I was watching the episode that had Holt’s mother, Lavern, in and I was thinking how I wish we saw her character again at least once more seeing she had a fun dynamic with Jake.
Are there any characters (one off or at least small time) that you would have liked to have seen more of?
In season 3, episode 20 ("paranoia") charles, gina, amy, and rosa go to "le petit colon" to mess it UP. In the process, the gang knocks down walls and ruins chairs, but there are 2 things specifically that are done that stood out to me.
Amy was very excited about throwing glassware, and after destroying quite a few cups, she turns around, and chucks a glass backwards towards a shelf, which is almost certainly a reference to the season 1 thanksgiving episode when she gets the Nine-nine kicked out of Shaw's bar.
Also, Charles is seen throwing many plates with amazing footwork and grace, a noticable improvement since he broke up with vivienne and hit his rocky mountain oysters.
*sorry for bad image quality
Are they stupid?
I’ve ridden ATVs before, antiquing, in the Berkshires!
For me it's Kate Peralta (S5, E17) and Eleanor Horstweil (S3, E11). I mean don't get me wrong I think both Kathryn and Nasim nailed their respective roles!!! But, GOD am I glad these characters were only a one-time thing on the show😭😭😭
Did seamus murphy ever cash in his favor? I cant remember
almost every single post here has several comments referencing something and everyone always gets it.
I just saw a post with a comment talking abt Jake's grey towel and then someone report 'it never fully dries' that was literally in one episode and we all just got the reference.
I just find it so fun. my brother is also an avid b99 watcher and we constantly reference things and we never miss a reference.
also please leave a random reference in the comments bc I just wanna see us all get it and see the replies.
Everytime I see their ad I see Hitchcock and Scully “Thank you for the pizza cookie idea!” And if you are wondering, yea they deliver far and wide. They have been around for years and years. The original It’s-it company - Stella’s Gourmet has owned the It’s-it company I think… (cookie ice cream sandwiches) And yes, it is all freaking delicious
Also, he’s an award winning detective. Ain’t so bad, is he?😅
In S8:E1 when rosa starts her PI gig she mentions that a woman was assaulted by cops from 74, but according to the show 74 was shut down already in S4:E15. Do the writers not have any other bad precinct in mind ?
In the episode S5E15 - The Puzzle Master, Jake was given a puzzle to enter: Unscramble this letters in this phrase to reveal the name of a film based on a classic novel - SAD ANUS LOSER. I GO IN. Can you guess what it is?
Why was Pimento undercover for 12 years? Surely after the first year, the NYPD would have had enough evidence?
This scene never gets old. Andre’s delivery throughout this whole episode is just brilliant but the way he says “you’re fired” cracks me up every time.
(Season 3 Episode 15 “The 9-8” for context)
I was rewatching the episode recently and i don’t know what to think. I know it’s a secondary plot(i don’t know the name for it) but the fact the guy had a dog and no one really did anything about it annoyed me, considering that being near the dog could KILL Amy. I mean it was irritating her just being there. Idk if i’m looking into it too much but like it could severely injury amy?
Maybe I had a wine drink too many
So this is the episode when Terry’s wife gives birth to their third child. While she is in labor at Holt’s office, Peralta tells Sharon her doula is out of town for thanksgiving, and her back-up doula is in town but helping with a birth at the same time she’s in labor. A few minutes later in the episode, Terry is on the train and it stops because someone is giving birth in the train in front of them. So it’s possible that Sharon’s back-up doula is assisting the birth of the train passenger.
CAN I BREAK UP WITH THEM 😌 – i’m being very Amy rn
