is my calculator just shit
I had bought a TI-84 graphing calculator off a friend for $10 so I could use it for college but this calculator does not allow me to be able to access certain functions such as the apps on the calculator I’m assuming my friend probably stole it from his high school before they graduated does anyone know how I can fix the calculator so I can access the apps function
Ola, aonde encontro programas de engenharia para a cassio fx-cg50.....programas por exemplo de calculos de força de reação e momentos de viga ... agradeço quem puder ajudar...abs
I probably know the answer to this already. Does anyone know if there is a a way to extend the length of time before the backlight dims. I've been using the Numworks alot recently and for me the backlight dims way to fast. I can't find anything in the settings (except brightness) or online. Thanks.
hello!
I'm trying to convert a PDF to an app on my HP Prime calculator, but Tiplanet cannot complete the processing of one of the archives. I do not know any alternative for Tiplanet. Can somebody indicate if there's any other site that can convert the PDF to the .hpappdir file?
I have one of these from some years ago and it's just collecting dust at the moment.
Are these actually as valuable as people make them out to be? I've seen some people say they go for up to 90$ but I've seen them currently selling for £15. (Possibly the fakes mentioned?)
This one I have is definitely a genuine one, would it be worth trying to sell it off, if so how much are they actually worth?
Trying to decide between these two but it's been hard trying to find any good information. I was inclined more towards the Casio at first, but I heard that the MathPrint is faster and more intuitive.
Thoughts?
Hi
Does anyone have an opinion on Sharp EL-738XTB vs Casio FC-200V-2 ?
Thanks, Ian
Hi all. I just picked up a 17B II. Even though the 12C is the ultimate and standard, how does the 17B II stack up?
Is the 17B II a superset of the 12C
Hi all.
Reading through the HP-20S manual, I see its limits of five parentheses levels and four pending operations.
Looking over and over and over the 22S manual, I see no remarks.
So for the 22S what are its limits?
are there any (cheap preferably) office RPN calculators? yk, without any of the fancy sin, cos, tg, ctg stuff. i would love to own one thb it seems so cool
The advent of 8x32K RAM cartridges for the TI-95, see https://www.reddit.com/r/calculators/comments/1h39d7q/8x32k_ram_rom_cartridges_for_the_ti95_ti74s/, I've decided to go back to my "TI-95 Utilities Cartridge", as storing it in a 32K RAM cartridge will leave plenty of space for other user-created programs (and as an even more ambitious thought, those cartridges would still have some 16K for users available if I were to integrate my "convert RAM cartridge to 1,000 registers" code, and the, obvious 8K that would be required for those 1,000 registers...)
Anyway, during the last weeks I've converted the manual to html, and although it will take me some (or more...) time to make the code, a cartridge image, and support programs, the TMS 7000 assembler and linker, available, I would like to ask those interested to have a look at what the "manual" looks like now, and suggest any ways to improve it.
I know there is some kind of software that you need a paid subscription for that transfers files between the calculator and the computer, but can the calculator perform all advertised functions without this software aside from transferring files to and from a computer? Will the calculator lose function of my subscription runs out?
And is there a way I can get a pirated version of this software or an equivalent that some guy made in his basement?
I have a calculator test tmrw, and I'm going to be finding the area between two curves. There will be multiple interception points, and as a result, multiple integrals. I don't want to keep writing the same equation over and over, so I need to take the equation from my graphing screen and put them on run/matrix.
Any idea how to do that? I've looked all over the place, and idk how. pls help me :((((
