UPDATE: Dropping the RV idea

I've decided the RV was probably a dumb desicion and it would be (in the long run) Cheaper to rent a room. If anyone in Dublin has a room for rent or anyone knows anyone please do let me know! Also I just got a job so things are looking up😎

How long did your mail-in ballot take to arrive?

I requested a mail-in ballot over a week ago but the link they sent to track its status says that it hasn’t been sent to the requested address yet. Has anyone else faced a similar problem? If so, how long did it take for your ballot to arrive after your request was approved?

You Are Not Going to Believe Who Funds Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick - Bucks County Beacon

He doesn’t answer to voters in his district. He answers to out-of-state big pockets and PACs.

  • Only 1 percent of Fitzpatrick’s money comes from small donors.
  • A whopping 92.5 percent comes from out of state.

The rest of the data will surprise you; there's a massive gulf between demographic data sets, especially men and women.

Rotator Cuff Specialist

Anyone have a good recommendation for a rotator cuff specialist/surgeon (not Rothman)?

I am a 30 year old male who lifts daily and leads a very active lifestyle. I tore my labrum 10 years ago and got arthroscopic surgery at Rothman and it has never been the same since. Last week in the gym I’m pretty sure I tore my rotator cuff and have been in a lot of pain since.

Any and all recommendations appreciated.

Rocky Horror Show- New Hope

  1. Yay for non-political!
  2. I know this is a huge stretch- but anyone here know how I can get a meet n greet with Frankie Grande before this show ends on Nov 3rd?! My kiddo is obsessed with Frankie and a quick hello would make his life! I would love to see him in the show but not age appropriate for the kiddo. 🤩

What are my voting options?

I have been out of state and will be on Election Day. I ordered a mail-in ballot, but it was returned to sender as undeliverable.

I am in PA now just for a few days, and would like to be able to vote.

Is it possible for me to pick up a ballot in person and drop it off or vote in person??

Edit: thank you all for the advice! I’m going to wait in line to get the ballot and drop it off another day.

Anyone else getting concerned for what election day will look like?

Burning ballot boxes in the news has got me a little skittish. What kind of intimidation tactics will be going on next Tuesday? Who do you even report that to if you see it?

Homeowners insurance renewal - 20% increase?

Just got my renewal bill for my homeowners insurance that i've been with for a year and to my dismay it went from $2500 to $3200 this year. no changes, no claims, dont live in a flood zone... added a new car to my auto insurance policy whom i also have through the company but that shouldn't affect my homeowners. I had a 20% increase the previous year with geico last year, which is why i switched to this one. Do i need to start shopping around yet again? it's exhausting and feel like we're paying for people who live in flood prone areas in other parts of the country.,.

Anyone know of any good quad and dirt bike riding areas near Holland PA?

Hey, I recently picked up a quad so I can go riding with my brother in law who lives in the Poconos. However, aside from riding with him, this quad kind of just sits there collecting dust.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good riding areas around the Holland/Southampton area.

Thank you!

Two Kittens Remaining for Adoption!

Hi everyone! I have two kittens left from the litter that were rescued from Richland Meadows over the summer -- Ivy (brown tabby female) and Charlie (orange male.) They are both UTD on all "first year" shots, neuter appointments are scheduled, and they will be ready to TAKE HOME as of Friday, November 15th!

They were born (estimated) mid-June of this year.

Ivy is 100% sass. I've been telling everyone that, if I could go back, I'd name her "Jessie" after the cowgirl from Toy Story. She's SUPER gentle, but she wants nothing so much as to wrassle your hand, your foot, your sleeve--she's not particular, just give it to her and let her hug it and kick it. She is the perfect, all-purpose, go-go-go kitten.

Charlie is exactly what you would want and hope for in an orange boy -- super sweet, not super bright, just happy and gentle and wants to be loved.

Please note that these kittens were socialized feral rescues, so they still have "stranger danger!" around people for the first time. To that end, you will need to give them a day or so for their true personality to open up around you, although we're happy to share all the goofy details of their wonderful personalities, and videos so that you can see what they're like when they're happy and relaxed.

We would prefer that both kittens go together, but will consider a home that already has another cat, or a PROVEN cat-friendly dog. Homes with no children, or cat-savvy, calm older children are preferred. You must agree not to declaw or allow the cats outdoors at any point in their lives (catios and supervised leash walks are OK!)

The adoption fee is $150 total if you're taking both kittens, or $100 per kitten if they're being separated. For more information, pictures, videos, or for a copy of the adoption application, please send me a direct message!
