Not a huge math nerd, but what I can do is predict the worst case scenario and find the percentage chance of you deciding wrong every time!

Split into 4 groups of 3 per group. Measure the first two groups randomly. Best case, one side goes up, the other down and you test one of them with one of the other two baseline groups. If they went down and are now even, the final groups person is lighter. If they went up and are now even the final groups person is heavier. Measure 2 from the final groups and if they're even it's the third person, if uneven, then whatever you learned earlier about the person being heavier or lighter applies and you win... But worst case scenario time

Say you pick two groups that are perfectly even (50% chance) Now measure one of the other two with an even group (as a baseline).if uneven refer to top easy day (I can explain how, or you can trust you win). If they are still even you chose wrong again (33% chance) Now you have 3 people (the last group) but you aren't sure which is heavier or lighter. Measure two of them at random. If they're even the last person is the odd one out and you win! If not, you now have 2 people (one of which is slightly heavier or lighter (66% chance) Now you have a guess to make... I mean it's really unlucky you made it to this point but if someone has a gun to your head make a final 50/50 guess (50% chance)

I want to say that if you choose this method, you have a scant 5.44% chance of choosing everything wrong at every path. I'll admit when it's your life I don't like a 1/20 chance of losing, but the odds are absolutely in your favor!

Throughout the seasons of the show there have been a number of guest stars and cameos, but some of these always leave me with questions.

One example is Amy’s brother who is played by Lin-Manuel Miranda but in another episode Gina goes to watch Hamilton which was made by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Then there is Adam Sandler who played himself, someone who has worked with Andy Samberg in the past. I know this is me overthinking a comedy show but does that mean there is an in universe Andy Samberg alongside Jake? I always wonder this whenever a guest cameo plays themselves in a show or movie that stars someone they have worked with before playing a different character.

It would have been funny if the show referenced this with Adam Sandler saying something like “hey, you look like my friend Andy” or David (Amy’s brother) referencing being mistake for Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Just started watching and both Doug Judy and Charles Boyle are in this movie! They’re partners but no Jake sighting yet.

I was discussing b99 with my friend and we started discussing jake’s character arc. I was happy that by the end of the show he was the balance of mature and funny. In short, he matured over all. My friend said i missed tons of inside references within the show and that the change in his persona wasn’t as good as i thought. Did i miss something?

Can someone with a bit more understanding of how the United States police work explain exactly what jake did wrong? Because to me he had a hunch and went to a place with a bomb at where he then stopped a guy walking through private property at night ran the second he asked to speak to him, so why after arresting him does he then get into so much trouble? I understand the second part with the following him and all that stuff but initially it seems a little confusing that he gor penalised for doing his job when in all appearances he did it by the book the first time round?

The development of their relationship was amazing. Going from a somewhat off putting will they/won't they. Even though Boyle was mostly respectful he was still cringe at times. To having one of the best friendships on the show.

I wish the reveal of Amy telling Jake she was pregnant was something fun. Just how Jake made a huge scheme to ask Amy to marry him, Amy could have done something cool to reveal she was pregnant which I think would fit better with their relationship dynamic. How could she have revealed it in a better way?
