section 206 row 56. $245 total. Let me know!
Hey everyone, I’m turning 20 in a few days, and I think I have a good shot at getting into CU Boulder. I’ve been on my own for 2 years now. I took 2 online classes (English Comp I and Intro to Poli Sci) through Front Range over the summer. My high school GPA wasn’t great or anything, but I have a pretty good looking resume now. I want to go to college and I had a few questions:
I appreciate your help 😊
Got a ton of candy for the kids in the neighborhood (I’m pretty far from campus), no one showing so far, abandoned by roommates for the night even though I bought beer for us, zero parties in the area.
We got the whole halloweekend though so I’ll try suffer through though. Anyhow CU, how’s your Thursday going?
Edit: so yeah if anyone wants beer and free candy dm me because I have both an unused 30 rack of keystone and like 3 bags and big bowl of candy
I’m coach prime for halloween tonight!! What are some lines I can say when ppl recognize my costume that are common from him? Im thinking like “don’t disrespect travis” “What time is it? prime time!”
Edit: Yes, I am white. No, I am not doing blackface 😭😭
Going back with some friends to the Utah game. Bought tickets online, didn’t realize they were student tickets. Level SS sec 211. Are we able to use these?
My son applied during the early application period and my understanding is that CU Boulder does rolling admissions (from what I've seen 4-6 weeks). We're in that window. Has anyone received their notifications yet?
There used to be a jewelry vendor outside of the UMC. Does anyone know the name of the brand or have their website?
Does anyone have experience taking winter classes who requires financial aid/loans? I’m not sure how to go about paying for it, like if I should take out a loan now / what it’s going to cost etc. any help would be appreciated! I’m also planning to take 3 summer classes so if anyone has financial aid tips for summer sessions I’d love to hear them!
Hey there,
Checking in to see if anybody has completed this program. If so, would you be kind enough to share feedback?
Thanks a lot for your time in responding!
Hi Guys!
I'm an international transfer student from China, moving from sophomore to junior year, and I'm looking for advice on choosing between UMN, CU Boulder, OSU, and potentially UIUC. I’ve been accepted to UMN, CU Boulder, and OSU, and am still waiting on UIUC. All of my acceptances are for Geography (or GGIS at UIUC). My long-term goal is a fully-funded PhD in the U.S., and I'm also considering a minor in architecture. Here’s a summary of what I'm weighing for each school:
UMN

Cons:
CU Boulder

OSU

UIUC (waiting)

My current ranking was UIUC > UMN > CUB, but OSU’s new offer has me rethinking my priorities. Any advice? Thanks so much!
I'm a sophomore in aero and coming to the realization that I likely will not survive this program at at the pace students are intended to finish it, and I want to space out my degree so I have some room to breathe. I understand the program is being restructured in the next few years, does anyone have insight to long I have to finish my current curriculum, what would happen if I fall behind the courses being phased out?
So I’m from North Carolina and i recently just got admitted to CU boulder. I really like the school and its overall vibe but I’m worried a person like me with a strong ass country accent might not fit in well here. Idk the first thing about western culture but I just love the overall scenic look of boulder and it look like a ton of fun compared to my schools around here. Anyways my question is would a southern country boy like me fit in well or have a hard time at this school?
Whats the biggest dorm size me and my friends can get?
Hello,
If this doesn’t belong here please feel free to remove but I’m looking to see where I can purchase this “hat” for my son. I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated!
Hi! I just visited CU and my heart is pretty set on it. I want to know if anyone can help me figure out my admissions chances.
-3.44 W GPA
If anyone could give me an estimate that would be amazing!! I’m really set on it but trying not to put all of my eggs in one basket in case I get rejected. Edit: I may apply for exploratory studies and then transfer into my major if that will heighten my chances.
If you don't know what to pursue right now, pursue yourself. Pursue being the healthiest, happiest, most disciplined in your own ways, most present, most confident version of yourself. Pursue to become a version that you feel proud to wake up as and at peace to go to sleep as. I can't guarantee! But I feel the right path will reveal itself.

I'm a freshman this year, and am worried about how early I need to start looking for housing for my sophomore year. I'm hoping I can get a 1 bedroom or studio apartment if that helps.
This may be a silly question but do ppl dress up the whole day and go to classes and stuff with their costumes on?
my roommates and i are currently juniors and want to move to the hill next year. does anybody know if it is too late in the cycle to find a 4 bedroom house on the hill for $6000 (1500/person) a month? we’ve checked all the main rental companies and zillow and have legitimately found nothing. any help is really appreciated!
to clarify, this is for the 25/26 school year

Should I go test optional? And also wanted to get my total Tution fees under 15k ( like UTD will give AES will I get that ?)
Does anyone know the requirements to get into CMCI for film production? I have a 3.38 GPA overall, decent amount of extra curriculars, in state, not submiting SATs, a letter of recommendation, and A-B grades overall, and my essays are pretty solid imo. Just wanting some peace of mind and to know if I have an alright chance at getting in.
He LOVED the school and has his heart set on it. But a friend whose son went there worried me about the "Slacker" mentality. He essentially skied a lot and smoked a lot of pot. I tend to believe that while there will certainly be plenty of fun to be had, the same is true of most big schools (and, heck, even most schools in general) and it really depends on the kid. I do think the extracurricular activities are an important part of school--but I'm also hoping my son will continue to be motivated. Thoughts?
CU Boulder is my high school senior's #1 going into college apps. He is interested in the creative side Advertising/PR--with aspirations of working in sports marketing one day. I'm wondering if anyone has first-hand knowledge of the program and/or of CMCI. For what it's worth, he's hoping to minor in business...and also apply for the sports management 9-week summer workshop (I know this is competitive). Also, I'm a Creative Director/writer in advertising, so I do understand the industry--though MUCH has changed since I started.
