What are the best high-end furniture stores in the area? Willing to drive a bit beyond Bucks if necessary (anywhere in greater Philadelphia metro, Princeton, etc). We want something that:
We went to McGills - run-down, a lot of cheap stuff. There must be something better. Years ago there was a WONDERFUL high-end furniture store called Light Parker in Conshohocken. It closed around the time of COVID, I think. Is there anything comparable today?
I am looking for the restaurant with the best rolls in Bucks County. My daughter and I used to eat at Bertucci’s, and we loved their rolls. What restaurant has your favorite bread?
Does anyone near Pipersville have a mattress for sale that they can deliver for around 100$ as well as an area rug? I finally got a room! so I am no longer homeless and I start my job tomorrow!
I was so looking forward to not having to go through dozens of political texts in my messages, but am I the only one who is still getting slammed with a bunch of texts?
They don’t stop. I don’t care who wants a recount, who conceded and who didn’t, I don’t care that, “Donald Trump needs your support.”
Is this how it always was? I thought it always stopped after the election was over before.

Told my friends online I'm from Bucks County and immediately got swamped with memes about "buck breaking." I had no idea what that even was but now I'm aware. It's absolutely awful what they did to us black men back then. Our masculinity will NOT be challenged. We are NOT gay.
I have T.J. pass the place to go to the gym so on the way it was coming soon and when I was done the sign is down and people are inside eating and it’s open for business.
I hope it’s great and can make a good run there.
It’s been 3 god damn months already. I can walk across the neshaminy creek with without waders.
Are there any good spots around sellersville pa? I’ve been to lake Lenape that’s about it. There seems to be many streams and rivers around but I’m not sure about where to park to access them. Any advice?
What are your recommendations of BIPOC/women/immigrant owned businesses in Bucks that could use some support from their neighbors to let them know we love them we support them and we’re glad they’re here? The holidays are coming up and I want to shop with intention.
Wanting to get rid of a good condition pool table in my basement in lower bucks. Measures 114x63x31, black with orange trim, balls and sticks as well as storage and cover included. Honestly no idea what a used pool table sells for, thinking $1-2,000? No luck on Craigslist. Or donating it to a rec center or some kind of non-profit. Any recommendations? Thanks.
i went to remount my tv, with the same mounts that i used last time, and they aren’t fitting right? i’m not really handy so it could be a simple mistake but if anyone knows what to do it would be highly appreciated!!
Is anyone having an issue with the water smelling weird???
Do they actually ticket people for not paying for parking in the warminster station lot? Or did they just say that to make sure we pay? I know its only 2 dollars to park, but if i forget to pay, do i get a fine?
As if the latest batch from yesterday, there is only a 500 vote difference between Trump and Harris with 95% of the estimated vote in. Ballots are still being counted (mail in / absentee I believe), which tend to skew democratic. In 2020, the final counts weren’t even finalized until December (I know, COVID delays, etc), but it just seems too early to call. I know it won’t make a difference in the grand scheme of things, just seems to early to definitively claim that “Bucks went red”.
As if 11/6 5:13am:
Trump - 195,147 Harris - 194,635 Stein - 1,917 Oliver - 1,890
I’ve been checking the Bucks County website all last night and today. the last update was at 5:36 am and it shows that ballots are only partially counted. How many votes are left to count? Why haven’t they finalized the count?

would anyone be interested in getting together. Like if we started a Meetup group?
Looks like we are close. Looks like staff training
TLDR, I told a little old man in the pick up line that his turn signal was broken(because he didn't use it so he could get infront of me in line), he said thank you(as sarcastically as possible) and I told him to have the day he deserves as I left with my child. Get a call from the school half an hour ago telling me, asking me not to wear it to the school anymore because it's makes the kids uncomfortable. I didn't see any kids, just mine and the little old man that walked past me into the office. My shirt says fuck at the top with a pie chart of 'that', 'this shit' and 'you'. I've had this shirt since before my kids started going to school there, and I highly doubt I haven't worn it there in the last 8 years but today it was a problem. Can they tell me I can't wear my shirt on their property legal, or keep me from coming on the property because of my shirt, as an adult? I'm just more pissed off that they couldn't just talk to me like I was an adult and tell me the truth. I know my argument of, he was driving like an entitled asshole" doesn't matter, but now I'm just genuinely curious. I see girls going to school almost naked in 30° weather but my shirt is a problem even though I'm completely covered. I just hate the school and am angry over this stupid shit.
The water in Lake Luxembourg at Core Creek Park is very low right now.
Curious if anyone here knows if it’s a function of regional drought conditions or another project for sediment/algae removal?
I wasn’t a huge fan of Kamala, but I extremely dislike trump, so I am very disappointed at the results of this election. However, that being said, we need to unify, please let our community be able to set aside differences and work together to make life happier.
I have many friends who don’t believe what I believe and while I can strongly disagree and dislike their POV, I still respect them fundamentally as a human being. If you voted for Trump, please make your vote actually mean something good. I think he’s a horrible man, but that doesn’t mean you (the voter) have to be, be kind to your neighbors.
Also really talk to people, don’t surround yourself in a bubble, everyone has their reasons as to way they do things. I, a liberal woman, am willing to make compromises with the right wing, if it means that people will be able to live comfortable and happy lives.
Lastly, stay educated, try not to let emotions dictate everyone else’s lives, this goes to hardcore right wingers to ‘woke’ leftist. Nobody is gonna wanna hear you out if you insult everything about them. You can only change with patience, compassion and understanding.
Good luck everyone, we are in this together.
Edit: please understand that im simply talking about MY community, I don’t mean to fix every problem in the United States as a whole. I am but one person. Maybe if people were more willing to talk it out and have some good communication, then we wouldn’t be so hateful towards each other.
Edit2: yes I know another edit, but even days after I posted people still have been commenting so I’d just like to say something. I hope everyone who comments that they say fuck you to each side, you are the reason that America is heading down the path it is. YOU are unwilling to hear anyone out, BOTH REPUBLICAN AND DEMOCRAT! So let me remind you, it’s not us vs them, it’s us vs the 1%. It doesn’t matter if you blue or red, you are nothing but puddy to the rich man who aims to see you suffer and see your community suffer for the sake of profit. While blue is yelling at red and red at blue, the cost of living gets higher and higher. The lack of healthcare grows, the lack of support grows. Ask yourself, do you just wanna see everyone burn at the sake of being right? Are you really that selfish?
Looking for events or things to do on Friday night. Context: middle aged couple with 3 teens and toddler. We have a rare opportunity to be kid free for a few hours out of the house. Give me ideas on where to go/what to do. Preferably around the Doylestown area and not just dinner/drinks.
Can anyone recommend a good spot for a funeral luncheon near Our Lady of Grace cemetery?
We were looking to do Fisher's but they appear to be closed.
My husband absentmindedly put his sticker here when we got home yesterday… not exactly sure why, but it spoke to me this morning.
