How do you cope up

with guilt when parents call you and ask you are you giving your 100% ,will our sacrifice be worth at the end or not

I mean they're right at their side but the guilt of giving your best still seeing no progress hurts a lot mentally I know they are doing the best lots of sacrifices for me ,and i am trying my best but still the guilt always keeps me empty from inside

Meinn tier 3 college ke tier 3 branch mein ( classes started on 27/09/2024 ), 1 mahine starting mein daily college gya bahut hi kam padhke ya na padhke bhi minor tests mein topper ban jaata tha or bachho ke marks bahut hi kam aate the even CR bhi just barely pass hota hai ,

To ab aap samajh hi gye honge ki student quality kya hai yahan pe jab mere jaisa bachha topper bna ghoom rha hai jise jyada kuchh aata bhi nhi hai College ke baad mere pass bahut jyada free time rehta tha usme reels scroll karta tha

Diwali pe Ghar gya paiso ki dikkat dekh(family income is 20k a month, living in tier 2 city ) ke lga galat jagah chla gya ( waise to starting se hi regret tha lekin sochta tha skills >>>> college) College ki placements kisi bhi branch mein koi khaas nhi hai fees 6 Lakh lag jayegi ( state government University hai ) 4 saal mein or placement 2 se 3 LPA ki hai... Or mujhe Graduation ke baad turant hi family ko support karna hoga , ghar ka bada beta hu 🥲 maa baap budhe ho rhe hai 3 chhoti sisters bhi hain 2 ki to padhai likhai or shaadi mein bhi Paisa mujhe hi lagana hoga MBA ya MTech ka to soch bhi nhi sakta kyunki utna padhne ka time bhi nhi hai

Ye sab dekh ke maine 4 November se JEE ki prep start( jab time tha tab na padhne ka bhi regret hai, perfection in every chapter runied my prep in past ) ki shuru mein 10 din college ke saath manage karne ki sochi lekin jyada kuchh khaas nhi hua , 13 November se college nhi gya ( bahar PG le liya tha din bhar room mein hi rehta hu ) ab tak 60% syllabus khatam ho chuka hai, 20 December Tak ho jayega poora ( average 10 ghante daily padha hu) Physics and Chemistry ka or marks bhi 50% tak aane lag gaye mock tests mein to itna confidence to aa gya hai ki jee ho jayega parents ko kuchh nhi pta ki mene partial drop le liya tha

3 weeks se college nhi gya to most probably naam kat gya hoga ( 2 weeks ka rule hai college mein agar koi continuously nhi gya to naam kaat diya jayega) ab mujhe nhi pta ki mujhe end sem ke exams dene diye jayenge ki nhi because of shortage of attendance and no assignment no practicals nothing done...

To mein college se officially withdrawal kab Karu ??? Abhi kar du kya ??Kyunki mujhe waise bhi end sem ke exams dene ke liye nhi Milne, Agar abhi kar dunga to wo original documents de denge like school waala migration character certificate etc.( like withdrawal of your seat from a college) or uske baad mera ye saal full gap year mein count hoga.. College waale migration certificate ke liye mujhe first semester exams ka result chahiye hoga as per the college website jinke liye mein eligible nhi hu...

DUDE ,I HATE THIS discrimination I got answer sheets of my endsem exams just recently ( I had scored more than 90% in exam)

I went there ,saw my marks ,felt good , was about to leave ,but the stopped . Why ? Coz I saw the TA was increasing marks of their friends ( TA is not from my batch ) I mean WTF , TA was increasing 4 ,6 ,u even 12 marks . Why? Coz their friends . I mean what is the point of preparing hard for exams ? I scored more than 90% ,thought I could get A in this subject but this TA is increasing marks for everyone now ( average will increase ,I might get a B) I am just frustrated and I want to cry out loud 😭😭

Hi everyone, How many students from your batch are placed? I’m just curious—is the placement season better compared to 2024, or is it worse since I see many students still unplaced? What other plans do you have let us know it may help others in same condition.

Word of caution, the field of data analytics is facing severe issues with AI - most of the stuff can be done anyone. Even if the next few years are okay, the future of this field is very very bleak.

Join a coaching just for the sake of getting friends, not studying.

I was a school going student and never went to coaching for jee or boards (preferred self study). So I got a somewhat good progress in mains (99.3) and no one in school crossed 96.

So now I am in the hostel of my college where everyone comes with a group of 10-15 people from a big coaching and not a single person from my school could come here.I am practically alone all the time after sem 1.

Being an introvert it is very difficult to merge into someone's already formed group.

So now I regret not joining coaching.

I messed up my Quantum Mechanics, Solid State Physics, and DSA this semester—each worth 4, 3, and 3 credits respectively, out of a total of 20 credits. My current CGPA is 7.8, but if I somehow pass these three subjects without taking a supplementary exam (by pleading with the teachers), my SGPA will be around 7 (I scored 8+ in the remaining 10 credits, with 9 in math and two labs), though my CGPA will still take a hit. On the other hand, if I go for supplementary exams and aim for an 8-9+ score in these subjects, my CGPA will improve. However, many companies reject candidates who have supplementary exams or retests on their record. Should I take the supplementary exams or not?

TL;DR: Should I try passing without supplementary exams (lower CGPA but no record of retests) or take supplementary exams (improve CGPA but risk company rejections)?

I have 72 percent in 12th which i wrote in 2024, and i plan on writing the 12th boards again in 2025. will there be any issue in placements when recruiters see a 1 year gap?

I have a laptop…intel core duo ddr2 ram 3 gb and nominal 512gb SSD that too added on bcuz it completely went out once. My father doesn't even listen to me to get me a new one and shoos me saying who need a laptop in 1st year. Our condition also is too good and well off from other like money is not a problem(not to flex but 3cars and quites some properties). He thinks buying a laptop now is waste of money and I'll just waste it off He doesn't know how much coding assignement every week we are given and how tirelessly I have to sit my ass in the library of college to use the institutes pc's. I am tired of my life. How the fuck do I practice to improve my skills. Wherever it is wrt paper and textbooks I excel effortlessly but this is where due inappropriate amount of practice I lack from other students. My parents expect that I shoul do editing and shit and how the hell does he even expect me to edit any kind of sgit on this trash. They think I am the sole person at fault whenever anything happens. Its like they don't even care for my opinion and always treat me like shit just because I couldn't make it to an IIT and 2 of cousins out of 4 did. I am tired, I sometimes feel like killing someone whenever someone annoys me and I am over the tip.

Pls suggest me some laptops too like under 60k so that even if I ask for it I don't get tormented over it even if I revolt a bit and manage to get it.

Agar layoff hogaya company se then how will you pay for the rent? How would you switch jobs? What if you didn't get a job? And what after that?......how do you all keep up with it and be so chill about it

Guys i got my sem end paper tomorrow and i got diagnosed with psychosis in which i lost my cognitive skills due to cognitive deteoration. I used to be a smart kid and never cheated in school and college till now and this is gonna be the first time that i am gonna cheat as i m umable to remember more than two lines of any subject. I have made 2 chits and need 50 to pass as the paper is of 100 marks. I also sit on the last bench which is great but the problem is it is right adjacent to the door so anybody who walks in would be able to see that i m using chits. I am now planning to do a masters abroad while completing my bachelors in India. So, guys, I’m an Electronics student from a government engineering college in Trivandrum. I couldn’t write the semester exams because I had dengue. I wrote the lab exams and will pass for sure, but I haven’t written any core exams. Tomorrow is my Network Theory exam, and I’m thinking of giving it a shot.
