I am a 4th year CS student in NSUT, Delhi. Have 7 more months for me to finish undergrad. My CGPA is a staggering 5.5/10 and i didn't start learning how to code. All my peers are way ahead of me. I am willing to do anything and everything to get a job. I am willing to study even 12+ hours everyday(minimum). Can someone please help me and tell me what to do?
The simple thought of being jobless and sitting in my home idle is just very scary. Feel like crying. Haven't told anybody about my situation. Very painful. The reason i am like this is because i am an introvert and don't have any friends. I messed up but i am ready to work for the future.
Due to personal reasons i was unable to work for a year, currently unable to get calls do suggest any update and refferals are always appreciated
I am seeking internship in web development but not getting any, can you please suggest me what I am doing wrong
So I started coding in my second year, I was not consistent and I just knew Python. In my third year, I developed an interest in Data Science began to learn about it built some beginner-level projects, and applied for internships but never got any response. Now I am in my final year got shorlisted for 2-3 on campus interviews but never cleared technical round (didn't practiced dsa) currently I have shifted my focus to Full Stack and started with DSA.
Currently I just want to land a good job. Plz help me out.
I'm a btech 3rd year student. I have goos skills on web development (mern stack) and I've done some projects also. Where can I apply for internships? Please help me..
Hi I am planning to switch after 3 years of experience as snow developer. Can anyone suggest some good resume templates?
I recently encountered a problem while developing one of my projects where I needed to use Regex. I didn’t know much about it, and all those complex characters looked intimidating to me. I relied on GPT to generate patterns, but without a solid understanding, I couldn’t have sufficient control over it.
So, I decided to learn Regex and solve the problem on my own. I feel that many developers, despite having experience, still lack confidence in Regex. So, I decided to write an article covering the basics and real-world applications of Regex along with some techniques which could be handy. So developers who used to be in my situation can read it and help in developing their Regex skills.
You can read the article here
Many companies are using AI for their benefit what is your company using it for ?
So I just completed 3rd sem and have learnt enough to start building stuff.what are the companies looking for. For eg. If I am building a discussion forum website then do I have to show that my website has x users, till what extent should I build my project.Do i have to go with some fancy project ideas or just make a simple project ideas.i am from a tier 2-3 college and i have seen many people on this forum who have such good projects but not able to crack a company while my seniors just do some basic projects like some clone.i have 6-7 months till the internship season starts. I am also grinding dsa daily. It would be really helpful if anyone gives me some advice 🙂
Hey everyone,
Please roast/review my resume. What should I add, update and/or remove here?
I am B.Sc. CS grad and I graduated back in June 2024. Had my campus placement offer letter revoked due to hiring freeze (or so I was told) and since then I have been struggling for a job. I need to support my family right now as times are tough and I cannot go for a master's degree (which is my eventual plan). I have applied at over 100 openings and have barely gotten 5-6 responses in the past 2 months, half of them being rejections. I have attached my resume, and I am looking for genuine help. I don't care about any fancy packages right now and would appreciate a 20-25k pm job to help my family.
Currently I am freelancing and have a project which gets me around 10k per month. Any leads and help are also appreciated. I am comparatively weak at DSA and Leetcode but I am simultaneously working on it as well.
Some more full-stack projects that I have worked on but not mentioned on the resume:
- Ecommerce Store (EJS, Express, HTML, CSS, MongoDB)
- Hotel Booking Website with Admin Panel (React, Next, Supabase)
- Tour Booking API (Express, MongoDB)
My Tech Stack: Django (preferred), Express, React, Next
Any and all reviews are welcome!
I don't know which certificate course I should pursue? So, dear seniors could you tell me, which would be best for me at this moment..
Please
I am planning to switch careers. I have mentioned two projects (ChatApp and an HTML/CSS/JavaScript editor). Both projects are built using the MERN stack. I am considering adding some interesting projects to my resume.
I would appreciate your suggestions for a few projects I can build and include on my resume.
Thank you!
I want to target an intership for 2025 and this is my first resume please provide some guidance about how should I improve it ...
So, I've built something similar to codeshare and wanted to host my socket.io express w/ typescript server preferably for free.
Out of the options I see as of now, only Heroku is the possibility. Any others ?
Thanks!
Hi
I'm a fourth year undergrad who has been interning at a young startup for the last year. They formally asked me to join them full time a couple of weeks ago. What questions seem appropriate to ask the founders to judge the company better.
I do also have an offer oncampus which pays more + better benefits but the founders are adament that they are better for growth and the ESOP pool would compensate for any higher offer. (Aggressive for their first round of VC funding)
So yeh, I guess my question is a two parter.
a) What questions should I ask the founders to better judge the Org? b) Are the claims by startup accurate? Anything else I should be looking for?
I currently work in an MNC but my work is shit and not related to coding. I saw an opening for testing/QA developers within my company. Although I really want to do development, this opening is better than what I’m currently doing. However I’m anxious if I’ll get stuck in this role and not be able to convert to a developer in future. how often have you seen testers becoming developers? And is it possible at all?
Breaking News: Local professional develops neck strain from constant app-switching between conversations! 🔄
Hey redditors! I'm researching how we're all handling our increasingly fragmented digital communication. You know, that daily ritual of jumping between Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, Email, and whatever else your team decided to adopt this week.
A day in our lives:
* 9:00 AM: "Which app has the meeting link again?"
* 10:30 AM: "Wait, was that task in Slack, email, or...?"
* 2:00 PM: "Help! Need that document from last week's chat!"
* 4:00 PM: "Did I miss any important messages?"
* 5:30 PM: "Just spent 30 mins switching between apps to make sure I didn't miss anything"
If this feels like your daily digital obstacle course, I'd love to hear your story! I'm conducting research on how we're managing our increasingly fragmented digital lives.

I was laid off from Company Byju's in November 2022, and despite my efforts, I haven’t been able to find a new job since. I have one year of experience in full stack development, but after nearly two years of searching and facing continuous setbacks, I’m feeling quite disheartened. I’m at a crossroads and wondering if I should continue in the software industry or consider a complete career change. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated as I navigate this challenging time. Thank you.
Final year student, mainly backend dev have worked in an early staged startup and know basics of rest apis, was forced to learn more in depth as "basics" didn't land any internships.
Tried multiple places, off-line, online, on campus admin, off campus recruiters couldn't get resume shortlisted, or even get a call back at some places
Gave on campus of almost every service based company, got rejected in every, for whatever reason
Back at home rn , 60-70% of batch is placed, atleast at some WITCH if not at a big corp, feels like hell, feels like im not worthy enough for this.
Took some time alone, built my portfolio site just to feel like i got something, felt happy but how long will i go like this... honestly no idea
That was it. I felt a lil accomplished last night when i deployed my website on github, felt like im not a loser but also at the same time feels like the anxiety will take over me, i dont think I'm mentally good, i dont think im physically good starting to gain weight gave up everything for this one small dream of working at some tech company as a "developer" tryna build something, took everything away from me it might sound dramatic but its not a script its just me writing down whatever I'm feeling rn
Thank you again. For reading all this

We're excited to announce that we have Vishnu Mohandas for an AMA session with us on Nov 9th, 12:00 PM IST.
Vishnu is the CEO and Founder of Ente, an end-to-end open-source encrypted alternative to Google and Apple Photos
An AMA on Engineering & Open-source with Vishnu
Vishnu started programming websites ~20 years ago. He ran into open source in college, while maintaining kernels for low-end Android devices.
He joined Directi in 2012, where he was one of the first engineers on some of their most successful projects. In 2019, he joined Google in Zurich, Switzerland to work on their server infrastructure.
He moved back home to Kerala, India in 2020, to build Ente - a privacy-preserving alternative to Google / Apple Photos. Today, Ente has over 15,000 stars on GitHub and is one of the few FOSS consumer companies to be built sustainably without venture capital.
This post is an announcement; the AMA is NOT starting now. To ensure you don't miss out, add the AMA Event Link to your Google Calendar. You can also find the event on our community events calendar.
Alternatively, you can use the RemindMe bot by commenting “RemindMe! On Nov 9 06:30 am” (which uses UTC), and the bot will send you a reminder when the AMA is about to start.

If anybody know about them, i need your help! Want to know about their 1 year CS program I have strong interest in becoming a IT professional
I don't have CS or maths background thas why i am asking
Manual tester here, having knowledge in Automation test scripts and frameworks(Java/Python - Appium/Selenium, TestNG and few other imp tools),I have already given few interviews as well, no offers in hand yet. My doubt is, considering the current market and as I have very less days left in notice period, is it a good thing to take risk and get out of current company(WITCH) and find a new job outside or take back papers and continue searching and put down papers once I crack an offer?
Reason for resignation was conflict with Manager, for now I'm released from the current project so taking back paper will not be a problem for me.
I graduated in 2024. I started my current job this January in my hometown, which is a tier 2 city with limited tech opportunities. I’ve always wanted to move to a bigger city—not just for the career growth, but also for mental, financial, and social reasons.
The issue is, I’ve always tried to "know something about everything and everything about something," and now I feel stuck. I’ve picked up a lot—web development, Android, cloud-native, DSA—but I can’t confidently say I’m advanced in any one area. I keep hitting a wall at the intermediate level. So, where should I start if I want to build real expertise and move forward in my career? I’m ready to put in the hard work but could really use some guidance. Right now, I’m working on an infrastructure team, mainly with Kubernetes (it's cloud native - SaaS company)
